Awesome product with best price around!
October 7, 2013
Amazon's prices were $110-$300 over the price I paid at albeebaby. The stroller is definitely worth the money and maneuvers like a dream. We have been testing it out before baby #2 comes. We have had a five year old and a 16month old in it at the same time, and it is still so easy to steer. Only complaint is it's weight (but it is quality material). I would most definitely recommend this product and albeebaby to others.

My husband and I bought this because we are expecting our second child and needed a stroller that could convert to hold two in various stages of development. We tested this stroller on a family vacation in London and it performed beautifully. The stroller is so easy to push, dismantle and fold. It rolls easily over smooth city streets and bumpy country roads alike. And the sit up to lay back adjustable seat is a life saver for days when nap time has to be while you are out and about. My husband and kept saying how we felt like this stroller had been designed by a parent, because the stroller seemed to present a solution for every different travel situation we found ourselves in.
Pros
  • Large basket underneath stroller fits loads of stuff to free up you body and arms. Stroller is a dream to push on level ground-both bumpy and smooth. Break is easy and quick to set and unset. Stroller converts to hold two kids. Assembly and disassembly is quick and easy. Seat recline is great for a napping baby while on the run or at a day event. Construction is solid comfortable and safe. Accessories and adaptions can be purchased to customize your families needs.
Best Uses
  • Traveling or day trips.
Cons
  • Stroller is heavy and you feel it's weight when lifting it or pushing up hills. This isn't a short trip use stroller because of its girth and weight- you'd be better off using a smaller umbrella stroller for that. The back wheels are not in line with the front wheels so there is a bit of a learning curve when pushing it around not to catch the back tires on things. It's not as compact folded as you'd like it to be. The car seat adapter should be included as part of the stroller purchase so it's a newborn to toddler stroller than a toddler stroller purchase.

Great versatility
September 18, 2013
Good things: Overall great double stroller. We can fold it up and fit it in our trunk. Smooth ride and it is very versatile with multiple positions and tons of attachments. Bad things: You need to take off the second seat and the attachments prior to folding it up to place in your trunk. It's quick but it's just and extra couple of stepsmy other issue is with the handles - the way they are curved makes it awkward to hold and push the stroller. Also, there is no cup holder, have to purchase it as an attachment.
Best Uses
  • All around stroller. It's front wheels can be locked in place for use as a jogging stroller. Or keep it in the swivel position for easy turning. Use it for long walks, jogs, or pack it up and go to the mall.

Great stroller!
May 15, 2013
I ordered this when I found out I was expecting number two. I wish I had known about this stroller before I had my first! I've been using it with my 18 month old for a few months and he absolutely loves it. So do we! It's super easy to maneuver and has lots of storage space. If you are leary about the color, don't be. It's a pale gray and is machine washable. I haven't needed to wash it yet, but like that it is an option. My son can be messy! It does take up some serious trunk space, but is so easy to fold and remove the seat. We haven't tried the second seat with a child in it as of yet (I've got a couple more months to go this pregnancy), but think its going to work our great with two kids. Super happy with this purchase and appreciate the discount on a discontinued color!
Pros
  • Several seating arrangements
  • Works as a single and double
  • Easy to fold
  • Washable seat covers
Cons
  • Accessories sold separately
  • Takes up lots of trunk space compared to conventional stroller

Totally worth it!
May 4, 2013
I was hesitant to spend so much money. But it was totally worth it. This stroller has made it easy for me to leave the house with both my boys (20months and 4 months) by myself. I would buy this stroller over again if I had to.

Great double stroller
April 29, 2013
I live in downtown Vancouver and needed a tandem stroller that is easily maneuvrable. This meets my standard and I LOVE the way the seats can both move 180 degrees to face each other. The seats are easy to change around and the convenience of transforming it to a single stroller is very nice. The break is easy to set and is conveniently placed at my hand so I don't have to struggle to find it with my foot. The only negative about this stroller is that when the front seat is placed facing forward and the back seat is placed facing backward, the back of the forward seat digs into the back of the 2nd seat. In addition, when they are facing each other, there is minimal space for the legs of the lower seat and the child in the upper seat can kick the face of the child in the lower seat.

Great stroller!
April 24, 2013
We love this stroller- the colour is not as scary as one may think, more of a grey than a "diamond white". We use it daily, right now as a single, but in a few month's time as a double.
Pros
  • - lightweight
  • - easy to fold up and put in car (although with 2 seats the second must be removed).
  • - I actually like the diamond white. Not only is it slightly more affordable, it won't get so hot in the summer. Very sharp looking stroller!
  • - the hood/canopy part is huge
  • -easily adjusts. We can change around the seat while my daughter is sitting in it!!
  • -handle is very comfortable
  • -love the hand break
  • -giant basket to store everything possible.
  • -the seats might be a 2011 colour, but the frame itself is stamped with a 2013 date.
  • -turns on a dime
Best Uses
  • Walking, daily use, jogging
Cons
  • -handle could be a little longer yet for tall people. (It's better than many, but an extra few inches would've been amazing).
  • -No cupholder, really?! ...and to purchase a bulky plastic one is an additional $20.00.
  • -I know you get what you pay for, but I still find the price very steap. We love our stroller, and are happy we purchased it... but it was quite expensive!

Love the versatility of this stroller
April 5, 2013
I fell in love with this stroller ones I saw the beautiful diamond color. Previously I had 4 other strollers, and Baby Jogger City Elite was the best one so far (for a single stroller). After I got City Select comparing with Elite it is much smaller for the child to sit. But I got it because I need a double stroller and as a double I just LOVE this stroller.
Pros
  • diamond color (gorgeous and rare)
  • versatility of double stroller
  • additional options (bassinet, car seat adapter)
Cons
  • a little bit heavy to put in the car
  • wish it would be taller and wider seat like Elite was

Best Decision ever!
March 29, 2013
After researching strollers for months I finally pulled the trigger. I had been and forth so many times and with two children and one on the way I wanted something that would not only last but could be reconfigured on the fly. I couldn't find a better price anywhere and with the speedy FREE shipping I was sold. I was able to put the stroller together quick and easy and we were strolling within 20 minutes in singles mode! I have the second seat installed and ready to go when my daughter wakes up from nap. We ordered several accessories, the glider board and snack trays. I also got the cooler and two parent cup holders. Those haven't arrived yet so I don't have an opinion of those items other than I wished the parent cups holders were included. Would still have bought it without though!
Pros
  • The multiple seat configurations. The color!
  • Mesh pockets on backs of both seats.
  • Huge basket!
Cons
  • I can't get the seats to fully recline when both seats are facing front. No parent tray or cup holder. To fold you have to remove lower second seat when using both.

LOVE THIS STROLLER...
March 25, 2013
I get a lot of compliments for this stroller. Easy to put together and change seats. A little heavy but not too bad. Fits in the trunk of my car with no problem. I use it with the infant car seat adaptor, very easy to snap in and out. The color is a grey not white. I bought inserts to keep seats clean.
Pros
  • Versatility
Cons
  • Heavy

Great deal for great stroller
March 19, 2013
Was in the market for a double stroller and was trying to justify the cost of this stroller, but so far it has been worth every penny!! I love the versatility - going from a double to a single stroller as well as all the configurations of the seats. I was a little nervous about the color and it getting dirty easily. We haven't had it very long so I can't say too much about that, though I do love the look of the color!. I think the fact that you can take the seat covers off and wash them and that in the summer it won't get hot like a darker color probably will. It handles great for a double stroller and so far we are very happy!
Pros
  • lots of seat configurations
  • can be a single or double stroller
  • seats can be taken off and put on with ease

Great double stroller, but heavy
March 13, 2013
This is a great stroller overall, but it is quite heavy. It can't be folded flat with both seats connected -- you have to remove the bottom seat and then fold it, or remove both seats and fold it. Depending on how you formulate the seats, the kid in the back doesn't have a ton of leg room and can easily kick the kid in front of her.

I just received the double stroller in diamond and put it all together. Went together easily and pushes wonderfully. I bought this for my son who will be 18 months old when his little sister is born. We live in a city in China and this will work perfectly getting around all the people and cars. I'm really looking forward to using this with both children soon!

  • Maneuvers easily
  • Large storage area
  • Great value

This is not a jogger, can be used for light jogging but not meant for it, eventhough it is called a baby jogger. It does move smoothly and turns corners nicely, but doesnt have the shock resistence the true joggers have, so you feel every bump you hit.
February 16, 2013
I searched and compared every tandem stroller and loved this one this most. It rides smoothly, well built, sturdy, has the most amount of options for seating and is a great stroller. It was easy to put together, and is easy to convert to the various positions.
Pros
  • well made
  • swivel tires
  • easy lock
  • has longer leg extensions, where as some of the tandem strollers didn't have that option and my 4 year old would have outgrown the stroller before purchase.
  • Easy to convert
  • Easy to fold
  • big storage basket
Cons
  • Heavy, as to be expected for a double stroller
  • hard to turn corners when both seats are in position, but nicely glides as a single stroller
  • No cup holder for the kids, no cup holder for the parent

Fantastic!!
January 29, 2013
It is hard to compare this stroller to any other on the market! I used to have a BOB Revolution, which I loved, I even bought the BOB Duallie after my second child. The Duallie was just too much stroller to bring anywhere. I purchased the City Select from Albeebaby on Saturday and it was delivered to me on Tuesday! From the second I opened the box and put the stroller together which took me less than 5 minutes, I fell in love! This stroller has everything you could ever want in a double stroller. I love that I can switch from double to single with little effort, and vice versa. The different positions seem unending. The ride is smooth, and making turns is effortless. The tires are very well made, and not plastic like so many other strollers out there. This stroller has a sleek trendy look to it, which I love. The color diamond is a light grey and beautiful.
Pros
  • Everything!!
Cons
  • There is nothing I dislike about this item, not one thing!!

January 10, 2013
The picture and title are a little deceptive. The actual product has much more gray tones (which we love). Do not be distracted by the "bright white picture!)The ease of use and sturdy construction are two bonuses! We will have to wait for our twins to arrive before I can give Pros/Cons.

Best stroller in the world
July 17, 2012
I absolutely love this stroller and have used it almost every day since I got it about 2 months ago. I can maneuver with one hand even with 50 lbs of two children in it. The storage under the basket is ginormous and I like the seat configuration of having the first seat facing forward and having the second seat facing backwards and the kids can face each other and I can see the infant. The stroller is a little heavy getting in and out of the car, but if you take the seats off then it is super light and it is easy getting the seats of. Folds surprisingly compactly. Side brake is the best. Extending handle is essential and the tires are extremely impressive as it can take all terrains. Buy it!
Pros
  • Side Brake, Handle Bar Extension, Large Basket, Seating Positions, Tire Capability, Ease of Disassembling,
Cons
  • Wish it had a cup holder for adult, and could strap bags onto the handle bar and that the kid tray wasn't so expensive.

I'mproves my quality of life
June 24, 2012
I have a 20 month old and two month old and I researched... and researched double strollers. This one is sturdy and adaptable. We got the additional child seat adaptor which is very handy. The stroller breaks down in a snap and easily fits in our Crossover even with all the seats full and utilizing the smallest portion of the back. It is an investment and AlbeeBaby had the best price we could find. We spent the money with a little reservation, but after two months of use, I would do it again. Oh, and even though City Select says "not for jogging", I have taken the toddler jogging in it while set up with a single seat and have been impressed with the handling.
Pros
  • Sturdiness
  • Look
  • Function

Great Double Stroller
June 15, 2012
I did lots of research before deciding which double stroller I should buy for my then 6 month old and 2 year old. We borrowed a Chico double from some friends because it fit our car seat until our youngest daughter was 6 months. In those 6 months we learned that we didn't like the Chico. It was LONG, heavy, hard to manage and lacked some of the things I wanted in a double. I finally decided I definitely wanted a tandem because of the width. I know many of the side by sides say they fit through doorways and in other narrow spaces, but I just couldn't believe that I wasn't going to have issues with it now and then. I go out often with my daughters alone and didn't want to run into issues. The most important things I looked for in a double were length, maneuverability, both seats recline and varied heights of seats. I got all of those things plus the optional seat positions, great sun shades, optional snack trays and decent weight. The stroller isn't perfect - I wish the seats would recline in the forward facing position and that if only one reclines, it doesn't have to be the baby on the bottom. The parent tray is tough to get into with the seat in the top position - drinks with straws don't fit well. It doesn't fold with both seats attached (very simple to detach one of the seats, though). BUT, my daughters seem to be very comfortable, the seating options are GREAT and I think they'll be even better as the girls get older. The basket is big and you can access it from all seat position because of the zippers and flaps. The brake is in a great location and seems safer than the brakes on other strollers I've used (although I have to tell my 2 yr old to leave it alone anytime she's facing backward in the top seat). It's still long but not as long as some doubles. All in all, I'm very happy with the stroller and consider myself a stingy person that doesn't like to spend a lot of money on frivolous things. For our family, this was a good purchase and worth the price.
Pros
  • Both seat recline
  • Seat position options
  • Big basket for bags underneath
  • Easy to maneuver (for a tandem double)
  • Great sun shades
Cons
  • Seats recline only in backward position
  • Must remove one seat to fold (although it's quick and easy)
  • Parent tray sometimes hard to access

Love Love Love the diamond color (not white it's more of a light grey and its BEAUTIFUL!!!)
May 15, 2012
I researched strollers for about a month and finally decided on the city select. But it was sooo expensive I debated it for about another month. Tried to find the lowest price which was the diamond color (w/ 2nd seat) from Albee Baby. I wanted the black but couldn't bring my self to pay an extra $120 just for a color so I ordered this one. Ordered it from Albee 5 days later it arrived in perfect condition. Opened the box and saw the color and fell in love! Set it up in just a few minutes and went for a stroll. It was about 80 degrees out today but the seats stayed cool because of the light color (the black parts of the stroller did not ie: the handle bar) so again I fell in love with the color! I was worried about the size of the seats but my 2 years old fit perfect with lots of growing room! I was also worried about the color getting dirty but on our stroll we stopped at the park and my 2 year old wiped a muddy stick on the seat...ugh...well it wiped clean and I fell in love again!!! I'm not sure why Baby Jogger is replacing this color with a tan color because this stroller is so pretty. I also read on reviews that it is hard to get up a curb but all you have to do is place your foot on the lower bar and push a little on the handle and the front pops right up making it easy to go up a curb. Its a little heavier than I thought it would be but i'm just used to pushing one child not two. I'm so happy with my purchase! P.S. the only difference between the 2011 and the 2012 is they replaced the diamond color for the tan.
Pros
  • The COLOR!
  • the seat postions
  • tons of storage
  • easy to use
  • and so much more!!!
Cons
  • wish it came with a cup holder and snack tray for no additional cost

May 11, 2012
We love this stroller. It is lightweight for a double (with the seats off) and easy to move in and out of the car. The only thing I don't love is the sun canopy is a bit small especially compared to the City Elite which we had last. I love that it will be a single stroller when my toddler wants to walk or ride on the wheeled board. And then when we have our 3rd baby, it will be a double stroller yet again. The storage basket is really huge, the wheels are smooth, and steering is a breeze.

Great product! Great company!
April 26, 2012
Stroller is great just as described! Easy to maneuver, easy to breakdown, easy to fold. Only wish the seat was but bigger for my 2 1/2 year old. But he seems fine in it - even naps. Just concerned he will get too big for it quickly but doesn't matter b/c I wouldn't have bought any other double stroller anyhow. Company also shipped the item super quick!
Pros
  • Easy to fold, several positions to arrange kids, large basket underneath
Cons
  • Small seat for my toddler, needs a cup holder

Simply Awesome! You get what you pay for!
April 24, 2012
My wife and I did some research going to stores, looking online and walking around looking at other strollers. After a few weeks, we dediced to go with the City Select. We ordered through Albeebaby.com. It arrived promptly (within 5 days including weekend), boxes were smaller than expected due to it's compact folding which right away was a plus. My wife put it together in a matter of minutes. Not as white as in picture so clean up seems easy. Easily configurable for single or double seat. $550 seems a bit high, but it is well worth it. Plenty of storage room in the undercarriage. When it comes to this City Select stroller, "looks are not deceiving".
Pros
  • Easy folding, well designed and engineered. Sturdy construction. Tires can easily be removed. Single and double seating configuration in matter of minutes. Freeshipping!!
Cons
  • leg room between firs and second seat is a bit tight.

Love love love this stroller. All the different seating arrangements, especially when the kids can face each other is great. Love how I can take apart both seats from the base so I don't strain my back and iit fits nicely into my Honda accord trunk. Love the light silver grey color too. My only regret is not getting this stroller sooner!
Pros
  • Can use as a single stroller whenever I want. Front and back arrangement is great so I can go thru parked cars.
Cons
  • Expensive optional accessories. Wish it came with a cup holder considering the price.

I love this stroller
March 19, 2012
Great stroller. I have a seven month old and we are expecting another when she turns 1. I never really loved my single strollers, but really researched for a double. I'm so glad I invested the money in this stroller. I have used it all week (just got) it and LOVE it. Even as a single it drives so well and can be used in all situations and terrains. The canopy is great, my daughter is super comfortable and I love pushing it. Tons of storage
Pros
  • Love storage, very durable, great for walks or mall. Love the options. Will especially love double feature bc it won't be super heavy and huge and bulky.
  • I got diamond because it's on sale because of the color. I was worried, but I LOVE the color. It's really more soft grey than white. First day I got into a down pour and had to run through rain and mud. Wiped clean and still looks great.

Worth Every penny
March 15, 2012
We bought this stroller in preparation for our second child in July. Upon assembly our 14 month old tried to climb in and once we buckled her in for a walk she fell in love with it. She actually threw a tantrum when we tried to take her out after our walk and spent about a half an hour sitting in it before being ready to get out. It is the smoothest rolling and easiest turning stroller ever. Literally you can maneuver with one finger. The canopy covers extremely well. Tons of storage space under the seat. Accessories attach easily and securely. We would recommend this stroller to anyone. The only draw backs we found as of yet is you do have to purchase all accessories separately and remember to set hand brake as it will role away if on the slightest unlevel ground. As for Albee Baby we couldn't have asked for faster shipping or order tracking.
Pros
  • Tons of seating room
  • Tons of storage space
  • Easy to maneuver and operate
  • Big canopy
  • Quick and easy assembly
Cons
  • Extra cost of accessories

Check your purchase carefully
January 17, 2012
I was missing some of the plugs for when th second seat is in different positions and when you use it as a single seat. Little fingers could get caught! So I called baby jogger, they said they would send out the missing parts. Never came. Called a 2nd time and I did receive them 10 days later. Fine since the 2nd baby not here yet, but it would delay using the stroller, and it was after the 30 day return policy if they couldn't get them. Lesson learned. Open immediately.
Pros
  • Was on sale. Price
Cons
  • Diamond white color is more of a dirty grey(baby jogger said silver under tones). May be easier to clean, but not as white as picture. 2nd seat not as sturdy as single seat and the bigger heavier baby will be in the 2nd seat.

I have 3 kids 3 and under
January 16, 2012
With the thought of having 3 kids 3 and under, I had to get the best gear I could to make the next 2 years bearable, I researched all the strollers and decided this was the best for the price. The seats snap in easily, the stroller steers easily with one hand. My 3 year old and 1 year old are equally as comfortable in it. I love that you can buy the glider board for it so my 3 year old has a place to cruise while my 1 one year old and newborn will be using the seats. I bought the drink holder console tables too and everything attaches and detaches simply.
Pros
  • very simple to set up, very simple to fold. Relatively light for a double. a strong sturdy stroller that will work perfectly with my 3 year old, one year old and newborn.
Cons
  • slightly heavy to lift into my SUV and I need to take the seats off each time I do put it away because it does not fold up as a double. Which is not a real big deal because they detach and attach so easily.

Love this stroller
January 12, 2012
I absolutely love this stroller! Handles like a dream, was super easy to assemble and has storage galore! I have the diamond color and unlike some other reviewers I haven't had any problems with staining. After using it for several months now, it still looks new. I love how easily the second seat comes on and off. Since my second child won't be here until April, I only need the second seat right now when I have my niece. The stolller is still easy to push and maneuver with my son (20 months) and my niece (2 1/2) in it. What I like the best about the city select as compared to other convertible strollers like the Bob or the Britax is that neither child is stuck staring at the back of the other's seat. With the stadium seating they both get a clear view and easy access in and out of the stroller. I'd definitely recommend this stroller!
Cons
  • Can't fold with second seat attached

I love this stroller! We have a blended family so it was silly to a tandem stroller. This stroller exceeds our needs. Even my husband enjoys pushing it. You definitely get what you pay for. It handles beautifully, the storage basket it large and the seat it so comfortable. The only draw I have fourd is it doesn't come with a parent's tray.
Pros
  • I love how adaptable this stroller is. I love the recline and the sunshade. I get tons of compliments Lol. I highly suggest this stroller to anyone with a little one, growing family or crazy toddlers.
