Baby gift
February 6, 2024
I purchased this stroller as a baby gift for my son and daughter in law, they are expecting their first child in March and have yet to use it. They already put it together and so far so good, she loves to jog and can't wait to use it! I had no issues ordering and it came in a timely matter and in good shape.

Obsessed with our BOB
June 16, 2023
We live on a dirt/gravel road in colorado with hills, snow, ice mud. Going on a year and a half and this thing has never had any issues handling terrain. I wouldn't feel comfortable with my kiddo in anything else. Car seat attachment was easy to find, hand brake super helpful for the hills post-delivery, tons of storage. Obviously it's BULKY and pretty heavy. We have a travel stroller we use for cruising town and use this for outdoor events and around the neighborhood.

Squeaky axle & flat wheels - only downsides
January 5, 2023
I was so excited to get this jogger stroller since I've been trying to get back into running after having my baby. But after using it twice, the rear wheel/axle started started squeaking. If I lift up on one side while jogging it stops momentarily but returns as soon as I set it down. The rear wheels don't hold air either; I've unfortunately not used this as I had planned because of the embarrassing and disruptive noise and the fact that I have to air the tires every time I do attempt to use it. Very disappointed.

*I was told to use wd-40 on the axle which worked for about 2 min before the noise returned.

Must have!!
December 29, 2022
Cannot love this stroller enough. I know it's a bit bulky, but any good sturdy jogging stroller will be. Our baby has been in 3 5Ks and 1 half marathon in this stroller and even fell asleep during the half! has also spent a total of 7 days at DisneyWorld in this stroller and she barely turned 1 in December. Falls alseep with no problem.
The adjustable handle bar is the best especially while running.

BOB, a funny way to spell Britax
December 20, 2022
We went from a second hand 10+ year old BoB Revolution to this new “flagship” model. I was expecting a vast improvement with a decade of development between the models, but was greatly disappointed. The quality was severely lacking in comparison to our old and worn out stroller. After one walk we returned it and went with the new revolution.

Let’s start with the good:
It’s heavy and that makes this thing very stable in a straight line and in turns. It has creature comfort improvements such as nice padding in the seat area, a large canopy, a magnetic view cover, one handed recline, and an adjustable handle. All of these are also present on the revolution 3.0.

The Bad and downright Ugly:
Brakes. Yes, the entire selling point of this stroller for me was the biggest let down. First of all, they ditched a working aluminum lever for a POS plastic lever that came from the factory with a cross threaded and disbonded barrel adjuster. The cable routing is where things really get bad. They use an oddly placed junction box to split it into two cables and it makes the difference in cable drag from one side to the other a nightmare. After an hour of fiddling with individual brake adjustments the best I could get was a right brake that grabs first and then a left that quickly locks up while the right side is still barely engaged. That makes it unpredictable and it constantly pulls a turn when you use the brake. Hold on to your child, this thing is dangerous going downhill! The parking brake works fine, but is difficult to engage.
The improved, longer travel suspension is merely squeaky springs inside those shiny “shocks”. It’s less plush than the Revolution and lacks the adjustment for big kids.
The weight is a lot and it’s noticeable. It’s far more nose heavy and unbalanced than the revolution. This makes it difficult to lighted the front end and make turns with the nose wheel locked.
The “XL” storage area barely fits our diaper bag whereas it fits easily in the revolution. The fabric is also very light and feels as if it would be easily torn. I didn’t even attempt to zip up the zipper that appears to be the most dainty and fragile zipper I’ve ever seen. This is a major step back for BOB.

In the end, we went with the Revolution 3.0. I was also astonished to see many cost saving measures that make it of lesser quality than the classic Revolution before Britax bought BoB. Many metal parts are now plastic and most of the metal stamped pieces are made cheaper without lightening holes. The new model is heavier and much of that may be due to the increased creature comforts. I would like to see the quality of the old Bob on the revolution with a working brake system.

Love this stroller but has some cons.
September 8, 2022
Love this stroller, I did choose this over the Bob Revolution flex 3.0 because of the materials and seat, but I’m still a little sadden that the seat isn’t much different. I was hoping it wouldn’t look so worn so quick. We don’t use everyday at the moment but I plan to. I do think this is worth the money over the regular bob Alterrain just because of the hand break, waterproof fabric, and zip top storage basket. HUGE plus that you can now buy a snack tray!!! I would’ve purchased this stroller from the start if it had a snack tray when I had my little!
Pros
  • Waterproof fabric
  • Hand break
  • Zip top storage basket
  • Snack try
Best Uses
  • trails, running, strolling
Cons
  • Looks worn pretty fast

Great Experience!
May 2, 2022
We had such a great experience ordering from Albee! I was a little nervous because I had never ordered anything from this company before, but I got my stroller within 2 days and everything about it is perfect! It was also a lot better priced here than anywhere else! Will definitely be back to purchase more items for our little one! As far as the stroller goes, this thing is AWESOME! Easy fold feature is great, and I love the adjustable handle so that my taller husband is able to use it! Definitely some serious tires! And the green color is everything! Order this stroller, you won't be disappointed!

Super comfortable ride!
March 13, 2022
My toddler loves this! I’ve had other jogging strollers and they are all so bumpy when going off road. Not the BOB, the suspension is a dream. Love the large canopy cover to block the sun and wind!! Wish they would release a snack tray though, that would be my only complaint.

Good Stroller, Missing Critical Feature
February 27, 2022
We bought two of these strollers over a year ago for both our boys (upgraded one from the Revolution). At the time, BOB said they were anticipating the tray to be released within a few months. We are many months later and there is still not a tray feature for this stroller. Had I known that BOB was not going to make a tray for these, we would never have bought these and would have just bought another Revolution. Additionally, I find that both of the Allterrain Pros squeak and creak more than the Revolution ever did.

No better stroller for a big kid!
January 23, 2022
We absolutely LOVE this stroller. We definitely haven't had any of the issues the 1* reviewers left. No bent wheels, hold air just fine, folds great, super smooth ride. My 2 year old is 38" tall and 35lbs and he has loads of room to grow. Sleeps great in it when we need a stroller nap. The only disappointment is they claimed they were going to release a snack tray and that still hasn't happened yet.

No Snack Tray :(
December 9, 2021
The stroller is decent but I'm giving it only one star because of the lack of a snack tray option. I bought it in the middle of 2020 with the notion that a snack tray option would be coming soon and it has not. Honestly because it doesn't have a snack tray I never use the stroller and I am considering buying a different one and selling this one. So disappointed

Not Impressed
October 4, 2021
I received the BOB Alterrian Pro as a gift from a friend. The stroller is certainly comfortable for the baby, but it is heavy, seems to have a lot of resistance when running and squeaks like a mouse for an entire activity. I tried everything to eliminate the squeaks, but the next day it's back.

Also the stroller has a lot of resistance when pushing compared to other jogging strollers I own and have tried.

For the price of the stroller I would expect a much smoother ride and less annoying squeaks.

Smoothest ride
August 30, 2021
I love this stroller. I would say I wasn't an avid runner pre-baby but it's been the best way to get the weight off. I love that this ride was smooth enough for nap time laid back and relaxing soft seat and comfortable for baby but also has great covered storage on the bottom. Not your everyday out in the town stroller. But we love this on for everyday exercising as a family! Only complaints are: weight and the Covid delays in production which included no car seat adapter for awhile.

Sturdy, sleek all terrain stroller with a few gripes
July 19, 2021
We bought a BOB stroller given all of the positive reviews that we’ve heard from other parent friends, and even sprung for the new fancier Alterrain Pro due to the sleek design and the included safety features such as the hand brake. After owning the stroller for a number of months, we like the stroller but do have a couple of gripes, especially with the canopy fit. For such an expensive stroller, we would expect the canopy to fit well and for more to be included. But, it’s a solid stroller that can handle most terrains and has one of the easiest folds available for jogging strollers on the market.
Pros
  • * Sturdy. This thing is a beast and can handle rough terrain easily.
  • * Good storage. The basket underneath is huge.
  • * Easy fold and open. While not quite one handed due to the size (at least for me), the open and close for the stroller is fairly easy and painless.
  • * Beautiful design. This is a good looking stroller compared to the BOBs of the past that are often two-toned
  • * Good canopy extension. The canopy extends pretty far for decent shade coverage.
Cons
  • * The canopy doesn?t fit properly. We are constantly adjusting the canopy on either side to prevent sun from entering on the side since its too small for the stroller. And it will never stay. Almost defeats the purpose of its existence.
  • * The stroller squeaks when we first get going for every use. Can?t figure out why. After a minute, the squeaking goes away thankfully but still annoying.
  • * Bulk. Although you know the weight before purchasing, in real life, you realize what a beast this stroller is
  • * Recline adjustment. You adjust the seat recline via straps on the back that you have to pull on each side. It feels imprecise and I never feel like I?m able to get my baby perfectly level as I so in other strollers
  • * Lack of accessories. We couldn?t get the Nuna car seat adapters for the Alterrain when we needed it, there?s no rain or sun cover available, and you would have to purchase a cup holder separately.

Worth getting the pro!
June 1, 2021
I wasn't sure if the pro was worth it at first but over time I've seen how much easier and beefier this version is compared to the step down model that almost everyone else has. It really does work very well on rocky bumpy trails! I even found out what the brake was for when going down a mountain path that was pretty tricky - the brake made it a breeze. Off the trail the brake seems like a small luxury you can usually live without, on the trail it's absolutely essential for the steep downwards sections. It's amazing piece of engineering.

Oh and by the way, I got to see how fantastic this company is at standing behind their product. The bob I got first had two back wheels that were stuck on and would not quick release off. Of course I didn't even realize this till a year later when I finally went to use the feature. Called them up and the tech guru said she'd send out a whole new model out to me (thank you Molly!).

Great stroller! Don’t get the suggested snack tray
April 10, 2021
This is a sturdy, great stroller. It glides on a bumpy trail and it’s perfect for a quick walk in the neighborhood. I also ordered the snack tray that Albee baby suggested but it wasn’t compatible with this particular model. There are no slots for the tray to attach to.

Should be 5 star except for the lack of a snack tray
March 24, 2021
I love the BOB Alterrain Pro. It's a great company with quality products. However, there is no option for a snack tray. This should be made abundantly clear to not buy the BOB snack tray and that there is no snack tray compatibility. The side pockets are not sufficient to replace a snack tray. I understand this was likely a safety concern for running or off road travel. However, the stroller is not always used in these situations, when it would be very helpful to have a snack/toy tray.

Best stroller
February 14, 2021
This is the best jogging stroller ever made! We splurged and bought this for baby 5 and this is so much nicer than previous bobs. The waterproof material, the cushioning, the stroller basket, hand break, all of it, is the most thought of and best material. The fact I can fold it one handed while holding baby in other is a game changer. Bob thought of it all with this one. So worth the extra money.
Pros
  • Waterproof material
  • Hand break
  • One hand folding
  • Cushioning for baby
  • Car seat adapts great
  • Sleek black color
  • Stroller basket zips closed
Cons
  • None!!

Great!
September 27, 2020
My husband and I looked for months for the perfect jogging stroller. When we came across the Bob all terrain pro, it was a no brainer. The ‘all terrain’ is the part that sold us. This feature is hard to come by and when you live on average, it’s a must. Also, that’s it’s an ‘all in one’, birth to early childhood. This stroller is everything we wanted and did not disappoint! I highly recommend, it’s worth every penny.
Pros
  • Easy turn, harness belt, easy to use features, one handed, nice sized pockets, reflect design, all weather proof, zip bottom storage, easy fold and in fold everything!
Cons
  • I?d say the only con would be the extra purchase of a cup holder, etc.

September 5, 2020
So excited about this stroller! The way it folds and then stands on its own was a huge selling point for me. It is big and quite heavy but I expected that from a large jogging stroller. I love that I can zipper the storage compartment if I want to and I love my hw adjustable handle bar. My husband is 6’ 4” and can push the stroller comfortably on a higher setting then what I need. The shocks and large air fill tires create a smooth ride for baby and since we live on a gravel road that was important. Of course he still feels the jiggles a bit on a gravel road but he is comfortable and that’s the most important. Shipping was fast, assembly was easy, and the whole experience has been great!

August 31, 2020
Love how easy it is to maneuver as well as collapse for storage. I'm a pro when it comes to putting things together, but initial set up was a bit annoying for this stroller. The instructions are super hidden in a pocket you don't realize exists bc in the center of the collapsed stroller where you can't get to. Thus, I had to track down a YouTube video showing how to even open it (it's a brand new model so I could only find one video). Once opened I finally found the instructions. After that it was a breeze. The ease of taking the wheels on/off is so convenient for traveling when you need to make the most of your cargo space!

Great running stroller
August 9, 2020
I bought this stroller a couple of months ago. Its perfect for running now that I can't go to the gym because of closures. Its very comfortable for my son and easy to push uphill and the handbrake is great for downhill. I run about 10 miles a week on it. I have no complaints. I only wish the accessories were available now. Definitely worth the money. I get off and on curves when I see people coming with no problem because of the big tires and barely feel bumps thanks to the suspension. It only slowed down my running about a minute and a half and that's including San Francisco hills. We run about 9 minute miles together. We love it.

This is my first Bobs stroller but my friends all have older models was nervous to get the new one but it’s amazing the canopy is huge which is great! I got the blue color it’s absolutely beautiful. Being able to close The storage basket is a really nice feature too. People complain that u have to squeeze the brake to hard but I think it’s perfect it slows down the stroller with some pressure not jerking it to a complete stop makes sense to me . Over all 100% happy

After folding, still way to bulky and sticks out. Takes up most of my 4Runners trunk, this will not fit in a sedan trunk. I did not see a different in shocks with a cheaper (half price) competive stroller when walking through rough areas. Break handle is extremely stiff and I cant squeeze. I am able to lift this stroller with 1 hand but barley. Found it much heaver than the step down BOB has.

Pros: comfortable seat, great suspension, great look, and easy to collapse

Cons: canopy does not cover the sides of the stroller leaving a gap where the sun gets in (see pictures), auto-lock made out of cheap rubber, hand brake is stiff, and engaging the foot brake causes you to slightly slam you toes into the frame.

I still love it and will keep it. Don't expect an overall amazing stroller, it has its issues.

The ride is very smooth. The blue is a great color. I love the adjustable handle bar. The hand break felt a little stiff at first, but is now easy to use. I love the stroller- a fantastic purchase!

No car seat adapter
May 31, 2020
This was a decently well thought through product. We bought it for our new born and bought the adapter that the BOB marketing brought us to. It doesn't work. There is no infant car seat adapter for this stroller. We now have a very expensive useless stroller. You shouldn't release a product until it can be fully used or at least disclose some info before hand. I would have given zero stars if possible. Now we have to return this one and get another non Bob stroller.

Beautiful Stroller- Worth The Money!
May 21, 2020
My husband and I were slightly hesitant to purchase the Alterrain Pro because it is so expensive; however, we did purchase and absolutely love!!! The blue color is beautiful. Our baby girl is 4 months old and we do have her strapped in forward facing as there is no adaptor yet. She loves it and actually falls asleep because the ride is so smooth. It puts away easy and unfolds easy as well.

Only three things I would really want to fix. 1) the flap to the window at the top of the stroller when the hood is up. When you open and keep it open to view baby if it is windy the flap doesn’t stay open (a Velcro adjustment would have been nice to keep flap open and in place.) 2) the actual hood doesn’t seem to reach all the way down on each side of the stroller and has to be adjusted on occasions. 3) I wish there was a newborn car seat adaptor available because I still would like my daughter to face me- as she is a bit young to be in the front seat; however they do say according to BoB that she is able to sit forward facing.

I haven’t used to jog yet as she is not old enough! But I’m excited to start that.
Pros
  • Folds and unfolds easily, rides smooth, pushes smoothly, color is beautiful!

Perfect stroller!
April 13, 2020
I?m obsessed with this stroller! It actually makes me want to run more (love running but also lazy). It?s amazing. So smooth and easy to maneuver and my son goes into zen move when we take it out for a jog. I feel like there isn?t a learning curve to this stroller like there was with my other jogging stroller in terms of applying effort to maneuvering it. I?m also on the shorter side so I love the adjustable handle bar. When I was first putting it together (putting it together takes 3 minutes), I thought it didn?t have a storage basket for my phone and water bottle because I just didn?t see it, but it has tons of storage up top and they all zip so nothing falls out! There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this stroller and it is worth the price tag ten fold. I pushed it across a grass field to test it since I can?t take it hiking and it even handled that easily. I received this stroller as part of the Stellar Producer Testing Panel.

An almost perfect Jogging Stroller
April 12, 2020
This was our first Bob stroller, something we have wanted for a while but have not taken the plunge on until now. We are so thankful to Steller Review panel for letting us be a part of the review of this stroller, and providing us with this awesome stroller to test out.

Overall: LOVE IT!!!! It has made me want to start running again because it is just so easy to use and maneuver. My son is comfortable (18 months old) and it's very comfortable for the one who is doing the pushing. I finally see why they are such loved strollers. Down the road, when we hopefully have another child, we will definitely invest in a double bob stroller, no questions asked.
Here are our pros and cons; the cons are more of "suggestions" or ways to maybe improve, but not deal breakers.

Pros:
- Packaging was wonderful, no damage from shipping, easy to open and set up.
- The storage compartment is wonderful. Roomy and the addition of the zipper makes a world of difference. No concern with items falling out both while running or while transporting. Plenty of room for essentials during extended outings. Structured bottom is also a really nice feature.
- Tire pressure out of the box is a good all-terrain pressure. You may want to let some air out if doing more off roading (tried it out on some sand with our about 27 pound kid with no real issue). Paved surfaces and and gravel gave no me problems.
- Locking wheel gave some extra traction and ease while off roading (recommended in the user guide). Also, I had no issue 'turning" the stroller while in the locked position on a paved path. Could potentially see trouble with this as weight of child increases?
- Seat padding: our kid has never been more comfortable. He has napped multiple times while riding and actually gets excited to get in his stroller. The seat seems to hold him in a very comfortable position (no problems during 2 hour walks).
- The shade length and design is great. The adjustability has been nice while also providing extra SPF and rain protection.
- The handle bar adjustments are easy. The handle bar itself is very comfortable.
- If you need to "rest" while walking, you can raise the handle bar and lean a considerable amount of you weight on them. This probably wont be recommended by BOB, but it works!
- The mesh stretchy pockets inside the child seat are perfect for snacks and toys and can easily be accessed by both child and parent.

Cons:
- The sun shade slide lock on one side wasn't all the way up when sliding the shade off and it broke with ease. Not a big deal.
- Hand brake lever is pretty uncomfortable and very difficult to squeeze. The brake lever started to create "hot spots" on my hand not long after experimenting with it. Add a little sweat and hills and you're looking at blisters for sure. What I would really like to see is more of a mountain bike style brake lever made out of aluminum. The cable also really needs some grease due to it being very resistant.
- Another thing I noticed was when the stroller would lean more to the right (curb, hard turn or an uneven path), there was a noticeable grinding noise. Upon inspection I noticed it was coming from the parking brake rod on the right side making contact with the grooves on the inside of the wheel for the rod to go in and lock the wheel. Not a big deal, but it sounds like a big deal. Probably would shorten that parking brake rod; may do it myself.
- The seat back adjustment was a little difficult one handed and I had to stop and use both hands to lay my kid down. I also needed both hands to raise it back up. Not sure if there is a better way to design this feature, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I also wish the straps would not hang and flop so much when the seat back is in full upright position; but they can be tucked in to the pockets fairly easily. Again, not that big of a deal.
- My kid gets very hot. It's spring time in NC and I've noticed that he is already very warm in the seat. I would love to see some mesh incorporated into the seat back for "breathability" so he was cooler. Another idea; if there was a strip of mesh where the seat base meets the seat back, you could easily brush sand and dirt right out the back of the seat.
- The back pockets on the seat back are nice but if you lay the seat down there is potential for items to fall out and you can't get to them.
- I do wish the stroller was a bit lighter to load in and out of my car, however I know that if you sacrifice weight, you lose ride quality.
- Lastly, I don't like that when you fold the stroller up, the handle bars are all over the ground. Again, not sure how to improve that, nor is it a deal breaker.

Thanks for an awesome stroller and keep making the best stroller out there!

You don?t need any other stroller!
April 11, 2020
I was lucky enough to receive this stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. After using it for a few weeks in varying terrains and elements, hands down, you don?t need any other stroller! Ever! Here is start to finish what I thought...

Assembly and basics: The new stroller is so easy to assemble right out of the box. It unfolds easily, is lightweight enough, and the wheels click right on. The fabric and overall look is so cool! It?s has a minimalist, but rugged look. Like it can handle anything. The seat is extra padded and reclines easily. I like how secure the harness is. The foot brake is convenient and easy to use also. The hand brake is definitely stiff out of the box. With use, it?s breaking in and easier to grip down. Love the huge canopy and the weather resistant fabric. The storage bin below completely zips closed which comes in handy on the trails or when it?s wet out. The stroller is also decked out in reflective material on the wheels and on the stroller itself, which is an added safety bonus.

Use: I?ve used this stroller on sidewalks, roads, gravel, dirt and mud. It pushes through like a breeze! It?s crazy how easy it is to maneuver and how smooth it is. The suspension makes transitioning curbs or bumps in the trail no big deal for my little rider and for me. My little also likes than she can easily pull the canopy down on her own or stash her stuff in the seat next to her. We?ve gone through some good mud puddles and trails and I literally just hosed it off like no big deal! I would say my favorite feature is the smooth riding suspension and just ease of use. I love it!

I swear if I sound like a salesman for this stroller, it?s because I would be!! I have already found a new home for our other jogger. I go to this one everyday. If you are wavering on which stroller to use or worried about cost, this stroller is hands down worth every penny and seems like it would last until your kids have kids! Haha!
