Nuna RAVA vs Nuna RAVA next: What's new?

Sarah Mitchell

Choosing between convertible car seats can be a daunting task, especially when a new model rolls out with new features and upgrades. The Nuna RAVA has been a favorite among parents for many years for its safety, hassle-free installation, comfort, and user-friendly features. Now, Nuna has elevated the game with the Nuna RAVA next! Combining everything parents loved about the Rava with new and thoughtful enhancements.

Let's talk about what's new for the Nuna RAVA next.

What's New for the RAVA Next?

Magnetic Buckle Holders

A noticeable and exciting upgrade for the RAVA next is the magnetic buckle holders. A popular and well-loved feature on the PIPA aire RX and Nuna EXEC next models, now on the RAVA! It makes buckling your child easier and hassle-free. No more fishing for harness straps while trying to secure your little one. The magnets help keep the buckles in one place, saving you time and energy.

Larger Cup Holders

The RAVA next features spacious 3" cup holders, which is one of the most anticipated updates for parents. Roomy enough for larger sippy cups and bottles, so your kids can bring their drinks without worrying about spills.

Updated Infant Insert

The new design of the infant insert provides better support for your newborn and offers increased comfort during their ride. It allows your child to settle more naturally in the seat and is crafted to grow with your baby, making sure they stay cozy and secure.

Meets New Safety Standards (213a & 213b)

And perhaps the biggest update of all, the RAVA next meets FMVSS 213a & 213b. Nuna has always been the head of car seat safety, and this new model is no exception.

What's Staying the Same

10 Position-Headrest: Adjustability is a must! The RAVA next offers a wide range of adjustments for children from newborn to older kiddos.

Side Impact Protection Pods: Critical for safety in case of side collisions. This feature has carried over into the newest model, keeping Nuna's reputation for safety.

Steel Frame & Energy-Absorbing Foam: The steel frame is engineered to offer strength and stability, while the foam reduces forces from a collision.

Laid-Back Leg Room: Offers 2 extra inches of leg room while your child is rear-facing and gives extra support and comfort for forward-facing riders.

Is the RAVA next Worth the Upgrade?

The short answer: Yes!

The Nuna RAVA next moves the needle and gives parents practical enhancements that make life a little easier with thoughtful innovation. If you're looking for an upgrade or purchasing your first convertible seat for your little one, the RAVA next is definitely worth considering!
