We have loved this seat! It is so easy to set up and switch from one vehicle to the next with the click tight system. We used it backwards facing until my son was 3, and now still use it forward facing as well. My only complaint is that the rebound bar does not stay attached well.

Aside from the obvious safety factor, I love the ease of installation with this seat. It’s a beast, a heavy seat, but installation is super easy.

It is sturdy and easy to install. My daughter likes to sit in this car seat.

My daughter has been using this car seat for over 1.5 years loves it. She is still rear facing at 3 years old and has quite a bit longer before she will need to be turned around. I love the ease of installation, cool flow material, and sturdy build. This seat is quite bulky, but well build and seems very safe. This is the only place my daughter will nap so it has also helped me keep my sanity. Well worth the money for that alone!

Overall, I feel this is the perfect convertible car seat and will continue to recommend it to everyone!

Easy to put in, comfortable, love the rebound bar feature

I needed a new car seat for my 9 month old who outgrew his infant seat. He's in the 99th percentile so I needed a seat with a tall height limit (since they typically outgrow height vs weight first). I knew I wanted him rear facing in the center position (no LATCH) for as long as possible. I chose this seat based on the 49" rear facing height limit and 40lb rear-facing weight limit, which should last us a long time. Britax seems to have a good safety reputation and I like that the seats are made in the US.

I purchased a model with the anti rebound bar and found that it installed easily. The padding seems very comfortable, though the crotch strap seems very short. We'll have to wait to see if that causes us any problems. The best part though is how easily this installs with the seatbelt. I was able to do it alone, it didn't require tugging and pulling while sitting on the seat, and after clicking down the ClickTight the seat barely budged a centimeter! I was seriously amazed. The seat seems solid and comfortable. I highly recommend!

We moved from the Nuna Pipa lite to the advocate with ARB when Baby started to outgrow the pipa. We love how the fabric (cool flow) seems to keep her cool, but I'm not a big fan of how it catches crumbs (I don't recommend eating in the car seat at all). At 12mo she was 20# and 26inches - right around the 50 percentile for both. She has ample room to grow in the advocate, and also has the ability to stretch her arms and legs when buckled in proper (I've had it inspected by a CPST). However, the seat just doesn't seem that compact to me. I drive a corolla (I'm 5'3") and have about 2" between my seat and the britax. Husband (5'9") drives a civic and we struggle to install this seat in his car at all. Perhaps it's because we have the ARB, but the ARB is one of the reasons I chose this seat, so whoever sits in his passenger seat nearly has their knees to their chest. We have installed it ok in the Civic w/o the ARB, but then that defeats the purpose of getting the bar altogether. We keep the seat in my car (the corolla), and are still looking for a seat for his car. Also, I don't like that I can't adjust the recline when the seat is installed. The recline mechanism is at the foot of the seat, and when installed is flush with the seat of the car. As such, to adjust the recline, I have to remove baby, uninstall seat, then adjust recline, then reinstall seat, and reinsert baby. It's just a lot of work when trying to get the right position - I wish the recline mechanism was on the side as in the Rava. I've also noticed that despite the "click" when tightening the harness, there's still a bit of fabric left that needs tightening. I find myself checking the tightness of her harness at every ride, and find myself no longer relying on the "click" when buckling her in. Essentially negating another 'safety feature' this seat comes with; not that one shouldn't double check anyways, but a feature of this seat is to 'click' when the harness is tight enough. Not to mention that I'm concerned other caretakers will hear the click, and not check her harness, only to have it be way too loose - thus making what is supposed to be a safety-feature a 'danger-feature'.

I do recommend this seat despite my dislikes. I did A LOT of researching before purchasing this seat (I was contemplating the Rava, after seeing it in store, settled on the Britax), and feel like it has the most safety features for the price. The ARB, impact absorbing pads on the harness, cool-flow fabric, and ease of install all seem to provide the best safety features of the available seats for the US.

This car seat is great! I did so much research before purchasing a carseat. The easiest car seat I’ve installed. The air flow technology is perfect for Texas summers. Multiple different reclining positions makes it easy for baby to be comfortable. Albee baby shipped the car seat almost immediately and I had it within a couple of days. Great service!

Bought one for my first little one. Loved it so much. Bought one for my second. Easy to use and Super comfy.
A little heavy but thats what makes it safer than most and is no price on knowing that your baby is safe.

Love our Britax advocate. My daughter is so comfortable in it. Love the click tight feature. The material is top notch and easy to clean.

We had the Britax Advocate ARB in the “Kate” pattern for my 18-month-old daughter already... so when we found out we were expecting our second child it was a no brainer to immediately buy another Advocate ARB! I thought the cool flow option was a great feature so we opted for that for his seat this time & really love it! I can’t say enough good things about Britax, their customer service is top notch & the Clicktight Technology makes installation so easy it’s unbelievable!

I did a lot of research on carseats when my twins outgrew their infant carriers. Consumer Reports and several other review sites recommended this Britax Advocate model. I've had it installed for a couple of weeks and so far we love them. The installation was pretty straight forward. They are much easier to get my babykins in and out of. The Clicktight harness is simple to use, and I love that it lets me know when I've got it snug enough.

The seats have several different recline levels, my twins are enjoying being more upright than they were before. I also purchased separately the Britax seat liner. It's waterproof and is supposed to help make cleaning up the car seat easier if there is a diaper or food spill situation.

I installed this rear-facing in captain chairs on a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and they fit on the seats well, with room to spare between the top of the headrest and the front row driver and passenger seats.

My brother-in-law is Nevada Highway Patrol and only reccomends Britax, so go with Britax! Myself and both sisters with their children have only used Britax Car Seats from convertible through booster for the last 15 years! They are solid, have a metal frame, and can withstand an impact. After being in an accident myself with my 6 month old twins, I wouldn't want them in anything else!

I haven’t had the chance to use this yet, but have installed it. It was rediculously heavy to get to my car and on the seat at 9 months pregnant. The install was pretty easy. Now to see how newborn fits in convertible seat...

This carseat is so easy to install! It looks adorable but most importantly, my daughter is safe and happy while in it! She was screaming every car ride in her infant seat so we moved her to this one (she’s 5 months old) she has stopped crying and even falls asleep while we are driving now. It is roomy and soft and super comfy! Very happy with this seat!

love this seat. was hit in an accident last month, side airbags went off, and car seat did not move. sturdy and safe. that said, it's heavy and cumbersome, but for safety, that matters less to us.

I love the car seat! My child was getting overheated in her Britax B-Safe car seat. So, I was glad to see the cool flow option when we upgraded to the convertible car seat. She seems much happier now. And, I feel like we can't go wrong with a Britax since they are always at the top of the safety ratings. While these are expensive car seats, it's a lot cheaper and more practical than buying a tank for us to drive around in. :)

The price is steep but I feel like my daughter is riding in a tank! I love this seat!! Very soft breathable fabric.. the straps get to the perfect tightness and the arb makes the seat extra safe and secure.

It looks in the first place expensive, but considering the high safety and long life span of the product it's a good investment.
The safety comes with a big price in space and weight. You may check it first if your car is small, especially in rear facing reclined position.
For this size and weight it's still very easy to install and operate, only the handle for the reclining is a little bit difficult to reach (we using it in a Honda Civic and it's just fits a little bit tight).
