CYBEX’s 2026 Platinum refresh is hitting our shelves and this update is focused on the little details that just hit differently. The biggest part of the announcement is that the carry cots can now fold while attached to the stroller frame! The Fold Lux Carry Cots fold down for storage, can fold while still attached to the stroller frame, and can also fold to a carry-on-compatible size when removed from the frame.

The New Fold Lux Carry Cot

This is the big one. Cybex is joining just a few other companies out there with the foldable-with-the-bassinet-attached strollers and they do it very well. What this means is that you can fold down the stroller frame for storage with the carrycot attached. But it also means that you can remove it and fold it to a carry-on-compatible size for travel. And you still get premium comfort details like panorama/sky-view mesh windows, and a breathable soft-foam cushion.

These carry cots are not certified for sleep, however. If your baby nods off during a walk, move your baby to a firm, sleep-approved surface when practical.
