We teamed up with safety experts to design a sturdy crib with soft mesh sides for great air flow and no hard bars for your baby to bump into. The specially tailored mattress is integrated into the crib's sides, eliminating any risk of babies getting caught between slats nor the mattress. Plus, all materials that touch your baby's skin meet the OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Class 1 for baby products, meaning they're super gentle and safe to taste.

When can I start using the baby crib for my baby?

Right from day one. You can use the crib from when your baby is a newborn all the way up to 2 years old. The mattress is adjustable to two different heights, so it's perfect whether you have a tiny newborn or a slightly bigger baby.

Do I need to purchase a mattress separately?

No, the crib comes with both an integrated inner mattress and custom crib mattress topper designed specifically for the BabyBjörn Baby Crib. You do not need to purchase a crib mattress separately.

Are there sheets that fits the crib?

Yes, each crib comes with a fitted sheet made from soft, organic cotton, that is specially tailored to fit the crib. 

How do I wash the crib textiles?

The fabric siding is super easy to remove and you can just toss it in the washing machine at 104°F/40°C. The mattress topper cover is machine washable at 104F°/40°C too.

Washing Instructions

The crib fabric is easy to remove and can be machine washed at 104°F/40°C. Please use a mild, eco-certified detergent and follow the dosage instructions carefully. Let the crib fabric air dry. Avoid tumble drying, as it may affect the fabric quality.

The mattress topper cover is also machine washable at 104F°/40°C and can be tumble dried.

The crib sheet is machine washable at 140°F/60°C. Let the sheet air dry. Avoid tumble drying, as it may affect the fabric quality.

You can easily unfasten the entire front section of the baby carrier to lift out your sleeping baby. The soft fabrics gently hug your baby’s back, legs and hips, and provide good support. You can check your newborn’s position and the natural C-curve of their back with your hands through the fabric.

Most suitable during your baby’s first months. Tested and safe for 0–1 years (min. 7 lbs/3.2 kg, max. 25 lbs/11 kg).

Your baby should be at least five months old and weigh no more than 24 lbs/11 kg to use the facing-out position. The leg straps should be used to reduce the size of the leg openings for babies weighing between 7 lbs/3.2 kg and 10 lbs/4.5 kg.
