Great Experience!

We had such a great experience ordering from Albee! I was a little nervous because I had never ordered anything from this company before, but I got my stroller within 2 days and everything about it is perfect! It was also a lot better priced here than anywhere else! Will definitely be back to purchase more items for our little one! As far as the stroller goes, this thing is AWESOME! Easy fold feature is great, and I love the adjustable handle so that my taller husband is able to use it! Definitely some serious tires! And the green color is everything! Order this stroller, you won't be disappointed!

Super comfortable ride!

My toddler loves this! I’ve had other jogging strollers and they are all so bumpy when going off road. Not the BOB, the suspension is a dream. Love the large canopy cover to block the sun and wind!! Wish they would release a snack tray though, that would be my only complaint.

Smoothest ride

I love this stroller. I would say I wasn't an avid runner pre-baby but it's been the best way to get the weight off. I love that this ride was smooth enough for nap time laid back and relaxing soft seat and comfortable for baby but also has great covered storage on the bottom. Not your everyday out in the town stroller. But we love this on for everyday exercising as a family! Only complaints are: weight and the Covid delays in production which included no car seat adapter for awhile.

Sturdy, sleek all terrain stroller with a few gripes
By Bay M.
from Bay Area, California
on July 19, 2021
Verified Buyer
We bought a BOB stroller given all of the positive reviews that we’ve heard from other parent friends, and even sprung for the new fancier Alterrain Pro due to the sleek design and the included safety features such as the hand brake. After owning the stroller for a number of months, we like the stroller but do have a couple of gripes, especially with the canopy fit. For such an expensive stroller, we would expect the canopy to fit well and for more to be included. But, it’s a solid stroller that can handle most terrains and has one of the easiest folds available for jogging strollers on the market.
Pros
  • * Sturdy. This thing is a beast and can handle rough terrain easily.
  • * Good storage. The basket underneath is huge.
  • * Easy fold and open. While not quite one handed due to the size (at least for me), the open and close for the stroller is fairly easy and painless.
  • * Beautiful design. This is a good looking stroller compared to the BOBs of the past that are often two-toned
  • * Good canopy extension. The canopy extends pretty far for decent shade coverage.
Cons
  • * The canopy doesn?t fit properly. We are constantly adjusting the canopy on either side to prevent sun from entering on the side since its too small for the stroller. And it will never stay. Almost defeats the purpose of its existence.
  • * The stroller squeaks when we first get going for every use. Can?t figure out why. After a minute, the squeaking goes away thankfully but still annoying.
  • * Bulk. Although you know the weight before purchasing, in real life, you realize what a beast this stroller is
  • * Recline adjustment. You adjust the seat recline via straps on the back that you have to pull on each side. It feels imprecise and I never feel like I?m able to get my baby perfectly level as I so in other strollers
  • * Lack of accessories. We couldn?t get the Nuna car seat adapters for the Alterrain when we needed it, there?s no rain or sun cover available, and you would have to purchase a cup holder separately.

Worth getting the pro!
By Trail D.

I wasn't sure if the pro was worth it at first but over time I've seen how much easier and beefier this version is compared to the step down model that almost everyone else has. It really does work very well on rocky bumpy trails! I even found out what the brake was for when going down a mountain path that was pretty tricky - the brake made it a breeze. Off the trail the brake seems like a small luxury you can usually live without, on the trail it's absolutely essential for the steep downwards sections. It's amazing piece of engineering.

Oh and by the way, I got to see how fantastic this company is at standing behind their product. The bob I got first had two back wheels that were stuck on and would not quick release off. Of course I didn't even realize this till a year later when I finally went to use the feature. Called them up and the tech guru said she'd send out a whole new model out to me (thank you Molly!).

This is a sturdy, great stroller. It glides on a bumpy trail and it’s perfect for a quick walk in the neighborhood. I also ordered the snack tray that Albee baby suggested but it wasn’t compatible with this particular model. There are no slots for the tray to attach to.

Should be 5 star except for the lack of a snack tray

I love the BOB Alterrain Pro. It's a great company with quality products. However, there is no option for a snack tray. This should be made abundantly clear to not buy the BOB snack tray and that there is no snack tray compatibility. The side pockets are not sufficient to replace a snack tray. I understand this was likely a safety concern for running or off road travel. However, the stroller is not always used in these situations, when it would be very helpful to have a snack/toy tray.

This is the best jogging stroller ever made! We splurged and bought this for baby 5 and this is so much nicer than previous bobs. The waterproof material, the cushioning, the stroller basket, hand break, all of it, is the most thought of and best material. The fact I can fold it one handed while holding baby in other is a game changer. Bob thought of it all with this one. So worth the extra money.
Pros
  • Waterproof material
  • Hand break
  • One hand folding
  • Cushioning for baby
  • Car seat adapts great
  • Sleek black color
  • Stroller basket zips closed
Cons
  • None!!

There are literally No accessories available for this stroller. No snack tray or car seat adapter, however all of the accessories are advertised for "bob single jogging strollers. Every time I speak with BOB, I am told they plan on releasing them soon... If this would

My husband and I looked for months for the perfect jogging stroller. When we came across the Bob all terrain pro, it was a no brainer. The ‘all terrain’ is the part that sold us. This feature is hard to come by and when you live on average, it’s a must. Also, that’s it’s an ‘all in one’, birth to early childhood. This stroller is everything we wanted and did not disappoint! I highly recommend, it’s worth every penny.
Pros
  • Easy turn, harness belt, easy to use features, one handed, nice sized pockets, reflect design, all weather proof, zip bottom storage, easy fold and in fold everything!
Cons
  • I?d say the only con would be the extra purchase of a cup holder, etc.

So excited about this stroller! The way it folds and then stands on its own was a huge selling point for me. It is big and quite heavy but I expected that from a large jogging stroller. I love that I can zipper the storage compartment if I want to and I love my hw adjustable handle bar. My husband is 6’ 4” and can push the stroller comfortably on a higher setting then what I need. The shocks and large air fill tires create a smooth ride for baby and since we live on a gravel road that was important. Of course he still feels the jiggles a bit on a gravel road but he is comfortable and that’s the most important. Shipping was fast, assembly was easy, and the whole experience has been great!

Love how easy it is to maneuver as well as collapse for storage. I'm a pro when it comes to putting things together, but initial set up was a bit annoying for this stroller. The instructions are super hidden in a pocket you don't realize exists bc in the center of the collapsed stroller where you can't get to. Thus, I had to track down a YouTube video showing how to even open it (it's a brand new model so I could only find one video). Once opened I finally found the instructions. After that it was a breeze. The ease of taking the wheels on/off is so convenient for traveling when you need to make the most of your cargo space!

I just wish the accessories were available.

I bought this stroller a couple of months ago. Its perfect for running now that I can't go to the gym because of closures. Its very comfortable for my son and easy to push uphill and the handbrake is great for downhill. I run about 10 miles a week on it. I have no complaints. I only wish the accessories were available now. Definitely worth the money. I get off and on curves when I see people coming with no problem because of the big tires and barely feel bumps thanks to the suspension. It only slowed down my running about a minute and a half and that's including San Francisco hills. We run about 9 minute miles together. We love it.

This is my first Bobs stroller but my friends all have older models was nervous to get the new one but it’s amazing the canopy is huge which is great! I got the blue color it’s absolutely beautiful. Being able to close The storage basket is a really nice feature too. People complain that u have to squeeze the brake to hard but I think it’s perfect it slows down the stroller with some pressure not jerking it to a complete stop makes sense to me . Over all 100% happy
Best Uses
  • I live in the country and it’s perfect for all the back roads smooth ride.
Cons
  • A tiny bit heavier and seems to be just a little bigger when folded than older models but I don’t think I’d even say it’s really a con

After folding, still way to bulky and sticks out. Takes up most of my 4Runners trunk, this will not fit in a sedan trunk. I did not see a different in shocks with a cheaper (half price) competive stroller when walking through rough areas. Break handle is extremely stiff and I cant squeeze. I am able to lift this stroller with 1 hand but barley. Found it much heaver than the step down BOB has.

Looks awesome, but decent (not great) quality

Bought this June 2020 (manufactured March 2020). I noticed most of the reviews on here are from people who got it for free.

Pros: comfortable seat, great suspension, great look, and easy to collapse

Cons: canopy does not cover the sides of the stroller leaving a gap where the sun gets in (see pictures), auto-lock made out of cheap rubber, hand brake is stiff, and engaging the foot brake causes you to slightly slam you toes into the frame.

I still love it and will keep it. Don't expect an overall amazing stroller, it has its issues.

This was a decently well thought through product. We bought it for our new born and bought the adapter that the BOB marketing brought us to. It doesn't work. There is no infant car seat adapter for this stroller. We now have a very expensive useless stroller. You shouldn't release a product until it can be fully used or at least disclose some info before hand. I would have given zero stars if possible. Now we have to return this one and get another non Bob stroller.

My husband and I were slightly hesitant to purchase the Alterrain Pro because it is so expensive; however, we did purchase and absolutely love!!! The blue color is beautiful. Our baby girl is 4 months old and we do have her strapped in forward facing as there is no adaptor yet. She loves it and actually falls asleep because the ride is so smooth. It puts away easy and unfolds easy as well.

Only three things I would really want to fix. 1) the flap to the window at the top of the stroller when the hood is up. When you open and keep it open to view baby if it is windy the flap doesn’t stay open (a Velcro adjustment would have been nice to keep flap open and in place.) 2) the actual hood doesn’t seem to reach all the way down on each side of the stroller and has to be adjusted on occasions. 3) I wish there was a newborn car seat adaptor available because I still would like my daughter to face me- as she is a bit young to be in the front seat; however they do say according to BoB that she is able to sit forward facing.

I haven’t used to jog yet as she is not old enough! But I’m excited to start that.
Pros
  • Folds and unfolds easily, rides smooth, pushes smoothly, color is beautiful!
Cons

I?m obsessed with this stroller! It actually makes me want to run more (love running but also lazy). It?s amazing. So smooth and easy to maneuver and my son goes into zen move when we take it out for a jog. I feel like there isn?t a learning curve to this stroller like there was with my other jogging stroller in terms of applying effort to maneuvering it. I?m also on the shorter side so I love the adjustable handle bar. When I was first putting it together (putting it together takes 3 minutes), I thought it didn?t have a storage basket for my phone and water bottle because I just didn?t see it, but it has tons of storage up top and they all zip so nothing falls out! There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this stroller and it is worth the price tag ten fold. I pushed it across a grass field to test it since I can?t take it hiking and it even handled that easily. I received this stroller as part of the Stellar Producer Testing Panel.

An almost perfect Jogging Stroller
By kbluebird

This was our first Bob stroller, something we have wanted for a while but have not taken the plunge on until now. We are so thankful to Steller Review panel for letting us be a part of the review of this stroller, and providing us with this awesome stroller to test out.

Overall: LOVE IT!!!! It has made me want to start running again because it is just so easy to use and maneuver. My son is comfortable (18 months old) and it's very comfortable for the one who is doing the pushing. I finally see why they are such loved strollers. Down the road, when we hopefully have another child, we will definitely invest in a double bob stroller, no questions asked.
Here are our pros and cons; the cons are more of "suggestions" or ways to maybe improve, but not deal breakers.

Pros:
- Packaging was wonderful, no damage from shipping, easy to open and set up.
- The storage compartment is wonderful. Roomy and the addition of the zipper makes a world of difference. No concern with items falling out both while running or while transporting. Plenty of room for essentials during extended outings. Structured bottom is also a really nice feature.
- Tire pressure out of the box is a good all-terrain pressure. You may want to let some air out if doing more off roading (tried it out on some sand with our about 27 pound kid with no real issue). Paved surfaces and and gravel gave no me problems.
- Locking wheel gave some extra traction and ease while off roading (recommended in the user guide). Also, I had no issue 'turning" the stroller while in the locked position on a paved path. Could potentially see trouble with this as weight of child increases?
- Seat padding: our kid has never been more comfortable. He has napped multiple times while riding and actually gets excited to get in his stroller. The seat seems to hold him in a very comfortable position (no problems during 2 hour walks).
- The shade length and design is great. The adjustability has been nice while also providing extra SPF and rain protection.
- The handle bar adjustments are easy. The handle bar itself is very comfortable.
- If you need to "rest" while walking, you can raise the handle bar and lean a considerable amount of you weight on them. This probably wont be recommended by BOB, but it works!
- The mesh stretchy pockets inside the child seat are perfect for snacks and toys and can easily be accessed by both child and parent.

Cons:
- The sun shade slide lock on one side wasn't all the way up when sliding the shade off and it broke with ease. Not a big deal.
- Hand brake lever is pretty uncomfortable and very difficult to squeeze. The brake lever started to create "hot spots" on my hand not long after experimenting with it. Add a little sweat and hills and you're looking at blisters for sure. What I would really like to see is more of a mountain bike style brake lever made out of aluminum. The cable also really needs some grease due to it being very resistant.
- Another thing I noticed was when the stroller would lean more to the right (curb, hard turn or an uneven path), there was a noticeable grinding noise. Upon inspection I noticed it was coming from the parking brake rod on the right side making contact with the grooves on the inside of the wheel for the rod to go in and lock the wheel. Not a big deal, but it sounds like a big deal. Probably would shorten that parking brake rod; may do it myself.
- The seat back adjustment was a little difficult one handed and I had to stop and use both hands to lay my kid down. I also needed both hands to raise it back up. Not sure if there is a better way to design this feature, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I also wish the straps would not hang and flop so much when the seat back is in full upright position; but they can be tucked in to the pockets fairly easily. Again, not that big of a deal.
- My kid gets very hot. It's spring time in NC and I've noticed that he is already very warm in the seat. I would love to see some mesh incorporated into the seat back for "breathability" so he was cooler. Another idea; if there was a strip of mesh where the seat base meets the seat back, you could easily brush sand and dirt right out the back of the seat.
- The back pockets on the seat back are nice but if you lay the seat down there is potential for items to fall out and you can't get to them.
- I do wish the stroller was a bit lighter to load in and out of my car, however I know that if you sacrifice weight, you lose ride quality.
- Lastly, I don't like that when you fold the stroller up, the handle bars are all over the ground. Again, not sure how to improve that, nor is it a deal breaker.

Thanks for an awesome stroller and keep making the best stroller out there!

You don?t need any other stroller!
By Lmoyer

I was lucky enough to receive this stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. After using it for a few weeks in varying terrains and elements, hands down, you don?t need any other stroller! Ever! Here is start to finish what I thought...

Assembly and basics: The new stroller is so easy to assemble right out of the box. It unfolds easily, is lightweight enough, and the wheels click right on. The fabric and overall look is so cool! It?s has a minimalist, but rugged look. Like it can handle anything. The seat is extra padded and reclines easily. I like how secure the harness is. The foot brake is convenient and easy to use also. The hand brake is definitely stiff out of the box. With use, it?s breaking in and easier to grip down. Love the huge canopy and the weather resistant fabric. The storage bin below completely zips closed which comes in handy on the trails or when it?s wet out. The stroller is also decked out in reflective material on the wheels and on the stroller itself, which is an added safety bonus.

Use: I?ve used this stroller on sidewalks, roads, gravel, dirt and mud. It pushes through like a breeze! It?s crazy how easy it is to maneuver and how smooth it is. The suspension makes transitioning curbs or bumps in the trail no big deal for my little rider and for me. My little also likes than she can easily pull the canopy down on her own or stash her stuff in the seat next to her. We?ve gone through some good mud puddles and trails and I literally just hosed it off like no big deal! I would say my favorite feature is the smooth riding suspension and just ease of use. I love it!

I swear if I sound like a salesman for this stroller, it?s because I would be!! I have already found a new home for our other jogger. I go to this one everyday. If you are wavering on which stroller to use or worried about cost, this stroller is hands down worth every penny and seems like it would last until your kids have kids! Haha!

I received the BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller to test as a member of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and couldn?t be happier with it! In years past I had a different brand jogging stroller and by comparison this one was much more roomie for my little one! a bit bigger in size overall but that didn?t effect performance - jogs super smooth and lots of room for the little one and all the extras. i really like that this stroller has two inside pockets for him - he can have his snack in one side and his water on the other and i don?t have to hand him things! additionally I love the one-handed easy fold and how simple it was to put together. (although i do wish they put some unpackaging instructions with it - i was a little clueless where to start and couldn?t find the manual at first!). The safety features are great as well including the easy to use front wheel lock. Overall this is an awesome stroller, if you are considering it, go for it!

I was so excited when I got my BOB Gear Alterrain Pro, my daughter is not a good napper and my husband and I love to run 5km during the weekend. Now we are able to do on family runs. When I opened the box was already impressed with how easy it was to setup and the stroller is so slim, but at the same time feels very safe. I never had a stroller with hand breaks and suspension and it definitely makes a difference, it's very smooth, so when you are running it doesn't stop all of a sudden. The wheels size are crazy, and it moved really well around the pond in our neighborhood, kid had so much fun and it's so stable she was able to flip her favorite book pages during our jog. She is also a big girl for her age and the stroller is so smooth that didn't seem heavy and was easy to steer. My only wish was for the stroller to come with a cover to protect from the wind, since is still chilly here that would help break the wind while running. Thanks Stellar Panel for the opportunity to receive such an amazing product.

We have had this stroller for just shy of a month now and both my husband and I love it! It adjusts to both our 2.5 year old and 1 year old well (both of which are tall). It handles our very hilly neighborhood well, and is far easier to push than our other stroller. I love the coverage of the canopy for our little one depending on our needs, and that we can tuck the flap up and peek in on her! Initially I worried not having a snack tray might be inconvenient, but the mesh pockets on either side actually work far better anyway! Multiple zippered storage compartments throughout the stroller offer great options for phone, small water bottle, or bigger gear below. The folding mechanism varies from what I?m used to, but after a time or two I found it very easy. More difficult steering even a small amount when the front wheel is locked, but just takes some getting used to. When not running and the front wheel unlocked, it maneuvers great. We have four young children so family walks usually require more than one stroller, and my husband and I are always racing to claim the BOB first! The adjustable handle bar makes switching back and forth (a 9? height difference) very quick. I received this Stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The kiddos and I have been enjoying going for runs in our new jogging stroller! This stroller provides a smooth ride for not only the kiddo riding, but is also super easy to push and maneuver for the runner as well. I love the large canopy to keep your little one dry or protected from the sun. One of my favorite features is how easy this stroller is to fold up and store... it stands up all on its own when folded. The front lock wheel, five-point harness, hand brake, and safety wrist strap make this stroller extremely safe while out on a run! Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for this amazing jogging stroller!

Great Running Stroller

I received this stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have used other BOB products and so far this is my favorite. They have completely redesigned with this model. Being a runner I found the Alterrain being great for handling all different kinds of terrain. The shocks help with bumpy, rocky trail. The handbrake is a nice feature though I have found that I have not needed to use it. I am known for loosing stuff so the zip-top cargo basket is a nice bonus. One thing that I did noticed that could be annoying is the brake cord getting in the way of trying to get into the cargo bin. Instead of having a pull-cord to collapse there is a handle near the foot well that you push in and twist. This handle allows for an easier and more sturdy means of grabbing and lifting the stroller. The canopy pulls down with ease with nice coverage, has a magnetic flap for the peek-a-boo window, mesh for ventilation and a flap along the back with a zipper pocket. The canopy can be detached easily if need be.

High quality running stroller

My daughter calls this our "batman stroller" because it is sleek, black and can go fast. It looks great and is made from quality materials. The shocks are pretty intense and definitely makes our neighborhood sidewalk cracks seem way smoother. I can't wait to test this stroller out on some trails (after shelter at home orders are lifted). On the sidewalks and roads it is easy to maneuver and it seems to handle my grassy yard just fine. Some of my other favorite features: zip-able under storage, easy to adjust handle bar with lots of options, side pockets for my kiddo, zip pocket up top big enough for my large phone, and locking front wheel is super easy to use.

The canopy is awesome. I love that it extends down far enough that even when walking into the sun and up a hill, it still keeps the sun out of my kiddo's eyes. It also stays in place when you hit bumps in the road and doesn't retract to a different position. The window flap is nice how it stuffs into a pocket to keep the window open, which is super easy and quick and has magnets to keep it closed when you pull it back out.

The hand break is a great facet of the stroller. I live in a super hilly area and having the break for going down hills is wonderful. I do feel like the break on our stroller is a bit stiff and hard to use, but I hope that it will loosen up over time.

The one handed fold is pretty easy. I have a little trouble with the push button while twisting, but once I get it the stroller folds up pretty easy and with no back straining (you can fold it without having to lift the stroller off the ground at all). However, I don't like that the handlebar is what props the stroller up when you fold it, so if the ground is wet or muddy you can't easily fold without getting a wet/dirty handlebar.

This stroller is big and heavy. Wow. It is rough going up hills with the weight of the stroller and kiddo combined. Also it takes up a lot of space in my car and house even when collapsed.

Overall I would recommend this stroller, the things I like about it far out weigh the few things I don't like. I was given this Stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I was selected to receive the BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. All opinions contained in this review are my own.

When my son was born, I bought a cheap jogging stroller, thinking that there was no way a BOB stroller was actually that much better than a knock-off discount brand. After trying out the BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller, I have to admit I was so very wrong. The BOB stroller is head and shoulders above the knock-off stroller I had purchased on my own.

The stroller is incredibly user-friendly and provides a comfortable ride for the kids, and is incredibly easy to push while walking or jogging. The suspension system is fantastic, and the one-hand collapse feature is a life-saver with kids.

My favorite thing about the stroller, however, is the attention to small details. The canopy is nearly twice as large as those on discount strollers, and covers the children nearly entirely, protecting them from sun or drizzles. I also liked that the window to see the kids had both a plastic and a mesh section, and the cover was held in place with magnets, rather than a tie or velcro, which always gets scratchy and gross over time. Additionally, the handlebars adjust easily to a variety of heights, to accommodate a parent of any height, or two parents of different heights. My favorite thing is that the stroller can stand up on its own when it is collapsed! This is huge for people with space concerns, and for saving your shins from a stroller slipping and crashing into them as you walk past.

After testing out this stroller, I must say that I am a convert to BOB strollers.

The Only Stroller You Need!

I never knew how badly I needed this stroller until I received this product as part of the Stellar Testing Panel! From the start, this stroller was everything I didn't know I needed! It assembled very easily-just pop in the wheels. We received this stroller during the beginning of the quarantine period, and it is one of the few things keeping our sanity! Trying to juggle two parents working from home and a very active toddler has been difficult, and this stroller kept our sanity. It ensured both my husband and I got a run in daily. The bonus was that the ride is so smooth, our toddler took a nap every time we were out!

Some of the features I love about this stroller are:
1) The oversized canopy. This thing is amazing!! If the baby fell asleep, we kept the sun (and bugs, noises and/or rain) from waking him with this down. Don't worry, you can still keep an eye on the little one with the peep window!
2) All of the pockets!! There is a zipper pocket at the top, by the handle, which is perfect for your phone and keys! There are two more along the seat back for your water bottles. There are two more pockets at the sides of the cushioned seat. I didn't have to worry about constantly grabbing water for my son, or him losing the cup if he just had it next to him.
3) The oversized basket that zips at the bottom. This thing is big enough to hold multiple stroller blankets, a jacket, boogie wipes, and more! I love that it zips so nothing gets lost if you take a sharp turn, and bonus, nothing gets wet if it is raining!
4) The ability to collapse/fold it with one hand, so it is easily stored when not in use.
5) The safety features, like the wrist strap, hand brake, and foot brake. I didn't have to worry about losing control, even if the uneven terrain made the jog any less smooth (which it didn't!)

There are only 2 cons I can think of for this stroller. One is that the canopy has a slight gap at the sides rather than being fully connected to the stroller, so wind or rain could possibly get through. It is so slight I really wasn't worried. The other is that the window has a magnetic closure to keep it closed, but not to keep it open. I had the window fly closed if I did not tuck the cover up tight enough.

Overall, I am so happy with this stroller I have put any others I have into retirement! This is definitely worth the investment if you are considering purchasing!

Great stroller, thoughtful features

I had the opportunity to review the BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall this is a really good jogging stroller. There was assembly required out of the box but it was not overly onerous (took about 15-20 minutes to put it together) and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. There are a lot of things to love about this stroller, and only one con.
Pros:
Easily adjustable handlebar (SO important - it enables me and my husband to both use this stroller comfortably)
Hand brake for quick stops and attachment strap (I've used jogging strollers without these safety features and really didn't like them because of the inability to brake)
Easy to adjust front wheel (can be locked or free) - this stroller has excellent maneuverability
Excellent suspension - my kiddos loved how smooth the ride was
Thoughtful bonus features - the stroller hood lifts up slightly on the sides to allow for air flow when the hood is fully down (this has been a huge problem for me in Texas where it can be SO hot - this aspect allows for air flow and was a great addition). The see-through cover on top has magnets holding it down instead of velcro so it stays in place a lot better than previous strollers I've tried. This stroller STORES SO EASILY and folds up really compactly. I was blown away by how sturdy it was folded up (didn't fall over like some of my other strollers have in the past).
Instructions for how to correct stroller tracking. When I first used the stroller it pulled to the right REALLY bad. I was frustrated at first, but the instruction manual has very clear instructions for how to correct this feature - which was really nice!

Cons:
The brake mechanism (at least on mine) has issues. It's easy enough to engage and keep the stroller in position, but once it's disengaged about 50% of the time one or the other back tires will not be "un-braked" and will just be stuck. I have to rock the stroller back and forth several times to get the wheel un-stuck.

Overall, this stroller is great. There are some very thoughtful touches to it and it rides like a dream. Easy to control while running or walking. I was very pleased.

Nice upgrade to the old BOB jogging stroller!

I owned an older version of this stroller (BOB Revolution Flex - purchased in 2015 for my oldest child) so I had a good basis for comparison when using this new stroller.

Out of the box, this was really easy to assemble. Even with 2 kids climbing all over me and trying to "help", I was able to assemble in around 15 minutes. The directions were easy and pretty straightforward to follow.

Once assembled, I appreciated the new, sleek design. In addition to having a high quality, sturdy stroller, this is an important feature to me. The canopy features structured sections that fold in and out consistently. My older model BOB seemed to lose this structure over time and never fully extended. The peek-a-boo window at the top of the canopy has also been updated to close shut with the help of magnets instead of velcro. This is a nice updated/upgraded feature.

The hand break on the main handle of the stroller is a little tough/stiff to use at first but maybe will loosen up over time? Either way, it's nice to have this feature within easy reach. The main parking break at the bottom of the stroller felt super secure. Between the both of these brakes and the security hand strap, I feel like I have good options for stopping the stroller at a moment's notice if needed.

The storage basket at the bottom is zippered which, at first, I felt was an unnecessary feature but eventually found it to be useful. I used it when out running with my little one and could just toss some toys, water bottles, or snacks in there and not worry about them getting dirty or possibly falling out.

As far as jogging with the stroller, it holds up well to my neighborhood runs. I usually run on the road/bike lane which has some unevenness and the shocks absorb these easily. My little one seems undisturbed, too! Just make sure the front tire is in the locked position to ensure safety and prevent the stroller from tipping over.

Finally, the stroller extremely easy to fold and store. I like how the button to fold the stroller is hidden under a flap beneath the seat. This maintains the clean design without sacrificing the convenient functionality!

Overall, I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a sturdy, well-designed jogging stroller.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing this stroller for me to review!

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending the BOB Gear Alterrain Pro Jogging Stroller. This is the mother of all jogging strollers. The maneuverability is incredible on every type of surface. I love all the storage it comes with and once I figured out how to open and close it, it was so easy and loved the fact that I only needed one hand to do it. The only reason I wouldn?t give 5 stars is because of how heavy the stroller is. It?s definitely not easy to get in and out of a car if you?re taking it on trails or places like that. It?s a beast but if you are only using it from time to time or around the neighborhood then it probably wouldn?t be a big deal.

Wow. This stroller is AMAZING. I can?t say enough good things about it. First, the suspension is perfect for every terrain, from bumpy pothole covered streets to smooth biking trails to dirt hiking trails. When our son falls asleep, it?s easy to quietly recline the seat and the overhead magnetic window cover folds back quietly since there aren?t any noisy velcro flaps. The zip covered storage compartment makes me feel like I can pack a whole suitcase worth of toys and snacks for our adventures. If that?s not enough, there are side pockets in the stroller seat that are perfect for a water bottle and a favorite toy and a zip pocket for a cell phone or wallet. It folds up super easily and the wheels can be detached for quick stowing (no tools needed!). My only disappointment is that I didn?t discover this stroller sooner. Thanks so much to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing the stroller for us to try out!
