Chicco Kidfit Zip LUXE 2-in-1 Belt Positioning Booster Car Seat - Dolce

So far so good! Installs quickly and the kids love it!

Standard high-back booster. It's nice a slim width wise, easy for my preschooler and elementary kids to use all on their own! Easy to secure with LATCH, love the quick zip feature so I can easily remove the fabric and clean in the washer...my son has had a couple accidents in it and it's a breeze to clean up! It's also totally safe to use without the zip fabric attached! (We've had to remove it because of an accident and he just sat on the nice clean fabric below).

My kids all enjoy riding in the "big kid seat". No one complains about it being hot in the summer or cold in the winter. I have removed the leg rest and back to take just the base on domestic trips where I had a car rental. I felt safe using it this way because there was a seat belt clip that comes out of the base and attaches at the shoulder so the cross body part of the seatbelt is held at the correct height.

I have only used Chicco car seats up until now, including the Keyfit rear facing, Nextfit convertible rear to front facing, MyFit 5 point harness booster, and now this. The latch connect system on all of these make it relatively easy to transfer the car seats between cars. I say relatively, because the NextFit and MyFit still weigh a ton.

The leg rest is fairly useless, but doesn't bother the kids. It does get in the way when someone in the other seat is trying to get in or out of the car, but then you can just flip it up on the seat. The snack holder is also a perfect projectile for when the kids are trying to get your attention. Luckily it holds practically nothing, so nothing spills out. I wish they made a version of the air without the snack holder and without the leg rest, but I'm ok paying the small premium for the air feature, since I was previously paying the same to get a third party product to do the same thing. It was a "3D air" plastic mesh cushion that goes on top the of seat.

Overall, I think the basic high back booster seat is every effective and the ability to break it down to just a regular booster (with seatbelt clip) is very handy. The air back feature is just the cherry on top.

The seat is great! easy to install and "super comfy." The Q collection fabric blended perfectly with the interior of my Audi Q5. I was afraid that the leg extension would be too long as I sit her in the middle, however plenty of room. The back will grow and expand to suit a taller child. Though the back reclines, I do wish that it did not I'm off so easily, no this is for reclining purposes and will not come off by itself unless there is force to flatten then remove. Please note that the instructions doesn't specify reclining feature, so if it "clicks back" while carrying or installing, it is purely by design.

We have been very pleased with this high back booster. My kid is able to buckle themselves in.
We do not use the extra piece under legs unless maybe for long trips. The snack holder does not stay in so we have taken that out.

My 3 and 5 year olds love being in these car seats because they feel like grownups! They use the regular seatbelt strap and can unbuckle themselves when we get anywhere. It’s easy to install, even easier than the convertible seats.

Chicco “fit” series car seats are never a let down. We’ve been using them for years! My son is 6 now and wanted to sit in a big kid seat without the harness. This seat worked perfect and the snack holder was a plus for us. The only thing I wish they had was the zip off feature for easier cleaning with the booster series.

My daughters legs were going numb from hanging down on her car seat- this leg support is fantastic and she is much more comfortable during car rides.

We now have two of these. One for each vehicle and/or for hauling extra kids. Our daughter loves it. The foot rear is her favorite. I put it on for a long car ride and she was so comfy. I took it off when we got back and she begged to keep it on. Really like the reclining option. Took me a while to figure it out. Recline the car’s seat and the booster will recline with it. Now her head doesn’t flop when she falls asleep. She loves the cup holders. I love that it unzips time clean. It does feel really flimsy, but I like that it’s lightweight. We have had Britax convertible car seats before this so it is a very nice change for removal. It does rattle and is noisy if there is no child in it. You are suppose to buckle it when not in use. This is minor and is worth the hassle as we really like the seat. We recommend!

As with other Chicco seats, the KidFit was painless to install. Attaching the leg rest required a bit more work as it wasn't actually explained in the instructions (just an insert with how remove all fabric).
Overall it looks great and feels solid. The fabric feels soft but durable and wiped off easy from the mud that has already gotten on it.

My little one says it looks "cool" and it's "comfy". He is amused by the snack holder that comes with this model and likes storing cars in it.

I also like that the cup holders fold in for extra space.
I would easily recommend this to others.

This is a great booster! I should start by saying my son is all around big for his age hes 4 almost 5, 48lbs close to 4ft. I base car seats on comfort (padding, material and roomy) and safety, they have to have both no exceptions.
The straps on his car seat were too tight and not high enough so I started looking for boosters. I bought an evenflo XLT and was shocked at how flimsy it was and the lack of padding both for comfort and SIP. I immediately searched for one that was more comfortable and sturdier.
I've never owned a Chicco product, so didn't know what to expect. The material and padding is way better (I think most boosters are lacking), it roomy enough now to where I know we won't outgrow it, (being squished in a car sucks for anyone!) the frame is way stronger (I can't bend it around) the SIP looks like it will shield a head and neck (I realize I'm no expert). The 2 cup holders are excellent plus with this LUXE version the snack holder is amazing and the leg rest changes the game, you go from coach to first class 😎 I did order a seat belt strap pillow on Amazon - it goes over the seat belt so when they fall asleep they don't end up slumped forward, sideways or down. Assembly was simple I saw people complaining I don't understand how or why. Its light enough to transfer if you must, I try to avoid this task with my life, I've never been a fan! I keep an older backless booster $10 handy.

So I can say without a doubt I would recommend this booster to anyone, i would rebuy this. Your child won't be disappointed!

I found the right car seat booster to adapt to all the growing grandchildren! This model is comfortable, well-padded, stylish, easily adjustable for the varying heights of the children, easy to install and easy to remove! I wanted the head / neck protection and the high back provides that.

Nice Chicco design and fabric. Especially love the leg rest, zip fabric and cubby. Plastic construction and snug fit without anchor strap are a bit concerning for safety vs. previously owned MyFit or KeyFit.

Easy to install and daughter just loves it. Small pillow to lean on for long trips works well for sleeping.

We love chicco seats! I was not ready for my daughter to move to a booster seat, but she was exceeding weight/height limitations on her convertible seat. I like that this one latches at least! My daughter is comfortable and happy in the seat, never complains. This seat is replacing one just like after we were involved in an accident...she didn’t budge in the accident! I’m sold on it!

We have always had Chicco car seats and love their products. This has been a good product as well so far and easy to set up and use. We use it it the rear center seat that does not have the latches so the seat belt is what holds our child in place. It would be nice to have an option to keep the booster secure to the seat even for our center seat but with a Honda Fit that is not an option.

Great booster seat so far, as we have only owned it for a few weeks. Good quality fabrics and cushioning, and my daughter loves the leg cushion as well. Easy to install. Would recommend.

We love this seat. I was easy to assemble and put in the car. My son loves the extra bin to store all of his legos in! Although I don't look forward to having to wash the cover, I am thankful for the zippered cover which will make the task a lot easier when the time comes.

The Chicco booster has a lot of padding in the seat and around the head. It is easy to install and easy to adjust the height to the child. Great price, free shipping and fast delivery. I ordered 2 of them for my grandkids and they love them. They can buckle themselves up like everyone else!

We recently purchased this booster seat at a great sale price for our son as his first one to graduate from the five point harness stage. We like everything about it from the fabric, styling and how it fits in our 2018 Honda Pilot and he loves having two cup holders and how comfy it is. Our only problem is when he falls asleep his head either falls forward or completely over to the side as the headrest isn’t very deep and doesn’t support his head very well. I’m on the hunt now for a better seat and we plan to use this one as a backup.

I have never shopped at Albeebaby before but the first experience was very positive! The price on this booster seat was the best I found. The item was delivered with no problems! Daughter in law and son were moving the one booster seat back and forth between their cars. I bought this booster seat for my car but since I am not there full time I let the seat go in my sons vehicle.Now my son has a booster seat for his car which I will use when I am visiting them - UNLESS I order another - which I'mprobably will if I can get such a great price in a couple of months!

The Chicco brand seems to get good ratings from professionals and their car seats are recommended by the IIHS. This car seat is good, but I think it could be better quality. I've always bought Britax and think I'll stick with Britax.

I never heard of Albee Baby before this purchase but I am so glad I found them. Excellent shipping time (I think 2-3 days); great product, best price on the internet (that I found). I am so happy my child is safe and comfortable. Albee Baby communicates well via email every step of the way. I'm a new but loyal customer as this is my new go-to for my children's needs.

My daughter loves her new booster seat. She says its comfy and have no trouble with seatbelt getting stuck. This was easy to clean and assemble.

I was really excited about this seat bc of the leg rest. My daughter has a lot of medical problems and I thought it would be great for her pain. I am continuing for customer service to write me back to return it. My daughter rides with her legs on each side of the leg rest instead of on it. When she falls asleep , she wakes us screaming crying bc her legs are hyperextended on each side of the leg rest. I was really hoping it would be a game changer for her but its not. I love Chicco and that is all I buy so I will be sending this back for the MyFit harness booster.

Love the booster seat. My daughter was thrilled to be moved to a "big girl seat" and is excited because she can see more than in her car seat but I still have the peace of mind knowing all the safety features. I like that it anchors to the seat so it's not sliding around when she's trying to get in and out and also when she's not in the seat it is still attached. The only downfall I can find so far is that I constantly knock the console out of the cup holder when I buckle her in but i can live with that. Chicco has great products!!

WE have 2 chicco kid fit's but this is the first ZIP. Love the zip for ease of cleaning. Def worth the extra money. The only part I did not like about it is the snack cup holder, cumbersome (big) and takes up a lot of space in a car when you have 3 carseats across the truck! But luckily it can be removed and just have the normal cup holder.

I bought this seat for my 5 yr old and he loves it. It seems to have a softer padding than most seats. It's easy for him to put his seatbelt on thanks to the guide that holds it in place. I also love that it uses the latch system. Makes the seat more secure. Chicco seems to be a great product. Also, Albee baby has super fast shipping which is great!!

We have a similar carseat from Recaro and were looking to purchase another for another car but those are no longer sold in the US. We tried this one out and so far so good. I especially like having the ability to tighten/loosen the belt that latches the carseat. Our other carseat did not have this feature. The kids also really enjoy having the compartment to store crayons, snacks, etc.

Well I got to enjoy this for a few weeks. Such a quality car seat and beautiful color and we have a convertible and it was stolen. Hopefully they needed it more than us. Ordering a second one and hoping to have better luck!

This product is great for my three year old. It is lightweight, modular, and comes with the detachable tray which makes it very versatile. My daughter is proud of her new big girl seat!

We were excited to transition our five year old daughter to a booster but were concerned with losing the side-impact safety elements. Our first step was reviewing the IIHS ratings and this Chicco Kidfit Zip was rated "best" for both the high-back and base, something we couldn't find in the Britax line that we've used since our children were newborns. Our daughter is happy with her new seat and feels like a big kid! Our only issue is that the headrest in our Yukon does rub with the high-back and squeaks occasionally. Other than that, we're very happy with this purchase and look forward to using it for our younger daughter when she's ready!

I ordered this for my 4 yr old. Love how well it's made. Love the fact I can tether it the seat. Overall I'm very pleased with it.

This is our second set of these car seats one in wife's car and one in mine. The kids love them and the little storage compartment is a huge hit and no complaints on comfort.

Love this booster, it seems to be a lot cozier than other boosters I've seen. Light weight, easy to take in and out of the car and the latch anchor works well! The seat does not slide all over the place. Beware, the little snack holder does not stay put! Or if it usually does mine does not. Other than that a great seat!
