I got the City Turn car seat because grandchild #2 was a really big baby, and her weight plus the weight of the baby bucket was getting to be heavy. I could have put her in big sister's lightly used rear facing convertible, but since I was going to be doing more driving with this baby I wanted something that was going to be easy on me. This car seat is easy to turn, and this baby is much happier going into this carseat than being stuffed into the baby bucket or the convertible car seat. Downside is that it takes up more room in the back seat. What mitigates that problem is that removal and re-installation is easy, so removal and re-installation takes under a minute, with no awkward twists and turns on my back. Oh-and in all the car seats I've had over the years, I've never had an installation as rock solid as this one--the seat base does not move at all when securing arm is placed across the seat belt track.

I wanted to give myself some time to use this and figure it out. So far I’m very happy there are a few things that I wish the seat did better but overall I think going w the city turn vs say the Nuna rava (my other top choice) was the right move for me.
I’ve had no-lateral mommy thumb since giving birth in Feb 22. Having the bucket seat prior to this was great because no maneuvering to get babe in and out sideways. That was one of my biggest concerns switching to a convertible car seat was hurting my wrists further after working hard to get them better. The turn (both ways) option is awesome. Check pros/cons for other feedback. My one thing I’ll elaborate on here is I wish it had more recline options for RF. It has 3 and I have it on 3 and still feel like my 10 month old isn’t quite reclined enough. I feel like I need to stick a folded towel under he foot or something. It might be because my seat has a slight angle down to it which stinks but if it had more options I think it would be fine.

We love the ease of this car seat. It was easy to install after following the directions. The rotating function is especially useful in a rainy climate. The base is very tight. I wish it had some seatbelt management, as the straps are hard to keep to the sides when you put in the baby. It fits my 30” 20lb son very well. The color is lovely also, with nice smooth fabric.

Rotating seat is great, very smooth. The install was easy once you read the instructions. Really wish there was something to hold the straps out of the seat. Also, the buckle pad easily comes off. I guess I could sew it in place if I needed to.

The swivel feature is amazing! It’s so much easier to put the baby in verses the standard car seat. 100% recommend!
