Great quality wagon with convenient stroller option
September 23, 2020
We love our Pivot Xplore wagon stroller. We had looked at a lot of wagon stroller options and were having a hard time deciding if we wanted something mid range or if we would end up wishing we had sprung for one of the more expensive options. We finally decided that this had the features we wanted and weíd give it a try. Iím so glad we did.
It does take two hands to fold up or unfold which seems more cumbersome in comparison to the one hand fold on the travel system stroller that we had. But itís quick and easy to fold and unfold so itís fine. It does take up most of our trunk (mid-size SUV) so it doesnít fold down super small and if you had a smaller vehicle or needed to transport more stuff, that might be a problem for you.
The wagon maneuvers really well, both in terms of turning and in terms of handling different types of terrain. It seems comfortable for our 16 month old to sit in. He asks to get in and will complain if we stop! The foot well is a nice feature that gives him plenty of space.
The add ons that came with the stroller are the snack and drink tray and the basket. Both have been useful. The snack and drink tray snaps in between the two seats and leaves enough space to sit and move around, but is still easy for him to reach. The basket clips on to the front or back and is big enough to put our diaper bag into. There are also plenty of smaller pockets on the inside and outside of the wagon to put a phone or car keys into.
There are two canopies with sun protection and they are very adjustable. Our son prefers them down so I donít have much feedback about how well they block the sun from one or both seats.
The handle adjusts easily and it takes only a second to switch between wagon and stroller mode.
Overall we are very happy with our pivot xplore. It fits what we were looking for in a stroller wagon and I think weíll get good use out of it for years to come.

toddler heaven

This thing is awesome. My two year old has hated strollers forever. I bought a generic radio flyer wagon and it was so much easier. After a while I was wondering if there was a better, more efficient wagon. And they made it!

I just love the design. I love pushing versus pulling. My toddler likes to pull it himself. I love the storage bag and the versatility. I love the shades. Thought they would be too small but you can arrange them so it works well. (other wagons have huge canopy's and they would rattle in the wind and be a pain to take off. I love how it folds up (it is pretty heavy though once folded). It pushes light though. Oh and the tilt down seat is awesome to get kids in and out. It's a little useless when you have a snack tray (they can' t climb to the other side bc the tray is in the way). But, those are small details. I just love this wagon.
Pros-adjustable shades -ability to put infant seat on -snack tray -push ability -versatile storage bag -great wheels -not huge feeling
Cons-pretty heavy when you fold up to put in car. i always make my partner do it. -if snack tray is in place, child cannot go to the side where the seat goes down for easy in/out -shades fall off pretty easily and i have to put them on a lot
Best Useswe use it for everything.

I researched this wagon for sooo long and finally settled on the evenflo vs the veer and pronto. I have a keenz and never reach for it because itís just a boat to push and gets so dirty on the inside. I chose this because it seemed to have the great stroller feel of the pronto, and the footwell of the Veer. I really donít regret it at all. Itís very sturdy, easy to push, and my son has so much fun sitting in it. Heís had a couple of picnics in it, and the snack tray is great. The canopies arenít great, but theyíre all that we really need since he isnít napping in it. Weíve used it on long walks, trips to the park, and in Target. The only complaint that I really have is thereís no easy way to go up over curbs- there isnít a bar to step on to pop the front up. It was a little tricky to go over very intense cracks/roots in the sidewalk, but not unmanageable. Overall, I would definitely recommend it!!
ProsFootwell Easy to push Great snack tray Has option for infant/toddler seat add-on Feels like a portable play date Super compact for a double
ConsCanopies are meh Can?t pop over curbs
Best UsesShopping Park trips Zoo/aquarium/etc
