Solid Construction

Solidly built from European beech wood. Contains no harmful substances and free from bisphenol and phtalates.

Brings Baby Closer

Designed without a fixed tray, so your child can comfortably sit at the dining table and enjoy mealtimes with the rest of family.

From Infancy to Adulthood

The Tripp Trapp's adjustability and solid construction means it can be used for a lifetime!

This Limited Edition Tripp Trapp® chair is made from premium Oak wood. One characteristic of this organic material is that the appearance of the wood components may differ. A natural variety can occur, depending on which segment of the tree the wooden chair parts originate from. Different parts of the same chair can therefore vary in color, structure and fiber direction. The Oak wood chair is treated with a matte lacquer finish, which differs from the regular Tripp Trapp® lacquer in terms of smoothness. This is to enhance the quality and structure of your chair. Hence, you own a chair with a limited number and individual look as truly unique as you and your child.

With stylish sensibility, the Tripp Trapp chair from Stokke offers a secure, ergonomic chair your child. Made from quality materials, the chair adjusts to fit your growing child and provides maximum comfort. A five-point harness system and stable base offer a safe seat, so your baby can enjoy interacting with the family at the dinner table.

Ergonomic Design with Footrest for Comfort

The innovative Tripp Trapp chair allows your child's feet to rest comfortably on the footrest. It promotes correct body alignment when your child is seated and mimics placing feet squarely on the floor. The ergonomic design of the chair allows both height and depth adjustment of the chair, so your child can sit right up to the table and use the tabletop as an eating surface. Not only do you avoid dealing with messy chair tray attachments, but your child will enjoy interacting at the table with the rest of the family.

Five-Point Harness and Stable Base for Security

You'll appreciate the enhanced safety features of the Tripp Trapp chair, including a five-point harness system. It accommodates children in infancy through three years of age, and is fully adjustable to provide a secure fit that still allows for movement and flexibility. In addition, the H-shaped base of the chair provides security and a smaller footprint than traditional high chairs.

As an added safety feature, the Tripp Trapp chair Extended Glider (included) can be placed in the rear position for extra traction on floor surfaces.

Certified for Product Safety

Tripp Trapp chair is certified by The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association, Inc. (JPMA), which represents 250 companies in the United States, Canada, and Mexico who manufacture, import and/or distribute infant products. JPMA has been recognized as an organization dedicated to enhancing children's product safety.

Adjustable for Your Growing Child

The adjustable Tripp Trapp chair can be resized for a custom fit as your child grows from infant to toddler--it even works as a chair for an adult. Both the seat height and the footrest are adjustable in six different combinations. The harness and extended glider can be removed to make an ideal seat for an older child. The highchair measures 31 by 18 by 19.25 inches (H x W x D).

Quality Materials and Stylish Design for Modern Lifestyles

Designed for years of use, the Tripp Trapp chair is made from , cultivated beech wood for durability and longevity. The chair is easy to keep clean--just wipe down after meals with a damp washcloth. The safety harness is removable and machine washable. The stylish chair fits right into your modern lifestyle. You can choose an optional Tripp Trapp cushion with different patterns (sold separately) to customize the seat to match your tastes.

The Stokke Tripp Trapp chair is backed by a limited seven-year warranty on wooden parts.

Great Chair
April 22, 2014
I love this chair. It is so easy for my 2 1/2 year old to climb on and off of. It is also really sturdy, my husband and I have sat in it and didn't feel like we were going to break it. We didn't put the wood protector on it yet but it seems to be holding up well to cleanings.

December 24, 2013
My husband always wanted to buy this high chair but I was a bit reluctant since it was quite pricy until this sale came along. It is perfect for my 2 yr old that is still to small to sit in a regular chair and too big to sit in a traditional high chair. I like how it slides easily and I can adjust the position accordingly to his height. Wish I had bought it earlier!

best highchair for your kid
December 3, 2013
I did a lot of research before buying this highchair for our 5 month old baby and imho it is the best out on the market. Your kid will sit in a correct position and you can adjust it for every growth stage until adulthood. A lot of my friends are still using it, although their kids now are 9-13 years old. The Tripp Trapp from Stokke is even better then the Svan highchair because when the kid is old enough to climb, it can easily climb this chair (use the extra included gliders for standing safety!!). They give you a 7 year warranty with it! I got the anniversary edition in natural pine colour for 149.99 + tax which is ok for a brand new chair! I tried to buy a used one, but they also cost at least 100 bucks. I will lend the fitting baby seat from friends, since you'll only need it for a few months and it saves me an additional 50 USD. If you are looking for a high quality product which will last a long time (you can inherit it) - I highly recommend this product!

After using those bulky, most of the time not very pretty high chairs for some years it was time for a nice chair that grows with our child. It seems to be very comfortable and our 2 year old loves it.

Item was received soon after the order was placed (<5 days). The highchair took less than 2 hours to assemble. The quality is impressive and the design is great. Our daughter really enjoys it. Highly recommended, especially if you can order it at the sale price.

Awesome Deal on Classic Design
November 7, 2013
This is a severely awesome deal on a classic designer chair. I am so pleased with this purchase. Assembly is easy and the directions are clear. Because this model has the natural wood finish it is important to rub the wood with the included natural oil before assembling. Warning- I wasn't expecting this oil to have such a strong odor and chose to apply it in my child's bedroom. If I would have known, I would have done it in the basement or garage. The oil stinks even though it is just furniture grade vegetable oil. My only gripe is that the harness isn't the best. The straps are thin and a little uncomfortable for my child, who is 7 month old and needs the harness for sitting support, not just safety. He slouches a bit and the thin strap seems uncomfortable in the crotch and on his shoulders. I realize there is an infant set that might alleviate this gripe of mine but I don't plan on buying it after reading so many negative reviews. (the reviews I'm referring to say it is unnecessary and has a short life cycle, not that it is poorly made.) So until he is a little bigger I will continue to use his Bumbo seat for meals. Also, the harness is difficult to adjust, especially when my son is in the chair. Luckily once I find a good fit I don't have to adjust it until he grows out it. Otherwise, I am thrilled with this chair. I am a designer but I am also frugal. So despite my appreciation of the design I would not have purchased this chair at full price. So happy Albee Baby had it at such a steal! Looking forward to a lifetime of use!!!
Pros• Long life- grows with your child to adulthood! • Natural materials. Sustainable. Very little plastic! Even the packaging is efficient= lower carbon footprint. • BEST deal on the internet! • Classic design never goes out of style. Not baby-ish- for those who are sensitive to home aesthetics.
Cons• Harness could use improvement. But it is functional and safe, most importantly. • Oil stinks. But the smell dissipates after awhile.

Just beware that the wood is raw
September 24, 2013
We had two tripp trapp chairs in natural wood already, and since my oldest kids weren't willing to give up their chairs, decided to get an additional chair for our third child. We got the anniversary edition chair since it was on sale for a great price. The chair is the same wood as the others, BUT I didn't realize the wood is raw (it doesn't come varnished). Our kitchen/dining table is oiled raw wood and we love that look, but you need to make sure you oil the wood well (the chair comes with oil, a wiping cloth, and directions) and then keep it oiled as needed. We actually like this chair even better than the other two we had (the chrome finish of the hardware looks great too), but I feel the description of the item needs some clarification.

We absolutely love this chair. It is perfect for a minimalist who doesn't care for bulky furniture.

ConsThe only thing i would mention is that the straps can get a bit confusing, but completely manageable.

Great product: high quality, durable and versatile
September 12, 2013
Although this is our first purchase from this vendor, it is our fourth STT high chair. From our experience, they have already proven to be durable and versatile, expanding with the age and size of our active children. We expect to have all four of these chairs with us for a very long time . They are pricey, (watch for them on sale!) but they are of high quality and are well designed and built to last you for as long as you need them.

Great chair, tough to assemble
September 1, 2013
This is a fabulous chair, which I've wanted since my kid started eating (non-milk) food. Just couldn't justify the cost but got this one on sale and I am just thrilled with it. So is our daughter. Loves to climb up and down herself, lovers to strap herself in, loves to be just the right height to eat at the table, but not stuck in a highchair. Just ticks all the boxes! It was fairly labour intensive to put together and to oil, but ultimately worth it. Very pleased with it!

Well designed durable highchair
August 22, 2013
This is my second high chair and I wish I can buy more! I waited for many years to see one on sale and I am so happy to buy a second one for myself! The adjustable height means this chair will fit your baby/kid/ teenager well as they grow. My eldest had it as a high chair first, then later as her piano chair for a while, until the second kid claim it back as a high chair. I was so envious of my kids using it that I made it into my own desk chair and I loved it! I found it really comfortable. The versatility is excellent. The simple line is lovely. It's easy to clean and it keeps well for many years, looking like new. The solid wood construction means there isn't plastic pieces to replace after a while; there is no staining or discolouring like the other plastic high chair we also bought. there is no rusty parts. There is no battery to replace and no complicated trays to clip and unclip. I just love its simple and clever design. If you are into simple Scandinavian design and quality wood construction, you will appreciate this chair. You can purchase the optional fabric seat covers and baby seat attachment. We got the fabric cover in a brown similar to the wood colour and the cotton velvet cover was easy to clean - just toss in the washer and dryer and it comes out looking like new again and again and again - and mine is 13 years old and it still looks new for my 3 year old! (I hope the new covers are as good quality as those I have purchased 13 years ago! ) My 3 year old is still using it as a high chair and it really is easy to clean and all my friends' kids all want to try it and sit on it when they come. we are so happy that we can adjust the heights of the seat and the foot rest board and can change it around for the older kids. I highly recommend it if you want something that is durable and long lasting. you can easily choose the wide range of wood stain and seat covers available nowadays to match your decor. Get it while it's on sale!!
Proseasy to clean and maintain, built with quality solid wood (not wood chips or wood composites!) , very durable - lasted me >13 years! easy to adjust the heights, very ergonomic when height is correctly set for the user of the chair.
Consnot cheap! BUT worth every cents of it!

This one is just right
August 21, 2013
It's like the three little bears of highchairs, the big bulky ones are too big for our little kitchen with too many nooks and crankies to clean. The small ones that fit in seats are good but again hard to keep clean and wouldn't allow the chair to be pushed under the table. This one is perfect and I'm disappointed we didn't get with it from the beginning with Prince #1. It's easy to keep clean, fits perfectly under the table like adult chairs and bonus my middle child can climb into it all by himself. We bought this for Prince #3 with the baby attachment and love it. It's easy to buckle him in and he loves being at the table with the rest of the family.

Really impressive design for functionality
August 15, 2013
This is an amazing design and quite functional. The sitting and foot rest boards are very generous and make this chair very comfortable and ergonomic.
ProsAdjusts to a lot of different positions. So it's a growable custom fit.
ConsI removed the arm straps. Now there's the screw hole at the top of the chair. It could have some sort of storage so I don't need to keep them on the garage to retrieve them back years from now.
Best UsesMy kid is using it while dining.

Great chair
August 9, 2013
After trying many highchairs, we decided to spend the money on this one. I cannot believe how lucky we were to find it at this price on albee baby! It's not difficult to assemble but does require a day to dry after oiling the wood, so plan for that (oil is included). The chair is beautiful and clearly high quality. I recommend a cushion for sure, as the hard wood can't be too comfy on its own- at least not for a small child. The built in harness is easy to adjust and the chair itself is easy to adjust, but does require tools (a hex wrench, which is included). My son is autistic and has sensory issues, so we really needed this chair specifically. The ergonomic design and solid footboard make him feel secure, where a normal highchair does not. But I would recommend the chair to anyone who will use a highchair.
ProsLooks good, easy to adjust, comfortable for baby.
ConsAccessories are separate and a little pricey. The cushion is a must-have, I think. The baby set is not something I used (my child can sit up well on his own aleady).
Best UsesToddlers, special needs children.
