sunshade is terrible!

sunshade magnets are a joke - constantly come unstuck and flap about. when sun shade is pulled back, that magnets and material flop in the babys face... makes for a great way to wake up a sleeping baby!

While there are almost endless newborn car seats on the market, it was an easy choice to make in selecting the Turtle Air for our family. I found comfort in the safety features and thoughtful design of the Turtle Air. It was important to find something that was lightweight and easy for everyone to carry- grandparents included! The base of the car seat is very sturdy and feels secure once installed, which provides immense peace of mind. I love the sleek, thoughtful design and the beautiful soft fabrics. I also love how easily the Turtle Air attaches to my Fox3. As new parents, we want to make sure we're doing everything right and the Turtle Air leaves us feeling like our baby is completely safe.

I love this car seat for our baby! It is so much more padded compared to other brands we've used, and it feels very solid. The sleeping canopy is perfect. I love that she gets shaded but still gets too airflow. I don't love that you have to use your thumbs to release from the stroller, though. There's been times when my thumbs were too weak to press down hard enough and lift up the car seat at the same time. Overall it's great though, and I trust baby is very safe in there.

Excited to bring our baby home in this car seat. It is very sturdy and feels very secure in base. The function of the harness straps are very easy to use and adjust. We love the privacy shield also. Only thing we were not happy with is the handle has a hard time passing over the canopy, so it makes the handle hard to adjust.

Not a Bugaboo

Very disappointed in the overall build and functionality of the turtle one. It is not built or designed to the level and quality I am used to from every other bugaboo I have purchased. I previously had a cyber cloud that I connected to my bugaboo which was built much better and even integrated better with my bugaboo stroller. I do not recommend.

I am SOO happy with my Turtle One car seat and LOVE that it's compatible with our Bugaboo Fox 2 Stroller.  We shopped around and went into several baby retailers to ensure we were making the right decision on such an important purchase both safety wise and features we were looking for.  To add, the screen shade is so useful on walks on a really sunny day in TX.  Would highly recommend the Turtle One car seat!

We loved our turtle up until she outgrew the infant insert. Once we had to take that out, she was left with no head support. We ended up buying a convertible car seat at 4 months old. I wish there was a separate head and body cushion.. because she was being squeezed from the shoulders down, yet still needed the head pillow.

I bought this a few months before my baby was due and was a bit hesitant at first. There was a lack of reviews for this fairly new car seat but I went ahead and made the splurge. I do not regret it one bit. This car seat is very light weight and I love all of its extra features. The visor is extremely useful during these times. The car seat itself has gotten a lot of compliments including from my son's pediatrician. Overall I would definitely recommend this car seat to any person that owns a Bugaboo stroller. The car seat is very nice and works well. It's a bit uncunfortable to have to carry the adarpter to put on the donkey 3 stroller and with it, you don't get though a lot of doos.
The other thing to consider is how much space it takes on your back seat. I never thought my husband could not use the SUV we have on the position he normally uses because of the car seat.
It's easy to dismantle to throw in the wash.

Loving the Turtle One car seat, just changed over from a Graco car seat for my new born and it was beyond worth it.
Even before placing my new born in the turtle one I could tell how comfortable the car seat was just by the way the padding felt.

It also had a very secure feeling once placing my new born in the turtle one... less body movement and great neck and head support made me personally feel more comfortable knowing he's so secure yet he's still comfortable in his car seat.

I loved that the car seat shade had a nice touch with the magnetic straps... didn't have to worry about messing with loud buttons or loud Velcro to seal the baby's shade when he's sleeping. And the shade it self is a very thick durable material that does it's job to provide a great amount of shade!

All in all the car seat is really light weight compared to our previous car seat and other car seats we held at the store when trying to decide on the right one. Now adding the weight of a baby to the seat we for sure know this was a great choice. Transitioning the car seat from our vehicle to the stroller is a very simple task for me to handle by myself without worry! The clean chic look of the car seat just adds to the all around great things about this car seat.
