    great chair
    June 1, 2017
The chair is pricey but you get what you pay for. It's very well made and sturdy. It doesn't take up much space too like other plastic highchairs and looks, in fact, pretty in the dining room. My daughter loves it, says it's very comfy. We'll buy another one for her baby brother when he starts sitting up!

    Awesome Chair
    May 10, 2017
This is the second Tripp Trapp I have purchased from Albee. Chair was shipped quickly and arrived in excellent condition. These chairs were purchased for my two granddaughters. The oldest is 4 and youngest is 8 months. I bought the first one when granddaughter number one was 8 months old and figured she would pass it down to any siblings. However, this chair is perfect for her even at age 4 and will be "her's" till she thinks she is too big for it. She can climb up in it, push it back while sitting in it without fear of tipping over while being light enough for her to move around. So, I had to buy another for baby sister. The quality of this chair is excellent and fits in with any kitchen or dining room set. I am extremely pleased with this chair and highly recommend it. It will be functional for years, not only for babies and toddlers but also comfortable for adults.

    Great sturdy chair
    April 11, 2017
This is the second Tripp Trapp high chair we have purchased as we loved the one we got in 2013. The chair is extremely sturdy and durable and I love how the child can be seated at the table rather than off to the side as with regular high chairs. It is expensive but it grows with the child and will last for years. My 6 month old and almost 4 year old both love their chairs

    Best chair for growing children!
    April 10, 2017
I love this chair so much that this is my third that I've purchased (all from Albee Baby). Now each of my children has one. It helps them have good posture at the table for eating and playing and is so much easier to clean than a regular dining chair or high chair. Worth every penny!

Miracle Chair -- Wish I got more!
    March 12, 2017
My dumpling of a tot wouldn't sit in his restaurant-style wooden high chair, and when he did he would sit in it sideways. He'd push and even tipped himself over when in a booster with harness in an adult chair. Cushions/pillows didn't help. Three to six times/day feeding, it was a battle. This chair is a godsend and worth getting! The instant I pulled out the parts, Little One (LO) gravitated toward it (although perhaps because it looked like the wooden climbing ramps at Gymboree). Used with baby set and seat cover at the kitchen table, mealtimes are much more pleasant since first use (though LO is still adventurous with throwing, safety is no longer a concern). LO pushes against the table and the chair just slides. LO leans to reach his brother's plate and is stopped by the rail. In general, LO sits or taps feet on the foot support platform at feeding times; LO plays in this seat while I give him snacks and can cook. Incredible chair, I just wish I bought another! Big brother is jealous and at a petite 5'0", honestly I am a little jealous too.
ProsKeeps my adventurous toddler safe Fits my 1 year-old toddler perfectly and I suspect will for some time as we adjust it Remarkably easy to clean chair & harness (with wet cloth or sponge for even the crustiest of messes) Harness straps makes him look like he's wearing suspenders :) Mom feels confident that issues at the table are around food and appetite. Makes mealtimes and communications easier and more enjoyable. Looks contemporary
ConsHarness (bottom buckle fully extended) buckle at inconvenient spot for buckling when used with baby set rail. Despite my toddler being average percentiles in height and weight, it's tough not to pinch LO's belly. He is just starting to learn to walk independently though. Maybe he will slim down soon but he is 25 lbs., 31" at 15 months and his belly gets remarkably big after dinner. Wish the harness could somehow clip into the rail instead. Big brother is jealous of the chair (especially the foot rest) Pricy (more expensive than our adult seats at kitchen table, although Albee Baby has a good price for this item. When adding in accessories it's much more than I ever thought I would spend on a kid's seat)

My one-year-old granddaughter is part of the family dinners because of your chair. I wish it was available when my adult children were youngsters.

    Daughter's pick
    November 23, 2016
Love the red. We got the first set in Aqua with baby set for our 6 months old, and we loved it very much so that we decided to get another one for our 3 year old. So my 3 year old daughter asked for the red color, so we went ahead purchased the red. The color is very bright and the chair is so easy to move around and to clean. Very user-friendly for a toddler who wants to climb up and climb down her own chair and eat with us at the big dinning table.

Quality product from a quality company
    November 10, 2016
This high chair is the best. In the land of baby items, so many things are plastic and meant to be tossed out in six months to a year. It is refreshing to see a quality made product that adjusts with your child. I loved having my son at the table with us when he was eating his first solids to now when he feeds himself.

Looks good; great design and well made
    September 22, 2016
We recently bought this product for our 6 month old baby, and are on the whole very happy with it. It looks good, is quite non intrusive in our dining room, and means junior gets to sit at the table with us, and join in the family meal. However, there is no way that she could sit in this chair without the baby set, which is an additional cost. The harness which is in situ is not enough to keep her safe, and I can't see that it would for quite some time. However, with the baby set, she is comfy and safe, and we are happy! We are very pleased with the service from Albee baby - both the seat and baby set arrived promptly and in perfect condition.
ProsLooks good, fits in well with the dining room furniture Baby sits at dinner table with the rest of the family
ConsNeed to purchase baby set for young baby - additional expense

    Great chair; annoying straps
    August 5, 2016
I love the sleek design of this chair. It's easy to clean since there are not any nooks or crannies to deal with. The footrest also catches a lot of dropped food, so the flood isn't too messy after meals. The straps are rather annoying though. It's difficult to get my 1-year-old in the seat when she's squirming. I wish the straps were easy to remove fro washing. Right now I just spot clean.

    Great grow with chair
    June 16, 2016
This is the second Stokke Tripp Trapp chair I bought. They are quite durable and clean easily. (Just make sure you clean off the chair regularly.) My kids enjoy them and once they get to toddler age and big into climbing, they like to get up on the chair themselves! (Supervise that of course!) Then, when they've mastered their gross motor skills, they love to click the buckles together themselves too. The chairs fit at any table and are much safer than a traditional high chair that can easily tip over.
ProsGreat grow with chair. Love how the seat and foot rest can be adjusted to different height settings. This chair can last for their entire childhood.
ConsStraps are difficult to adjust and unless you have the seat cushion, I don't think the back portion is that comfortable for the baby/toddler. I do know they get used to it though.

Great highchair and chair for babies to adults
    May 22, 2016
We ordered our first Tripp Trapp for our older child and didn't bother with the tray, cushion and baby set because we assumed he would be fine with just the straps and pulled him up to the table to eat. This worked fine for our first child. At 7 months, he slipped around a bit even with straps on, but we never left him unattended and with only 1 child, this chair was perfect. Our older child is now 3 and uses his chair without straps and it's perfect. With the 2nd child however, my time is divided between the 2 children, and so we bought him his own Tripp Trapp, this time opting for the seat, tray, and cushion set. And we have no regrets. The tray is great for when I'm cooking and I can pull the chair into the kitchen and give him little snacks without having to sit down next to him at the table. So between the 2 children, our priorities and needs have changed, but we know that both our boys can take these chairs with them for the rest of their lives. They are super and I highly recommend them!
ProsFlexible seating height. Easy for child to climb into alone with the foot rest. Easy to wipe down. Attractive design.
ConsYou have to take a little time to adjust the seat height because it has to be taken apart. It's not a big deal, just not something you can do without a tiny bit of planning.

    Great investment!
    February 7, 2016
The Stokke Tripp Trapp is a great investment. I have the primal Tripp Trapp my parents has for me 37 years ago, and bought another because the quality and function is excellent. I've only used them with a toddler, not the baby kit. But even my older kids (10 and 12) always want to sit in them!
ProsSimple, adjustable, beautiful, easy to clean, small footprint, sturdy
ConsExpensive to purchase the baby kit

Love the chair, love the price, easy assembly, but the best part of the chair was seeing my grandchild's face when she was able to sit at the big people's table for the first time!

    Beautifully Designed
    November 30, 2015
So this chair looks and feels amazing. The baby seems to be comfortable. The only downside is that when you initially tighten and re-tighten the rods - if not careful - the chair could rack badly. Make sure it's on a level surface and someone can hold down the chair when tightening the rods - that helps a lot!

Great price that I can find online
    September 20, 2015
I love Tripp Trapp high chair. It is very easy to install and can be push to the table close enough compared with regular high chair. That's the main reason that I wanted to buy this high chair. Great quality and excellent customer services. I will recommend Albee Baby to friends.

    Fantastic chair!
    August 19, 2015
I was hesitant to spend so much money on a high chair, but boy, am I glad I did. I guess the reason you can never find this thing on sale is because it's so awesome. It was easy to assemble, takes up minimal space and blends with our furniture. It is not at all intrusive and that is so important. Functionally it's a little different, but all in good ways. Once you do a one time run through, you're set.

Amazing Quality and wish I bought sooner!
    July 9, 2015
I wish we ordered this sooner. Amazing Quality! Our 18 month old made meal time a nightmare in her graco highchair. We ordered this to have as an investment and immediately mealtimes are nice again. She asks to sit in it whenever she see's it. I highly recommend this to all parents. It is above and beyond other high chairs - easy to clean! We will order a second when we have our next child.

    Sturdy and Well-Designed
    June 22, 2015
Our family loves how this chair fits seamlessly into our decor scheme; i.e. that it doesn't look like a typical plastic high-chair. We know we'll get years of use out of it with the adjustable seat and foot heights, and it's nice how it lets our daughter scoot right up to the table. I can already tell a difference in her ability to reach her food well and eat more tidily. Sturdiness is another bonus. My only complaint is that the buckle contraction is uncomfortable on my toddler's back. (Though, to be fair, we don't have the pad that you can purchase. I imagine that would solve the problem. My daughter is two, so we just removed the straps and she hasn't complained since.) Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone!
