This convenient (for parents, that is) feature was inspired by homegrown solutions to the problem of young children bounding out of bed at very early hours. If you've ever taped over the minutes digits of an old digital alarm and instructed your son or daughter to not get up until "this number is a six", then you're one of many (sleep deprived?) parents who understands the need for the dual-color nightlight.

Teach Me Time's! nightlight has flexible timer settings. You define the time that it turns on (soft yellow glow), the time that it changes color from yellow to green ("Ok to wake!") and the time that it turns off. If desired, the color-changing option is easily disabled.

At least twice the green light failed to come on or i would give it 5 stars. But overall it has been a great success! My almost 3yr. Old son has got into the habit of staying in bed till the light changes color.

My son kept waking up in the middle of the night or the early morning insisting that it was time to wake up and crawl into bed with Mom. So, I bought this clock so that he knows to stay in bed until it turns green. LOVE this clock for that!

A little tricky to learn how to set correctly at first. I thought I was setting the "okay to get up time" but instead had set the alarm clock. After two mornings of the alarm clock, I figured it out!

We use this product for our 4 year old. She is an early riser, 5-6am, and now she realizes that she can not wake anyone else until the clock turns green. The other big obstacle this product has helped us overcome is bedtime. She has already argued the time we tell her it is, so when she hits the time button an hears 7something she knows we are not deceiving her. She has even hit the button and informed us that it was time for her to get ready for bed!

We got this for our 8 year old who was ready for an alarm clock & some independence.It is designed simply enough that she was able to set it herself.Colorful so great for a young girls room.
