Bugaboo Turtle Infant Car Seat by Nuna - Black

Have been using this for three weeks now and it's so handy and convenient, also purchase the adapters for the pram and it's been great being able to transition so smoothly from car to pram and then off we go!

Had this for a month now and makes the transition from our car to our apartment (and back) super easy. Also used with our Bugaboo Bee. Great product

I sold our old capsule and bought the Nuna when I investigated the safety ratings of the different capsules. It is a great car seat and works seamlessly with the Bugaboo Donkey.

I bought this for my grandchild love how the car seat can be used on the pram to transition baby from the car without disturbing him

Well made, baby hasn't come yet so not sure how it would work practically.

We love our bugaboo turtle by Nuna! It provides my husband and I piece of mind getting our daughter in and out of the car. The base is long and is suitable for a larger car. But we are extremely happy with it and are hoping it will last us 12months before upgrading to a car seat.

My child is 4 months old and I was hoping this seat would get more comfortable the older she got but it seems to be getting worse. The headrest is very awkward and it's hard to get her in and out of it, especially when she was a baby with no head control. It was hard and stiff and I found it unnecessarily difficult to lift her out of it. She looks like she's in an uncomfortable position no matter what adjustments I make and she screams every time she gets into it. The padding behind her head and neck area is almost non existent now that the infant insert has been taken out and it leaves a red mark on her head every time she's in the seat.
Considering how expensive this is, I'm so disappointed.
I've given two stars because it looks nice, works well with the pram (with adapters) and has a good safety rating but I would absolutely not spend the money on this again.

Every component of the item fits with the car perfectly, as well as to my Bee 6. Such a reliable item.

Recently purchased and am extremely impressed with the quality of this product.

The capsule looks fantastic and we like the features of the canopy with ventilation.
It's feels and looks extremely secure and we find it easy to get in and out of the pram and car.
However it is extremely bulky and we have to have the seat in front so far forward there is hardly any leg room. This is in a large 4WD.
We have had it in a BMW X5 and a Porsche Cayenne and have to same problem in both.
We also find it quite heavy and awkward to carry if not in the pram, this may be the case with all capsules.

Bought this as it fits into my pram for short trips to shops. Baby looks comfy in it and I'm happy with it so far. It does have a gap between the seat and the bar and the seat can lift up towards it. The installer said it's normal though so

Baby doesn't arrive until the end of Jan however so far happy, great quality and fits easily onto my Bugaboo fox!

I have been using this car seat for 7 months now and love how easy it is to use. I really appreciate how much the cover will shield my fair skinned son from the sun. We've also used the sunscreen to keep unwelcome visitors away. I wish that there were a way to stop the magnetized edges on the sunscreen from dropping down into my son's face though. Lastly, I don't feel that it is fair for people to poorly review this car seat because it isn't compatible with their stroller... The company CLEARLY stated that it is only compatible with the Fox stroller. Your review isn't about the car seat so much as it is about the company's decision on compatibility.

I just got the Bugaboo Turtle and love it. It's such a high-quality car seat. Chic, well-designed and durable. My baby is super comfortable in it and the shade is a wonderful extra feature to have. Awesome car seat all-in-all!

I bought this for my second baby and I LOVE IT!! the infant insert prevents the babys head from moving and the insert itself is very cushiony! the installation of the base is quick and easy with straightforward instructions.
baby sleeps well in the carseat snd the see through canopy is an added plus in the car.
The only downside is I dont understand why bugaboo usa doesnt release adapters to fit other strollers (such as donkey, cameleon and bee5) when europe does. i myself have a bee 5 and its a shame that i cant fit my turtle on it! sometimes i like to take my bee5 out just for the sake of easy folding, but obviously i have no choice but to take my fox. I am hoping that bugaboo releases adapters for other strollers very soon!!

I love the Brand.. But how come I have 3 different strollers and none of them can fit eh Turtle... Bee5, Cameleon... You have a product that fits most car seats but not your own... So you force the client to get the Fox? or you can't have the car seat!!! Not Cool! But I still love the quality of the strollers, love them all.

I'm extremely disappointed that this car seat does not have adaptors for older style strollers. We bought our Cameleon brand new and love it. A few weeks later the turtle came out and I fell in love with the style, quality and ease of use. Our baby is due in February and I really hope you will add adaptors for other strollers by then. I'd much prefer to purchase the Turtle than having to go to the Pipa for a simple compatibility oversight.

The quality of the car seat is great, but I had to return it because it only fits the new fox stroller. It is not adaptable to the older model strollers.

We were hit by a car going full speed and my son was thankfully secured tightly in the Bugaboo car seat with the 5 point harness. The seat kept him safe, and the plush fabric kept him comfortable on impact. We are Bugaboo fans for life! My #1 priority is safety and I feel so safe in any Bugaboo products. Thank you Bugaboo and Nuna for making a quality product!!

We are very disappointed in the U.S. version of this car seat. We love the Nuna Pipa and the Turtle takes it to the next level with matching colors to their strollers. We recently bought a Chameleon 3 Plus only to find out that the Bagaboo Turtle in the U.S. is not compatible, but in other countries the Turtle is compatible with all Bugaboo models. I am not sure why Bugaboo would do this and not have the option for a chameleon adapter in the U.S. like they do it all other countries. This 1 star review is not on the quality of the product itself, it is on the lack of compatibility. If you have a Fox or plan to get a Lynx then this is a great option.

This is so great, he's comfortable in it and it's simple to set up and attach/detach to both the car and the fox. I bought it for a second car because my main car has a dedicated car seat but I like it so much I'm taking out the dedicated car seat and putting an extra base in my other car.
