UPPAbaby Vista Strollers

The UPPAbaby Vista stroller delivers for families that want one setup that can handle more than one stage of growth/parenthood. The UPPAbaby Vista starts as a full-size single stroller, works with newborn accessories and infant car seats, and can then convert for two or even three children with the right UPPAbaby add-ons.

The current flagship model is the UPPAbaby Vista V3. It delivers the same big reasons parents have always liked the Vista: a smooth push, a large storage basket, a full-size toddler seat, strong stroller-to-car-seat compatibility, and plenty of room to build out the setup as your family changes. The new V3 also brings updated comfort and convenience features, which include an All-Weather Comfort Seat, Enhanced FlexRide Suspension, a magnetic buckle, a no-rethread harness, and a one-step self-standing fold.

Here at Albee Baby, our Vista collection includes Vista V3 strollers, travel system bundles, double stroller bundles, twin stroller setups, and Vista-compatible accessories. The Vista V2 may still show up through remaining inventory or accessories, and we try to make that purchase more affordable, but the Vista V3 is the model to start with if you are shopping for a new Vista today.

What Is the UPPAbaby Vista?

The UPPAbaby Vista is UPPAbaby’s full-size expandable stroller. It is designed for parents who want one main stroller that can start with one child and later adapt for siblings, twins, or an older child riding along on a board.

There is also the UPPAbaby Cruz, which can get confusing. The Cruz is the streamlined single stroller. Vista is the expandable stroller (if you want the option to add another seat, bassinet, infant car seat, or PiggyBack board later). The Vista V3 works as a single stroller out of the box. Add a Bassinet, Infant SnugSeat, or UPPAbaby infant car seat for newborn use. Add a RumbleSeat for a second child. Add the PiggyBack Ride-Along Board if an older child needs a place to stand during longer walks.

This is why the Vista is such a popular stroller. You just do not have to know every future seating arrangement you'll want on day one.

Why Parents Choose the UPPAbaby Vista V3

Expandability. You get one stroller that's going to last for all kinds of scenarios, including having more kids or having twins. If your sister is having a baby at the same time, you have the stroller that will hold both kids. And if one kid is all you have, the Vista works for that, too. And it's luxury. The Vista V3 offers more than 30 configurations with the right accessories. It can work with a toddler seat, bassinet, infant car seat, RumbleSeat, and PiggyBack board in different combinations.

The push experience is another reason parents recommend the Vista. The Enhanced FlexRide Suspension helps smooth out daily walks, even when the stroller is carrying more than one child. The never-flat tires are built for everyday sidewalks and other terrain that's less than ideal.

The basket is also a serious feature. It holds up to 30 pounds, which gives you room for a diaper bag, jackets, snacks, small grocery runs, and all the extra things that come with leaving the house with kids.

The Vista V3 also improves the everyday seat experience. The All-Weather Comfort Seat uses a Seasonal Seat Liner for cooler days and can convert to mesh for warmer days. The harness is no-rethread, the buckle is magnetic, the canopy extends for more coverage, and the handlebar adjusts with one hand. It's not magic, but it feels like it is.

How to Choose the UPPAbaby Vista Setup that's Right For You

UPPAbaby Vista V3 Stroller

Choose the Vista V3 stroller if you want the main full-size stroller setup and plan to choose any newborn, car seat, or sibling accessories separately.

The Vista V3 stroller includes the frame, toddler seat, Seasonal Seat Liner, bumper bar, toddler seat bug shield, toddler seat rain shield, and toddler seat storage bag. The toddler seat is for babies 3 months and up, up to 50 pounds. For newborn use, add the Infant SnugSeat, Bassinet, or a compatible infant car seat.

This setup is ideal if you want the current Vista model but do not need the bassinet, car seat, or RumbleSeat included from the start.UPPAbaby Vista V3 + BassinetChoose a Vista V3 + Bassinet bundle if you want the newborn bassinet setup included from the beginning.

This is the route many parents prefer for newborns. The bassinet gives your baby a flat place to rest during strolls, and it clicks onto the Vista frame. If you expect a lot of neighborhood walks in the first few months, this bundle is worth a close look.

As mentioned above, the standard Vista V3 stroller does not include the bassinet. That is one of the biggest differences from the Vista V2 era, and it is worth knowing before you compare bundles.

UPPAbaby Vista V3 Travel Systems

Choose a Vista V3 travel system if you want the stroller and infant car seat together. UPPAbaby infant car seats such as Mesa and Aria attach directly to the Vista, which makes the car-to-stroller setup easier to manage.

For longer newborn walks, many parents still prefer using the bassinet.

Check each travel system listing before buying. With multiple car seats available with travel-system compatibility, our bundle contents can change by color, car seat model, and inventory.

UPPAbaby Vista V3 Double Stroller/Twin Setup Bundles

Choose a Vista V3 double bundle if you already know you need seating for two children. These setups usually include the Vista stroller plus the RumbleSeat or other accessories needed for a second child.

Vista V2 and Vista Accessories

The Vista V2 is the older model, and it may still appear through remaining inventory, open box listings, or compatible accessories. The V2 is still relevant for families who already own one and need accessories. It's always been a great stroller and the V2 will come in at a lower price. The main thing to know is that Vista V2 and Vista V3 listings are not identical. The Vista V2 stroller package included a bassinet. The standard Vista V3 stroller does not include the bassinet unless you choose a bundle that adds it. Always check the product page so you know exactly what comes in the box. Speaking of the V2 . . .

UPPAbaby Vista V3 vs. Vista V2

The Vista V3 is the current flagship model. The Vista V2 is the previous generation. Both are amazing strollers. The biggest shopping difference is the bassinet. Vista V2 came with the bassinet in the standard stroller package. Vista V3 does not include the bassinet in the standard stroller package, so parents who want that newborn setup should choose a bassinet bundle or add the bassinet separately.

Vista V3 includes the newer All-Weather Comfort Seat, Seasonal Seat Liner, Enhanced FlexRide Suspension, magnetic buckle, no-rethread harness, reflective wheel and basket trim, and the updated V3 styling.

UPPAbaby Vista vs. Cruz

This is easy--choose the Vista if you want the option to expand. Choose Cruz if you want a premium single stroller in a smaller frame. The Cruz is a good fit for families who want one stroller for one child and do not expect to add a second stroller seat later. It has a smaller footprint than the Vista and works well as a full-size everyday stroller.

The Vista is the better fit if you want room for a second seat, twin-style setups, or a PiggyBack board for an older child. It is larger, but that larger frame is what allows the Vista to handle more seating options.

UPPAbaby Vista vs. Minu

Again, it's the expandability theme. Choose Vista if you want a full-size stroller that can expand for more children. Choose Minu if you want a compact stroller for travel, small trunks, airports, restaurants, and lighter errands. These two are notably different strollers for different purposes.

The Vista is the family stroller. The Minu is the smaller travel stroller. Many parents eventually own both, but if you are choosing one main stroller for newborn through toddler use with possible sibling expansion, Vista is the stronger starting point.

Cleaning and Care

The Vista is built for daily use, but daily use still means dirt, crumbs, stroller wheels, and the occasional mystery stain.

Clean the frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then dry it thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners. If the frame is exposed to salt water, rinse it with fresh water and dry it to help prevent corrosion.

The Vista V3 seat and Seasonal Seat Liner can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle with mild detergent. Dry flat and away from direct sunlight. The basket fabric can be spot cleaned or hand washed in cold water. The canopy fabric and leather bumper bar cover should be spot cleaned with a damp cloth.

Do not fold or store the stroller while it is damp or wet. Check brakes, wheels, harnesses, locks, screws, and other hardware regularly.
