skip the drawer
July 3, 2009
We've had this crib for 2.5 years and it's been great. I finally took out the drawer, though, when I determined that the chemical smell was the plywood off-gassing. The rest of the crib seems to be solid wood.

Great Quality Crib
February 7, 2008
This crib is beautiful and so sturdy! I feel very my baby will be very safe in it once she's born! It was also fairly easy to put together, or so my husband said. The drawer is a nice little touch too for extra storage. Overall, great crib!!

This is a great crib. Looks high end.The only thing the drawer falls appart all the time. It took me forever to install the drawer.

overall good crib- recommended

Baby isn't here yet, but to me and my husband the crib seems to be sturdy, well-made, and of good quality. Two minor exceptions... the drawer is of fair to poor quality (the screws aren't holding it together and I'll have to drill in some new ones in to keep the drawer together). Also, the crib arrived with a some scratches on the bottom of one of the legs. I agree with the reviewer below to watch out for the following: 1. It is easy to put the sliding rail on facing the wrong way. I actually did install it the wrong way at first (so you had to pull out to drop the side instead of pushing in), but it was easy to take off and put on the correct way.2. The wheels are very hard to take out, so make sure you've got them where you want them before you pop them in.We got the colgate classica mattress as well and it does fit nicely, and is very light and easy to lift up and move. Also, I would recommend a crib skirt with a drop of 14"-16" to hide the metal bar that supports the mattress and to keep dust out of the drawer. The crib and mattress shipped very quickly... they were here within a week of my order. Overall I would recommend this crib.

Really good crib

It is really sturdy. I have some problem with the slide door but that could be because I have multiple layers on the mattress. I loved the natural finish and it looks better in real than it did on the photo - lighter tone.

Excellent and sturdy crib

We ordered this crib not knowing what to expect but the crib turned out to be very sturdy, made of solid wood. The dropside works very well. It has 3 adjustable heights for the mattress and the assembly was not difficult. My husband and I got it assembled in less than 1h. Would definitely recommend it espcially for the price and brand.

Great Crib

This is a great crib - esp for the money. It is super sturdy, the drop side mechanism works great and the finish is smooth and wonderful. It's so sturdy -i feel as if I could sit in it at 7 mths PG!

very nice crib

I just finished putting together this crib. The crib is made from hardwood and is of high quality and relatively heavy. The drawer is ikea quality. Putting it together alone took 90 minutes... might have been faster if two were doing it. Pretty straightforward, but things to watch out for: 1. Sliding rail - make sure you get the sides correct (which side faces in vs out) before you install it, the instruction wasn't very clear on this.2. If you decide to install the wheels, only two has brakes, so install them on the sliding rail side. Once you pop them in, it's almost impossible to take it out!Otherwise rail works fairly well (we'll see after we start abusing it), crib is sturdy and nice, and the colgate classica mattress fits snugly in it. Hope our baby enjoy this crib!
