This is the only swaddle that I have found that my child will stay swaddled in ALL night! I love this product and I owe all my restful nights to it :)

I've used the swaddlers now for about a month. I specifically purchased them because of the arm feature (and the correct hip placement). My baby was able to get her arms out every time and really seemed to hate them (just not her preference). I do like the material though and how easy it is to put on compared to other swaddlers. I really like the strap that gives the baby proper hip placement too.

I absolutely love these ergonomic swaddlers. The only problem that I ran into was that my 3 month old could break one arm free. An extra Velcro strap would have worked wonders. Overall it was the best swaddler that we tried, and our day fighters favorite

Not happy with how this fits my daughter. Arms aren't fully covered, it's like it's too small of a fit in the arms/torso even though she fits the 3-6 months size

We are loving this swaddler. It's easier for me to use than a blanket because she slips right in and doesn't bust out. It's great for daytime naps and soothing little freak outs

We struggled with swaddling our daughter. She broke her arms out of most swaddles and able to turn herself on her side with the miracle blanket (from 2 weeks old). The Ergo swaddler allows her to put her arms where she wants them, instead of at her side. She has slept very well and has stayed on her back since we started using the Ergobaby swaddler.

I received these swaddlers when my baby was about a month and a half old. He was 10lbs 23.5" at birth, and he was way too big for them. As it turns out he's not into swaddles anyway, but my two older children were and I wish I had had these for them back then. They seem like they'd be awesome for smaller babies who like to be swaddled.

I absolutely have loved using this swaddler! When we started using this swaddler, my daughter started sleeping in 6-7+ hour stretches. I love that it has the correct hip position and that their arms are put in the "hug hold." The only reason I did not give this swaddler all 5 stars was because my daughter quickly grew out of it. After 2 weeks she wasn't able to fit in it anymore and we had to go to the next size. I just wish the small could have lasted us longer.

I recieved the Ergobaby swaddler set a few months ago and have been using it with my daughter when I put her to bed for the night. Without the swaddler blanket she will not sleep through the night! It is so easy to put her in it and she looks so comfortable! Even my husband is able to swaddle her for bedtime now! :-D The only reason why I rated for 4/5 stars is because my daughter somehow finds out how to wiggle her one arm free every night, and I have to re do the swaddle to get her back to sleep. Thank you Ergobaby!!

The sizing runs small. My 2 month old (22" and 11.5 lbs) could not fit the S/M swaddlers, so we used the M/L instead. The material is really soft and seems comfy. It's pretty thick and will be good for autumn, but not great for summer. My baby does sleep for longer stretches when we use these swaddlers and his little Houdini arms stay put- total wins!

This is a well-crafted and thoughtful swaddler. It is designed for my baby's comfort and crafted for my convenience when having to change diapers. It is the most practical swaddler on the market.

Admittedly, I'm not much of a swaddler. When we do swaddle it's with a muslin or receiving blanket because it means baby needs comforting quickly. While this swaddler looks like it has all the great features, I just couldn't get it to work for us. Even when I tried to put her in when she was fairly calm, it didn't look right at all and did nothing, but amuse my astonishingly patient (at least for that experiment) baby. It also is quite thick and I worry about overheating since it won't allow for much in terms of layering and will therefore require several outfit changes. For me, it's a pass.

The nurses at the hospital showed us various ways to swaddle our daughter with a blanket. However, my 6 week old has always managed to free herself from it by moving her arms and legs. Because she was so good at getting out of her swaddle, she would wake herself up at night by flailing her arms around. We use the product primarily at night to help her sleep better and it has been working very well. I highly recommend it.

Our son is 3 weeks old and loves to be swaddled. I love these swaddlers because he doesn't wiggle out of them and I don't have to worry about the wrap getting loose and covering his face. The material is super soft too (softer than other swaddlers we were given). I would definitely recommend these swaddlers.

I have been using these swaddlers since my son was born and they are truly a great product. Love the material. My son was born during a heat wave and I was worried about overheating him while he was swaddled. The Ergo swaddlers are made of 100% cotton, they are super soft, wash well and are perfect for layering over just a diaper or a sleeper when it starts getting cold. My son is 2 months, almost 11 lbs, & in the 75th percentile for height and he has not broken free yet! I cannot say the same about the other brand swaddlers we have tried (Halo, Blankets & Beyond). The design is very clever and I love that I do not have to unswaddle his arms for a diaper change.

I bought this for my 10 week old and he is too long for it. I bought the M/L and while I really like the way it keeps his arms tucked in, it's just not long enough and the Velcro opened too easily.

My baby loves to be held, all the time, and wouldn't stay asleep long if she wasn't being held, so I wanted to try swaddling her. We got some cheap swaddlers at Target but she always managed to get her arms out. Additionally, several times I found her with the fabric of the swaddler working it's way up over her face. I was afraid to use them at all anymore for fear that she'd suffocate. We decided to try again with these swaddlers and I LOVE them! The little arm flaps keep her arms secure so that she can't work them out, and the design of the swaddler prevents the fabric from ever working it's way up over her face. I can put her down while she's swaddled and she'll stay sleeping for hours. We're excited to finally find something that works. We also plan on using them when we are camping to make sure she stays warm without the risk of using a lot of additional, thick bedding. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Sleep at Last!

I cannot say enough good things about the Swaddler. I received it when my daughter was about a month old, and she was already in the M/L size because she was a big baby. We had tried a few other swaddlers prior to this one, but she managed to escape out of them easily and they didn't encourage any additional sleeping. The first night we used the Ergobaby Swaddler, she slept for her longest stretch since she was born -- 5 hours! We've used it every night since (it's been too warm during the day to swaddle her in this) and she has been sleeping longer, more peaceful stretches each time. It's wonderful that you can easily change diapers without having to completely unwrap her, and that the hip placement is where it should be (I had no idea that regular swaddling meant poor hip placement!). I wish these had been around when my son was an infant! Definitely the best swaddler on the market.

Best not perfect

This has been the best swaddler I have used ( and I have used many different ones). However is not perfect and it could be with a minor design change. The hand that just goes under the baby and is not holded by Velcro always manages to get loose. I would make it so that each hand is restricted by Velcro so the baby has a hard time taking the hand out. My daughter is 3 months.

We got a lot of different swaddlers as gifts and hand me downs, and this is by far the best. In fact we don't even bother with any other swaddler now. The ability to change the diaper without removing the swaddler is really great in the middle of the night when you don't want him to fully wake up. Also since we have a strong wiggly baby, this is the only brand that will stay on him for more than a few minutes. Highly recommended!

Only Swaddler That Works

I was given a set of these swaddlers before our son was born, as well as a number of different types of swaddlers and swaddling blankets. The Ergo swaddlers are the only ones that my son doesn't wriggle out of - the inner arm flap really helps and the velcro is stronger than other brands. They are also really easy to put on and I love that I can change his diaper without releasing his arms (great for night time changings.) We actually bought a second set so could be sure to always have a clean one at hand. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

I bought this swaddler for my two month old baby. It is a size medium/large. He is already too long for it, but not wide enough for it to stay in place. It is a great concept, but needs some adjustments to allow for the bottom strsp to accommodate larger babies.

Loved this swaddle for 2 months, needs improvement
By Lauryn

We have been using this swaddle for about 6 weeks now. Our son was small at birth (6.6 lbs) and swaddle blankets worked better for those first 2 weeks. Once he gained some more weight, we loved using our Ergo Swaddler. He is now 8 weeks old and is able to break out of it. The velcro isn't as sticky, and the seams where the velcro is sewn, have started to curl making it even less effective. There needs to be a better way to secure it. Snaps, maybe? Also, as the temperatures are starting to warm up, if he cries for a bit he is a sweaty mess. Temps here in April range, but we have had some 70-80 degree days and the swaddle is too warm. I think offering a lighter weight fabric option would be helpful as well!

Perfect for little Houdinis

My first son was able to break out of every swaddler I tried. I also didn't like pinning him arms at his side. This swaddler lets their hands and arms rest in a more natural position but without the issue of them breaking free. I also love how the hip positioner secures the arm material so it won't move up around their face. Very happy with this one.

Great idea but needs some perfecting!

This swaddler is an awesome concept. Our son was able to break out of it right away though so I sewed the wings to the blanket flaps leaving a pocket to put his arms in, solved the issue. Also our little one needs a tight wrap so I cut the bottom off of regular swaddlers and so he is double wrapped. Or we put him in our Woombie swaddler along with the Ergo and he does great. Like I said great swaddler just needed a little tweaking for our son

My son really likes to be swaddled. When he outgrew his blanket swaddles I ordered the ergo swaddler. He hated it from day one. He didn't like that his arms were across his chest. It's also cumbersome to use and when I tried to put him in it while he had fallen asleep in my arms, he would wake up every time. I'm really disappointed because I had high hopes for this product.

I thought this product would be a great idea since the swaddle has pockets you can actually place the babies arms in but what happens is that the arms still come out of the swaddle because there are not enough places for the Velcro and when it comes out the arms are still in the fabric so my babies face was smothered in fabric. I would prefer a regular swaddle where if the arms come out there is no fabric to smother them.
