This is a great toy for encouraging imaginary play. I bought this for my sons to go with their Little People sets, and they love it. I don't mind that it's pink, but a more gender neutral option would be good also. All the different sounds are fun, and I love that everything can be stored inside.

We absolutely love our Little People Surprise and Sounds Home. My child can play with it and stay extremely entertained while role playing daily life. It has a kitchen set, though we wish it had 4 chairs so the whole family could eat together. We also love all of the sounds throughout the house! We do wish it had a doorbell, and possibly a garage like the old one from my childhood, but overall a great toy for imaginative play!

I teach afterschool and we have one in each classroom for the 4-6 year olds. EVERYONE loves these dollhouses including us adults because they're sturdy, have an equally sturdy handle and can lock close. They been banged up a lot and are just fine. I encourage the parents to buy one to gift their kids and the ones with boys just look at me like I'm nuts. "It's pink, it's for girls" they say and then the boys get self-conscious playing with them. No, every child ought to own one because they're super fun but the colors seem to be a mental block for parents! Mattel, please consider changing them.

I bought this for my baby cousin and my son fell in love with it. Sadly it only comes for girls. Maybe change the colour to a yellow or light green so its neutral.

My granddaughter likes the dollhouse, however the Mom & Dad dolls were missing and there was only two chairs for the table. The packaging looked unopened so I think it was shipped like this.

Purchased several items, this toy was very cute. However, the packaging and shipping is terrible. This was to be a gift, but the box was all torn up (inside the shipping box). It took two weeks to get all our packages. I guess I'm used to getting everything within two days from Amazon... it seemed like forever. This is being picky, but even the shipping boxes were messy. Twisted tape everywhere and filled with those terrible foam peanuts which got stuck in the toys and I had to pick them out prior to giving as gifts. Toy = 5 stars. Experience/Shipping = 2 stars.

Bought this for my 15 month old daughter and she plays with it every day. She loves playing the songs, especially the "put your hands up" song. She loves pushing the buttons and hearing all the sounds. My 3 year old son also plays with it too.

My 9 month old daughter received this for Christmas. Her 3.5 year old brother loves playing with it while she chews on the characters. Now only if my husband and I could agree on the lyrics to some of the songs!

My daughter (2 years, 9 months old) got this for Christmas from a family member and this is one of her favorite toys to play with on a daily basis since! She loves all the sounds included - the toilet (she is potty training so loves to hear the response to closing the toilet), loves the kitchen with iPod and dances to the music, and also loves the alarm clock and waking up her little people characters. This toy definitely helps her imagination and she creates stories as she plays with the characters. Bought for my granddaughter who just turned 2, it was an immediate hit amongst all the toys and distractions! I think it's a great toy to develop imaginative play. She just loves the sounds.

I recently bought my son the fisher price farm house and he loves it. I would love to get him the house to go with it so we could play with it all together and create a little world. Sadly this house is pink and though I am very progressive in what give him to play with I really bothers me that it is specifically made for girls. In my opinion there are very few toys, if any, that should be gender specific.

I am a speech-language pathologist and have used three different versions of this house with my little friends. (The houses are very durable, but we have several because they are used by many different therapists.) Play houses are great for stimulating language development. A few versions ago gender neutral colors were used for the house (white house, blue roof). I wish Fisher Price would make more toys that were neutral in color. Parents often ask what toys would stimulate language development and I always recommend a dollhouse. The little boys don't mind the pink, but often their parents already consider a dollhouse a "girls'" toy. When the only option is pink many parents won't buy them for their boys. Please consider making one in neutral colors.

I bought this a few weeks ago for my neice's birthday and the sound doesn't work. She still plays with it alot but it's disappointing that it was supposed to make sound aND doesn't.

We have had this playhouse a few months now and my kids still enjoy playing with it! It is so life like with all of the extra features it has, for example the music in the kitchen that it plays, the noise when the toilet flushes, the "get out of bed sleepyhead". It is a true interacting playhouse and just want my daughter wanted. When she doesn't have friends over to play dolls with her, she knows she can get her talking house and still have a great time! It folds so easily to be put away as to not take up a ton of space. Truly a favorite still in this house!

This house is complete with a bunk beds room, a master room with bed, a kitchen, and a family room. Additional accessories include a table and chairs and a family of three. Hours of playtime and still a go-to toy for my three year old.

This has been a wonderful addition to my daughter's toy collection. She absolutely loved this! It is more than just a doll house, it helps teaches some of the basics of the house that we try to teach our own kids. The toilet flushes, and it says "brush your teeth ". Now my two year old runs around yelling brush your teeth 100x a day. The stove light up which I thought was a nice touch. My only suggestion would be that the people and little pieces that come with it could stick or had a slot it could slide into. Overall it is an awesome product. A dollhouse that also interacts, pretty awesome.

However , I think that this should have included a little boy and not just a little girl . It could have also been a neutral color house . My son was so excited to play with this Little People Surprise & Sounds Home. He thinks the little people toys are adorable and cute. This Little People House has so much to do it entertained him for a good couple of hours. The fact that it comes with a mom and dad was so exciting for him and he would say that the little people were his father and I. It was so cute to see him set up the little house and interact and listen to all the sound effects the house has. The toilet actually has the flushing sound which he thought was so silly and fun. And all the songs it has were so fun for him he learned most of them after a few days. This was definitely a great toy and I recommend it to all my friends who have kids. You can put everything inside and close it up and grab it by the handle and just take it with you on the go. It is great to take on the go for play dates. Absolutely loved it!

My one and a half year old loves this toy. She usually has a problem with toys keeping her attention but this one had no problems. The quality of the product is wonderful and would hold up multiple children. The colors are also vibrant and catches her attention across the room. I am looking into buying other products out of the collection. A wonderful excerpt for the parents is this won't take up the whole room and can be made to look very clean and tidy.

She recently got another smaller doll house for Christmas before this one, but I must say this one is much bigger and nicer! Her old one she now no longer plays with. It only made 1 noise, the doorbell, on her old doll house. This new one makes 50+ sounds and phrases and definitely keeps my daughter entertained. She loves playing with the alarm clock that goes "cocka doodle do!" and loves playing with the little people and using her imagination and has them "talk" to each other. Her other favorite button is the music player that she loves dancing to the 3 fun songs it plays. We both love how it has a handle on top so when we close it up it's very easy to carry along and tote to her nana and papas house with all the furniture and little people in it. It easily locks into each other on the inside when closing and keeps a tight seal so it doesn't swing open when toting it around. It has a on and off switch on the bottom inside of the house to easily turn it off when no longer playing with it to save the battery. The doll house has many windows for my daughter to look through, which she loves to look through them and say "I see you" or "peek a boo" with me! I love the cute furniture that came along with the doll house so my daughter can play with the little people and let them sit in the chairs and "eat" at the dinner table. This toy has tons of functions. It comes with two characters. If you press down on the alarm clock the beds flip up to help the kids get out of bed. The toilet makes flushing sounds as well as other sounds. The oven and refridgerator both light up when opened. The fridge also talks. The front door opens and closes. It also makes noise. This toy folds up to make it easier to store. I love the imagination that is used during play with this toy!

Little people surprise and sounds is now one of my daughter favorite toys. Easy to take out of box and put together. All you have to do is put two long screws that come with it in the house to connect the two parts of the house. Turn on switch for sounds like the toilet flushing and the refrigerator opening. Love that all pieces are connected because that way my little one isn't losing all the furniture to her house. And last but not least my absolute favorite is that it's easy to take with it easily closes and has a handle to carry.

The Little People Surprise & Sounds Home is a great toy for many ages. The fact that there's so much that you can do with it is wonderful. A few things we loved about it is that even though it's a toy, it does and says things that help them to learn a few things as well, for example the toilet says "wash your hands and they will be squeaky clean". My son loved the Little People Surprise & Sounds Home. As soon as this toy arrived he was trying to get it out of the box. He just turned two and this is a great toy that will grow with him. He likes to open it up and play house with it. One of the things that I liked best about this toy was the music. My son loved dancing along to it. This toy really holds his attention for awhile. The phrases that going along throughout the different rooms is really nice. After, closing the toilet it says, "lets wash our hands." I like how it's not only fun but a learning activity at the same time. My son also liked the little people figures. He is able to carry them around in his pockets. Besides the great music my sons favorite thing about this toy is the oven. He loves being able to open and close it. The toy is very sturdy and made very well. We will be able to play with this toy for a very long time. Overall, this is a great toy and I would highly recommend it!.
