the back side of the mat didn't grip on fabric liner of the backseat. Just need to pin the carseat and the mat down together. Not recommended.

I got this to help keep the car seats from sliding around on our leather seats. Greatly reduced the movement so the car seats were snugly installed. Slight movement, but within acceptable limits for proper installation. Also helps keep the seats clean from crumbs and other crusties that come with kids in cars 😜.
