What is Open Box?

Open-box items are brand-new finds that were simply returned or had their box opened along the way. We lovingly inspect each one to make sure it’s complete, safe, and ready for a second chance at a happy home, although some may show small cosmetic imperfections that don’t affect use.

Where Do They Come From?

Our open-box treasures come from a few different places. Some are items that were returned unused, some were opened for photos or videos, and others arrived in boxes that got a little scuffed up. No matter where they come from, each one is fresh, complete, and ready for its new adventure with you.

Open-box purchases include a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. Please note, these items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

The OneFit™ Max ClearTex® All-in-One Car Seat fits your child, vehicle and life – maximizing child comfort from birth through booster. OneFit™ Max includes the Chicco-exclusive LeverLock® Self-Tensioning Lock System for forward-facing installation plus maximized features for enhanced fit, comfort and convenience. OneFit™ Max easily transitions from a rear-facing harness to forward-facing harness to booster as your child grows. Its slim, space-saving design fits easily into your vehicle without compromising comfort for your growing child.

Featuring ClearTex® flame retardant-free materials, OneFit™ Max ClearTex® is GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions, contributing to healthier air quality around your child.

Maximized Child Fit

Designed for superior child comfort, OneFit™ Max provides 20% more rear-facing legroom (compared to other OneFit™ car seats) and multiple recline options in every mode of use. With the widest range of height adjustments among all-in-one car seats, the easy-adjust headrest system adjusts with the harness to grow with your child.

Maximized Vehicle Fit

For rear-facing installation, OneFit™ Max includes premium LATCH connectors and a SuperCinch® force multiplying tightener. RideRight™ bubble levels work in tandem with the 8-position ReclineSure™ leveling system to provide improved vehicle fit and child comfort.

For forward-facing installation, OneFit™ Max features the innovative LeverLock® Self-Tensioning Lock System. LeverLock® provides a secure forward-facing vehicle seat belt install with minimal effort, ensuring reliable stability over time. Installation is as simple as open-route-close. Easily access the LeverLock® compartment by unsnapping the seat pad. Open and rotate the LeverLock® handle to release the handle. Route, buckle and thread the vehicle seat belt using the easy-access belt guides, then close the handle.

With its slim design and space-saving features, OneFit™ Max takes up less space in the backseat without compromising comfort. The two CupFolders™ conveniently fold in when not in use to maximize space.

The flex-forward crotch buckle stays out of the way for easy child loading and harness pockets keep straps and buckles contained until ready for use. The quick-secure magnetic chest clip offers easy in and out without the fuss.

ClearTex® products meet federal car safety flammability standards without flame retardant chemical treatments. ClearTex® extends to all softgoods that surround your child: fabric, foam and inserts –even labels—for peace of mind from head to toe.

Built for Protection

OneFit™ Max includes a steel-reinforced shell and sculpted EPP energy-managing foam. A removable newborn positioner supports infants weighing 5-11 lbs.

Featuring Advanced Side Impact Protection (ASIP), OneFit™ Max is engineered to meet the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard FMVSS 213a – Side Impact.
