I bought the City Select Lux in 2021. I specifically chose it over the uppa baby for the bench seat. Now that I'm expecting my second, I find out that the stroller is discontinued and you cannot find a bench seat or second seat anywhere! This is very upsetting that such a new stroller you cannot get parts for and it is not interchangeable with any other baby jogger parts. It would have been nice to know at least they were planning to discontinue so I could not have bought it, or bought the parts I needed before it sold out. What a waste of money.

Bought the Baby Jogger Lux less than two years ago for my first son and now have a second baby and I can't purchase second seat!? This came highly recommended by my sister in law's that also own baby joggers but after hearing of it being discontinued and they are not compatible our family will no longer be purchasing any of your products! What a waste of money! How disappointing and frustrating this has been!

I love my city select luxury stroller. I purchased it with the expectation that it could grow as our family does. Now that I'm searching for a second seat with the arrival of our second it looks like that is not an option without purchasing a whole new stroller. How disappointing.

We bought this for our first child and love the product, but now that our second has been born we saw that the product is discontinued and we can't buy a second seat so we're completely screwed? How is this right that we can't grow with our family? We spent a ton of money and I refuse to buy a new stroller because if this. Why couldn't you just make the city select 2 seat for this one? You need to do something about this for us.

I got the city select lux stroller in 2020 after several friends recommended it, and planned to buy the second seat down the road. Now that we are expecting baby 2 in March, I went to order a second seat and was extremely disappointed to find out that it's been discontinued! Baby Jogger- what's your solution here? If I'm going to be forced to buy a new double stroller, it certainly won't be a Baby Jogger after this experience!

I bragged about it to everyone about how perfect it was- I would have shouted your names to the rooftops!

And then you crushed all my faith in your company by discontinuing this stroller. Nothing is interchangeable.

Not only can it not grow with my family it can't even be customized to my families needs because there are absolutely zero accessories on the market anymore.

So all I did was buy a Really expensive stroller that is only going to last me about 2 years.

And now because it's notoriously known to be a disappointment it's resell value has gone down too

I bought the city select LUX in 2019 with anticipation to convert it to a double stroller when we have another baby... little did I know, this model is discontinued and looking online at private sellers, the prices are outrageous just for the adapter bars! I emailed baby jogger and the customer service was very prompt. They helped me gather my model number and low and behold, they connected me with the right seat adapter combo to make our stroller into a double. I'm so relieved!

Happy that baby jogger brought back this product. Purchased last month and attached the day it arrived (no delay with shipment). Works perfect. Looks just like the original seat from 18 months ago.

So baby jogger refused to post my initial review on this. I loved this company I even have purchased summit x3 jogger which I love. However it's disappointing they discontinued the lux additional seats because now that my family is expanding I can't just buy another seat I have to buy an entire new stroller.

This company is trash. How can they discontinue the old model without making adapters or continue to sell the other seat. Anyone thinking of buy this stroller as a "grow with your family" beware because they will change the model on you and you can't get a second seat unless you use a third party website that doesn't even have the correct colors.

You discontinue products and make new products incompatible. I can not trust your company to not do this to us again. We have spent so much money and we love our city select lux but without the second seat or bench seat, it can't grow with our family. We are out hundreds of dollars and now we have to spend more again on a second stroller. This is horrible customer service and is a huge mistreatment of thousands of families like ourselves who are in this situation. I can't trust baby jogger to not create false obsolescence again if we were to purchase the city select 2

The site allowed me to purchase this and I received a confirmation email saying it would take 5-7 business days to receive, however, when that timeline came and went I called Baby Jogger about it and was vaguely told that while this was in stock - they didn't know when they'd be able to ship the product. Baby Jogger should proactively be letting people know this, not waiting for us to call in, wondering where our shipment is. The person I spoke with was nice but unable to offer any real solution, which was frustrating given that this is the last place you can purchase the second seat kit for the LUX model now that it's been discontinued.

I really liked this stroller and this easily could have been a top stroller with some changes. Now that they have disconnected the stroller, the LUX is almost pointless to own it since our family has grown. Like most other parents we purchased this with the intention of using it in conjunction with our first child but now they don't sell the matching second seat. It's ready disappointing because we purchased the city go 2 and the LUX together in mid 2020 and just over 2 years later we can no longer use it since our second child is almost fully out of the car seat. I wish there was some kind of notice that way I could have snagged the second seat.

I have no idea if this second seat kit exists. I order it a month ago after waiting a year for it to be in stock. It still has not shipped. Customer service has only been in contact with me one time after multiple attempts via email and phone. They stated there are plenty in the warehouse but cannot provide a reason as to why it has not shipped or when it will be. Go buy an uppababy

I bought the city select lux with the specific intention of buying the additional accessories as we grow our family. I was so disappointed that the city select lux was quickly discontinued and I no longer have the option to do that. I am afraid that this will happen again if I purchase another baby jogger stroller and the cost isn't worth it.

I bought this stroller during CV. Time I was expecting my 6th child. Having 6 children as manny know money is always tight and I decided to save up to "invest" in a good stroller that would grow with our family. I just had my 7th child and was excited to use this stroller but now I can't since I lost one of the sticks for the second seat and can't seem to find where to purchase one !!! I'm extremely frustrated! I can't believe I saved up so long for s troller that has no use for me ! I cannot afford another stroller at the time so I'm stuck struggling when I take my children out carrying one while punching the stroller! Please don't make same mistake

I'm expecting twins and need a second seat for my city select lux. I'm totally disappointment for many reasons, but mainly the fact that I can't find a second seat for my stroller. I have countless friends dealing with the same issue. Your company has a great reputation but we are all frustrated. I'm now forced to buy a new stroller completely.. how is that "growing with your family?" I was never notified it would be discontinued, or else I would've bought the second seat before all of this happened.

I've had this stroller for about 1.5 yrs now and ready to grow it as my family is growing, which really is the only reason why I went with this one specifically. I held off purchasing the addition seat thinking surely the worst case scenario would be I'd end up with a different color seat but I was clearly wrong. Now I have to figure out financially what is best for my growing family and where to reinvest my money which is extremely frustrating knowing I put a lot of time research and money into this original stroller.

I literally bought this 8 months ago after having my first child. The ONLY reason I bought it was because it could grow to hold two children. There was NOTHING about it being discontinued soon when I bought it. Here I am going to buy the second seat to grow with my family and there is no option? I purchased this stroller for my first born in hopes of growing it with our family. We picked this higher end stroller for that reason. The granite color faded and when I went to replace it I found out it was discontinued. So disappointing. Now I am stuck with a faded stroller, no replacement parts and no chance of a second seat. Would have been nice to know. I'll definitely be going with a different company for my next stroller.

I love my lux stroller. The reason i bought it was because i knew it could turn into a double stroller in the future and now tht im expecting my second im so disappointed it's discontinued. My wife and I purchased the City Select Lux with hopes to "Grow with your family". Everything has now been discontinued and there are no parts that are compatible. It's ridiculous and frustrating that we now need to purchase and entirely new stroller system to "Grow with your family". Had we known this experience would be completely misleading and a waste of money, we would have went with UPPAbaby or Nuna.

I am so frustrated that this seat was unavailable for so long. I finally was able to purchase it but to be honest, this stroller is bulky and heavy with both seats. I would not recommend the stroller or second seat.

I got this stroller not even a year ago for my first baby. I went to buy the tray and found out that they discontinued the stroller. I only got this stroller so I could eventually add the second seat when we have a second baby. Looking to find an additional seat for our stroller in Canada and have been having a hard time only to see that it's now discontinued. I was looking at just getting a city select sea but it looks like they aren't compatible according to another review so I'm not sure what we will do now. I bought this stroller because I thought that it would grow with my family as a double stroller. I had the stroller for just over a year and went to add the second seat to my registry to find out it is discontinued and I can't find the matching products to make my stroller into a double. It's just doesn't make sense to discontinue products that are still currently being used and needed by so many people. Seems like an easy way to make more money which is very unfortunate.

Bought this in hopes of using for future children and with a cousin born few weeks apart. Unfortunately I purchased the stroller and the frame started locking up to where I have to brute strength it to fold. Then I started using the second seat and a month later same thing happened. Emailed baby jogger (within warranty period) and was told that it was an issue with the frame and I could order the replacement part. I HAD TO PAY TO FIX AN ISSUE THEY WERE AWARE OF! Obviously, I did not and now that it is cold out (below 0) when I went on a walk and came home to close it the frame just snapped. Came here to see if I could order a new one and of course I can't because it is discontinued. Can only hope that this is resolved in the next models...

Extremely disappointed I did not get the opportunity to purchase a second seat for my stroller and now I will be stuck buying a completely new one when our second baby arrives. There is no way to find a second seat or a second seat adapter , then i decided that maybe I could try with the bench seat for my toddler y just use my seat for my baby.. another big mistake, there is no way to find the bench or the second seat adapter. I am extremely frustrated, I bought this stroller for my first child about 2 years ago and spent a lot of money. I really liked the stroller and was looking to add the additional seat for our child coming in April. Unfortunately, due to the fact that I can no longer buy this stroller, I now have to spend more money to buy a completely different stroller. If I would have know this two years ago, I would have never spent this amount of money.
