My husband is a Paramedic so safety was a huge concern when choosing a seat. We really like that it clicks to tell us it is tight enough and seems to protect our daughter well. We tried to use it rear facing but it didn't work well in our vehicles because of the top tether.

We are satisfied with this seat. It definitely has safety in mind for our child. I would recommend this seat to anyone shopping for a good seat

We like this carseat, it feels sturdy, safe, and durable. LOVE the print! Just wish the straps would actually stick to the Velcro on sides of carseat to help get them out of the way when removing or putting child into or out of seat. Our daughter is 18months old and seems very comfy in it! Doesn't cry when we put her into this seat like she did a lot in her infant Chico key fit , although that was rear facing as well which I think she hated. Overall nice carseat and safe which is our priority. Also like the pull and lock strap which ensures child is strapped in tight enough. Pretty easy to install in vehicle. Very good quality comfy fabric too! 4 stars only because Velcro for holding straps back doesn't seem to help much. Great idea though I must say!!! Just wish it worked better!!!

I had my car seat installed for the first time by our local police. They where listed on the NHTSA website. It was very easy to install and we went over a few safety tips. I have been using this for months now and its great and easy to use. I like the print pattern on the car seat too. We really like Britax brands. One handle to adjust the straps, its so simple.

Easy to install! We trust Britax!! We purchased a boulevard for our son when he was an infant, since then the advocate was put on the market. The only complaint I have with the "anna" pattern, is that it's a "velvety" type material so it's not as cool as some of the other prints in the summer months. This wasn't listed in the despcription and had I known, I would have chosen another advocate in a different print. We also purchased the frontier sict for my older son and no complaints. We love britax and the affordability of Albee baby!!

I purchased this car seat for my daughter who turned1 year this past February. She is 33 pounds and 33inches tall. She is above the 90% in weight and height. This car seat fits her just right. The headrest is a little narrower than the boulevard, which I used for my older son when he turned 2, but because of that her head does not slump as far to the side, and she seems to be a little more comfortable. As far as installing this car seat, I would rate it a 4. It is so easy to install, remove the covers to wash, and adjust. The only reason I would rate it a 4 is because of the wieght of the seat. It is a bit heavy, but bulit very sturdy. Every car seat I have owned is a Britax, I can't tell you how good it makes me feel knowing that my kids are in the safest car seat available. Well worth the money.

We love this seat! It feels secure, it was easy to install, and the print is just adorable!!! Britax is a trusted brand, and I know we will enjoy this seat for years to come! I wouldn't trust my baby in just any seat! Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Britax and this seat! We moved our daughter into this seat at 10 months in the rear facing position and she just turned 12 months so we turned her around. She loves her seat and looks so cozy in it. The pattern is adorable and the fabric is so soft. We have a Honda CRV and this seat fits great in it even in the rear facing position. You will not be disappointed with the Advocate!!

When my daughter outgrew her infant car seat I spent a lot of time looking for an incredibly safe car seat. I'mpressed with the Britax Advocate 70 CS's safety features I bought it. In the back of my head I was thinking, "This is probably overkill based on emotion."Two weeks ago I was rear-ended, at a full stop, by an SUV travelling 35 or 40 MPH. The car was totaled. The teenage driver hooked the wheel at the last second before impact so our bumpers hit at an angle. My right side bumper, rear quarter panel, rear axle, and rear door all crumpled. The window shattered. The frame was creased along the wheel well inches below where my daughter was sitting in the Advocate 70 CS. She was pretty freaked out.The honeycombed Safe Cells in the base of the car seat did their job - there was very slight heat blistering showing where the Safe Cells cushioned the seat frame. The True Side I'mpact protection did its job - although the collision was off center and spun the car, my baby's head and neck were not injured. The 5-point harness did its job - my daughter had very minor bruises along her thighs where the straps held her safely in the seat. Two minor bruises and 3 tiny superficial cuts from safety glass are the only injuries she suffered in the accident.A cheaper car seat *might* have protected her just as much as this one. But I don't think a single safety feature of this car seat is overkill now.Also, when I bought this car seat 1 year ago I looked all over for the best price and found it at Albeebaby.com. Last week when I looked for a replacement (covered by insurance) the best price is still at Albeebaby.com.

I LOVE this carseat, it is super soft and snug and comfortable. It even fits in my little honda civic! My LO will be in this seat forever, as it adjusts as she grows and for as long as I can rear facing. I'm really glad I spent the money on this!

I love the fun print on this seat! Our son had the Marathon in a plain beige so I was excited to have this seat. We have our daughter rear facing still so it took some getting used to putting her in when I was so used to just clicking the infant carrier into the base. Now I am much more comfortable with getting her in fast. The seat is comfortable and my daughter seems to like it as she falls asleep in it all the time.

I selected this seat because of the safety features. I have no doubt that my little girl is as safe as can be. It is a large seat so if you have a small car it might not fit. At first I struggled to get my daughter in and out of the seat. However once I used it for a short time period I have been able to adjust the straps, cushions, etc to make this much easier. She is still rear facing and although not too tall or heavy to sit this way it takes some getting used to getting her in and out of the seat. It's easy to install. We use the LATCH system and have only installed rear facing. This is a high quality seat that I do recommend.

We ordered this car seat for our daughter who just turned 1. She is 18 lbs and petite. I knew what to expect from Britax because we already have a Boulevard for our 2 1/2 year old...but when I opened the box the seat looked big and I was really worried that my daughter would be "lost" in it. It fit her perfectly. She looks so safe and snug in this seat. I absolute LOVE the pattern. For the record, the "pink" in the pattern is more like a red but its gorgeous. I really wish we would've went with this model for our older daughter. Unlike the Boulevard, this seat stores the lower latch connectors (attatches to bars in your car) if they're not in use. They actually click onto the back of the seat. Also, on the Boulevard you turn a crank to adjust the headrest/seatbelts, on this model you just squeeze the handle on top of the headrest and it goes up or down with ease. This seat also has nicer fabric and shoulder strap pads. I still use the infant body pillow for my 1 year old, but when she doesn't need it anymore, it comes right out. Also, this model has a deeper head rest than the Boulevard. I like this seat alot better, but either is great for a sleeping toddler. Albeebaby had the BEST price for this seat too. I checked with all of the "big name" baby stores and I would've paid $100 more than I paid for this seat from this site. It also shipped super fast. I think Albeebaby is located in New Jersey. I live in PA and ordered it on a Friday and on Tuesday UPS was here dropping it off. All in all, this seat is a little big, but it's so safe and easy to use.
