I bought my pack & play in 2012 when I had my first baby, after my 3rd child in 2017, one of the boards broke & I purchased this replacement mattress - it fits perfectly in my pack & play - I only wished that I could choose the color(my original was brown/tan, this only came in black/grey), though I suppose I could put the new boards into the old pad :)

Our portacribs are hand me downs. One board was busted in the Lullaby so I got a replacement for it. I also plan to use one in our older Graco portacrib because the Chicco fits perfectly i it as well!!!

I saw the reviews before ordering and I have to say, I really did not experience any of the negative issues I read about it. The fit was perfect. That being said, I do have the model number listed to fit so perhaps if you don't, you may experience a poor fit. Another negative comment was regarding only needing one replacement board not the whole pad. I agree it is unfortunate the boards are not individually sold. However, considering why one of my boards broke, it will benefit me in the end to have some extra boards laying around. The negative comments led to my husband trying to fix the board on his own, which worked temporarily. After the one he fixed broke again I went ahead and ordered the pad regardless of the comments and I'm glad I did!

Why would they sell you a replacement that is not the correct size? It's smaller in length and this is just irritating. Would love to know why chicco does this!

I washed this mattress cover and it is so lumpy that I won't be able to use it anymore because I don't want my baby to sleep on it for naps. I will have to throw it away so I'll have to order a new one.

It's not the same one that came with my pack and play and it's smaller.

If your reading this chances are one of your play yard boards are broken, the cotton in the mattress is bunched up or you just want an extra mattress. Hopefully you're my third example. This is the second time one of the wood boards have cracked on us. Unfortunatly I have to spend $38 buying an entire mattress and boards because Chicco will not replace or allow me to buy one board. Great play pen put this is a big downside to the product. Hopefully Chicco improve and use a better quality wood/ product eventually.

Bought two of these and I washed them according to the product directions and both mats are now extremely lumpy after just one wash.
