LOVE THIS!
August 28, 2014
I absolutely LOVE the smell of Mustela products! It's a light, refreshing baby smell that everyone makes comments about. This hydra stick is great for eczema spots or just on the face to keep hydrated in the winter. I keep one in the bathroom and one in my diaper bag.

Excellent for Eczema!
September 26, 2012
This 'Hydra-Stick' by Mustela has been the best product i've found for dealing with my sons eczema on his cheeks, the crook of his arms, and legs. He's 11 months old-and, (if you have EVER had tried to apply ANY product to an infant's face, you know that any lotion has the potential to end in their eyes, mouth, or in their hair.) Since this is a 'stick' with a soothing cold cream, it instantly makes my child stop squirming and feel relief of the itching and dryness that are hallmark symptoms of eczema. At feeding time, it seals out the acidic fruit juices that inevitably end up all over his face. The same goes for the drool-fest that comes with teething---his cheeks don't break out NEARLY as much with this 'hydra-stick' as they do with a topical lotion. I recommend it HIGHLY!!!!
Pros
  • LOVE the ease of applying it to my infant son's face...no squirming!
  • Is RIDICULOUSLY terrific for use in controlling break-outs of eczema on the face and body.
  • One application lasts through a few feedings, and a few drool soaked bibs...(translation, about 6 hours).
Cons
  • I suppose it could be larger...but, for use on an infant's small parts-it's just the right size. Also, i just bought it on a whim-hoping it would work on the eczema on his face since it seemed so easy to apply and had all the words moms who have children with sensitive skin look for-hypoallergenic, made in France. ;D It didn't mention WHAT it did exactly, and for such a tiny little stick (.35oz) and a high-ish price...i wanted to know WHAT the heck it was supposed to be for.
