Britax Frontier 80 Toddler Booster Car Seat 2009 Pink Sky

This is a great seat, very sturdy. I love that I can adjust the harness easily and that it is such a safe seat that will last my daughter a long time. I'm really dissappointed w the fabric on the cover though. It is kind of a mesh, and when my daughter puts her feet up on it it snags the fabric, and also gets dirt on the pink that won't come out. After just a year of use the seat looks really dingy.

I am a HUGE fan of this carseat. I love how easy it was to install, despite all the horrible reviews I had read about installation. Then, I had a rental car that didn't have reclining backseats like my Pacifica does... then I understood the gripes I previously read about. No matter how much muscle or brainpower I put into this process, I couldn't get this seat as secure as I was comfortable with. At that moment, I was cursing Britax for the first time ever. Also, b/c my daughter is still on one of the lower settings, the clip in the back occasionally gets caught on a very low plastic lip in the back of the seat, rendering it impossible to tighten without having to wedge my hand under the installed seat to coax the clip over the lip. These are my only two complaints. All other aspects are perfection: my daughter LOVES the seat, loves the cup holders, loves how comfortable she is, even on 6hr car rides to visit family, and I love how easy it is to clean. I would recommend this seat to all of my friends providing they have reclining rear seats. If not: STAY AWAY. Hope this helps.

After spending a long time researching booster seats, we are so glad we chose this one. We have the Britax Marathon and moved that to our 11 month old so we needed something our 3 year old could use but still have a 5 pt harness. She is very tall so it was hard to find something that had enough room in the seat to grow. We wanted to spend less but after realizing how much they spend in the car, long trips and the durability, we opted to spend the money to ensure safety and longer use. It was extremely easy to install and our daughter loves it. The side impact head rests do not stick out as much as others and do not bother her at all. You will not be disappointed with this purchase and it will last a long time. Also, Britax is a well known brand so you can definitely resell it after your child outgrows it.

Overall the seat is a good seat. It is much more difficult to install securely and the fabric is much less durable than my previous roundabout and marathon. My girls both are comfortable and really like their pink chairs....and I know they are safe!

I bought this seat because I swore by Britax. This seat frustrates me tremendously! The most important aspect of a car seat, the latch system, can not be pulled tightly on this model. Both side have the tightening buckle, what you use to loosen it, and they don't fit through the back compartment. So you can't pull to tighten it. The one way I keep it in is with the anchor that attaches behind the seat, which makes it frustrating every time I have to remove it and reinstall. Oh, and I have no idea how to remove the cover to wash it! Would not recommend at all!
