Fisher-Price Loving Family Grand Dollhouse

We purchased this house for my daughter when she was 4. She loves playing with it and it has given her many hours of fun. Would love to see an option for an Asian family of dolls. Our family is interracial and it would be nice to have her playing with some dolls that look like her brother and her.

Please start selling the characters individually so we can customize our kids' toys to better resemble their families. Some families are interracial. Some have 2 moms or 2 dads. Some adopt children of differing races.

I purchased the grand doll house for our two granddaughters back in 1993.Ofcourse i bought all the extra furniture and people that would match our family however when I gave it to the girls I also made a large drawstring bag to go with it to keep everything together. Now after all those years our great-granddaughter is playing with the same doll house with the tote bag filled with all the extras. A sturdy and fun gift filled with lots of happy hours .

This was bought for my daughter at the age of 3, by her Great Grandma. My daughter is mildly autustic and purchased this for her to help build her imaginary playing. It worked like a charm! She is now 7, and continues to play with it! She has convinced her 2 younger brothers that they too can play with her as long as they use the boys. As I mentioned before my daugher has two younger brothers, but she also has a baby sister who just turned one. This house has diffantly with stood the abuse! One on the Pillars on the right fold out side did make a clean snap in half AFTER it was used as a steep stool. Knowbody did ever admit to who it was.ha ha ha Here is a quick list of the other reasons that I give this product a 5 star rating. Affordable investment, as well as add ons being affordable. Wonderfull detail! The Perfect Size, Love that the sides fold in. Hope that this helps some of you .

When I was little, I had a Loving Family dollhouse. I remember it fondly...and was so excited to buy one for my daughter. I think I have as much fun with it as she does. We buy all the furniture sets and have spent countless hours setting up the house and playing. I thoroughly enjoy this product and have not had any complaints about quality. Love it!

I have always been a fan of Fisher Price products and this dollhouse only increased my fan status. The only issue I have is in the sizing of the family. The adult dolls are way too large for the furniture. Poor Dad and Mom overlap the beds and are unable to sit comfortably in the chairs!

My 2 year old daughter received this for Christmas and has been so very involved with playing with it every day. She uses other dolls she has to play along with Mom & Dad and babies. It is a big hit with her cousins also.

I bought this house for my private collection. I have two other older homes. I am a little disappointed with the new model. The staircase takes a lot of space (can not put furniture behind because can not see and dificult access) and can go on the first floor only. Nice improvement window surrounds (beautiful), door and improvement to the entrance.

I purchased a grand loving family dollhouse and it's fully furnished now but I can't find the parents bedroom and the nursery for the twin babies. My granddaughter keeps asking me when I will have them so she can put everyone to sleep in their beds. Why don't they have them in the catalog for me to purchase? Very unhappy about that. This wonderfully constructed dollhouse has nice detail and is a source of endless entertainment for my daughter. She's had this for a year and continues to create her own little world with this sweet pink house. The furniture is so cute and sturdy. I love that some of the pieces light up, play music and make sounds. She gets a kick out of that, too. This was a great investment and will be a treasure that I save for her to pass on to her children someday.

The box I purchased had picture of black family on it, and I was disappointed that it had white family inside. and also there was not any sister in it that was pictured on box. no directions were included. Other than that, it is a good and fun house. My 3 year old granddaughter is happy with it.

My daughter has had this dollhouse for a year now. It has held up great and she has not been delicate in playing with it. The dolls and accessories fit well. There are so many different items to choose from and she loves that. I also like the variation in families to choose from. There is a bad review here claiming the dollhouse doesn't close with the staircase in it. FALSE!!!! Either this person put theirs together wrong or got a faulty house. We have had no problems wit it. As a matter of a fact, after a year of play, my daughter is still excited to play with it and this year she even asked for me accesories for it! Great job Fisher-Price! You guys have never failed us!

Just finished putting this dollhouse together as my daughter's "Santa Gift" for Christmas. We did not open the box to check for missing parts which was our mistake. MISSING: The entire family, the bonus room, one chair and both booster seats for the standard given room, flowers & pots for front porch, In addition the grand staircase has one of the prongs broken that snaps in. To have so many things missing is truly disappointing. Thankfully we purchased other rooms, but did not purchase additional dolls, thinking one family would be a good start. This is a lesson learned. I have emailed customer service and hope that they are as good as the Fisher Price name.

We got this for my daughters third birthday with the intention that IF she liked it, we would buy more rooms and decorations for it for rewards and birthdays. Well my daughter will turn five in Feburary and we are well on the way to having everything made for the house! She loves this set! You really need a designated place to keep the house all set up or a container for the stuff because the little pieces will get lost. The house will come apart if the child is too rough but normal wear and tear is fine. I wish they had made a grandpa for the set since there is a grandma. Other than that I have no complaints!

this dollhouse is completely horrible. the pieces don't fit right. pieces come with it that don't seem to fit in to the dollhouse. my daughter played with it for about an hour when we first got it and it's been sitting in our living room since. i can't wait to get rid of it. if anyone wants it, it's $25 + s/h!

I bought this dollhouse for my 2 yr. old last christmas. She loves it but it seems like if you bend it arund, it would break. Also the staircase can't be left in the dollhouse because the floor won't close, so the sides won't close. I have a dollhouse from fsher price and it's alot sturdier, even after 20 years. It also has a built-in staircase that doesn't block anything from closing. hen I find my old dollhouse, I'm switching them out and using the old one as her main dollhouse and this one as an extra for grandma's house. I love the accesories, but not the doll house. It's not worth $75, more like $40

I bought this for my 1 1/2 y/o daughter and she is now 2 and still loves this. I also have a 5 year old niece who has the same set and loves it. I think this is a toy that will last a long time, and will grow with her. I just ordered her the last few sets off this website as they are harder to find in Canada, but we will now own the whole set! I would recommend this to anyone who has a daughter (as it's pink, not so suitable for a boy).

We bought this for my 2 year old daughter for Christmas. This was above all her favorite present. It included a mom, dad and 2 babies plus a table and chairs. We bought the Everything for Baby set and the Deluxe Kitchen set as well so she would have more to play with. We plan to add more to the set in the future but she is happy with the little furniture and decor she has. I would recommend this to anyone with a child who loves dolls. Sturdy house that will last for years to come.

I actually bought this for my 6year old daughter for Christmas. A lot of what I"m reading is younger kids, but this was my first time ever buying a dollhouse for her, so I thought this would be a good starter. She loves it! She is already nagging me to buy more furniture and accessories. I would definitely like to buy her a bigger on in the future but this is good for now. :)

Just opened and assembled the Loving Family Dollhouse. It is so sturdy and has tons of rooms and places for the kiddos to play. It is the best purchase for the price. Plus all of the additional accessories are affordable if you want to add to the collection. Highly Recommend!!

We love this! My daughter got this for christmas. Love it! Definitely better than Barbie's! Would recommend this to all parents / granparents for their little girl. One suggestion, make a grandpa. We bought the grandma to go along with this set... my daughter keeps asking where the grandpa is.

Phenomenal. My 3 year old daughter has been playing with it non-stop for 2 hours. It truly brings out the creativity in her. The only dissapointment I have is that the box was missing the mom, dad, and twin babies.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift, so our 2 1/2 year old grand daughter has not yet seen it. I looks sturdy enough for a little girl. We got it on sale with 3 extra rooms of stuff so it was a good deal.

I purchased this for my daughter's 4th birthday. She loves creative play and this dollhouse is played with daily. I love the detail that was put into each furniture piece. It is pricey, but I have two girls who will play with this for several years, so it was worth the investment.

I have no issues with the dollhouse in general. It's excellent in all regards. It keeps my daughter entertained much like I expected it would. But, why does it have to be pink? I love Fisher Price products, but this needs to be more unisex in color. Brothers won't play with it just because it's pink even though they enjoy playing with the people just as much as any girl.

Just delivered for my little girls birthday, great product but I was a little stunned when it arrived at my door and the delivery man had his hand out for an additional $15.00 on top of the shipping I was already charged, was not made aware of hidden delivery costs so beware when ordering.

I bought this dollhouse for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely LOVES it! She is not the type of child to sit and play with a toy for any large stretch of time but this keeps her busy for hours. This is a toy she plays with daily. It was easy to assemble and I was pleased with the quality compared to other houses I looked at before making a purchase.

My 4 year old received this for Christmas 2 years ago from her grandmother. She plays with it everyday!! We add to the rooms for birthdays and holidays and she gets so excited to have more to play with. My nephew even plays with her!! It remains one of the most played with toys in the house. It is excellent quality. I would recommend this to anyone who has a child.

My daughter got this for Christmas last year. My kids are triplets. She and her two brothers continue to play together with the doll house. They are 5 this year and the imaginitive play is amazing. I like that it comes with two babies as my children are used to mulitiples! The doll house has held up well with the sometimes rough play of my boys. No parts have broken off or been taken apart. Anything that can stand up to my 3 kids is a toy well worth the money.

The house is adorable and my 4 yr old granddaughter spends hours playing with the house and all its accessories. Instructions for assembling were easy to understand. All the pieces snapped together. There were no screws or any part that needed to be put together with a screwdriver or any other tool. Since the house folds up for easy clean up and storage of all the accessories it can be played with anywhere. I highly recommend this product.

My 4 1/2 year old daughter got this for Christmas and loves it. We got her the twin time dollhouse value package with 8 rooms and it was an amazing amount of items for the price. The only thing that bothers me about the "Loving Family" is that there is not a Grandpa doll. I refused to buy the Grandma because of this. Otherwise I and she love it.

Our 3 year old granddaughter just loves her dollhouse. She's played with it everyday since Christmas. It has maintained her interest and holds up to her sometimes rough play.

The doll house was a big hit for our 3 year old granddaughter. She loves it and played with it for a long time after all the gifts were open. She is esp. intrigued with the TV over the fireplace, and the tea kettle on the stove. The sounds were authentic and fun. I bought this doll house and the accessories for my 4 year old daughter. She loves it! She and her older sister (8) play with this for hours on end! I bought this for my two and a half year old who could not get enough play with her little people. She loves to pretend play with her little dollies, so I thought this would be the perfect gift for Christmas. I planned ahead and bought all ten rooms and the extra people little by little months in advance, so I did not have the entire expense all at once. After setting it up, I realized I did not need to buy all ten rooms due to lack of space, but we manange to put pieces from all ten in the house at once. I had it set up for her on Christmas morning and she was so excited about it, she would not open any of her other presents. She played with the dollhouse for ten hours straight. It is a great first dollhouse for toddlers and I am sure she will be playing with it for years to come. Thanks Fisher Price.

This Dollhouse is a great item!! My daughter has a full imagination and all the accessories enable her to explore and pretend for awhile. It was a great Christmas purchase and the add-ons from relatives expanded the playtime more so! She loves "grandma"! She has only had it a week but it is being enjoyed daily! Even big brother & Pop have gotten down on the floor to "move in" & pretend. As someone else mentioned a working doorbell and a light or two would be a super addition to this home!! how bout a piano or something like that?? Summer time fun like a swingset / pool - just ideas to broaden the play --As some of the accesories with sound add more fun! maybe wall lights/standing lamps etc. could add on in the rooms or something that would be creative!Overall this home is beautiful and I am sure will endure many hours and years of play. Every lil girl would love it. ( I am not sure if it is to have walls dividing the room or not I have to recheck that as mine does not but photos seem to show as such???) Dont think twice your lil girl would love it!! :-)

My 3-year-old has played with this since coming downstairs Christmas morning. She received several accessories from relatives, so she has been arranging and rearranging her house all week. I bought the doll house as a Christmas gift for my almost 3 year old daughter. She loves it. We also got 3 extra play sets to go with it, which I suggest because just a table, chairs and people is not that interesting. Has been playing with it everyday. She does have a hard time opening it, even thought it is easy to do. One thing I think could be improved about the house is it needs lights and a door bell. I am actually going to try to find some LED lights to put in it. It is kinda dark in the house unless a light is shining right on the house. Overall, great produce and I can not wait to get more pieces for the house. Way to go Fisher Price!!!

I bought a Fisher Price Doll House for my daughter about 5 years ago. She's 8 now and still plays with it. The doll house keeps her entertained for hours. The quality and durability of the house is wonderful. The doll house accessories are very cute and have survived the years. Everytime FP comes out with a new accessory, we have to buy it. We have run out of rooms for all the doll furniture and have resorted to using boxes to act as house extensions and basements. It's good, clean fun for kids and adults!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas because every time we go over to her little friends house this is the first thing she wants to go play with. My daughter is 3 1/2 and a "tomboy" and so far this is the only "girly" toy that has caught her attention and she just LOVES playing with it. I have 2 1/2 and a 4 year old. both girls. They fight over everything. But not over the dollhouse. They love it. My husband and I decided to buy it when we had donated boxes and boxes of toys that they were too old for. We not only bought the dollhouse, but also many sets. The girls play with it everyday. Weve owned it for a year and as rough as my kids are on toys, its never broken, cracked or been damaged in any way. it was easy to assemble and all the furniture is durable and I love that ALL THE LITTLE PIECES ARE ATTACHED!!!! that's one of the reasons we chose this dollhouse!!

My 2 year old going on 3 got this for Christmas from her grandparents. The day she opened it she sat for HOURS playing with all of the little things. Her favorite is the twin babies. It is by far the nicest doll house. Some of the things even make noise and light up. She loves that. I had a dollhouse when I was about 5 im 21 now and it too was made by fisher price I loved my doll house when I was little. Great product and is great for imagination.
