Description
A new Frontier model, the Frontier 85 Booster Car Seat. In addition to having an 85 pound harnessed weight capacity we have increased the top harness height as well as incorporated integrated cup holders and have also redesigned the belt path for an easier installation. The new Britax frontier 85 combination harness 2 booster boasts best in class forward-facing five-point harnessed weight capacity up to 85 pounds with an industry-leading 20" shoulder harness height. The seat also serves as a vehicle belt-positioning booster up to 120 pounds. Featuring true side impact protection with one-hand adjustable harness height system, versa-tether and engineered energy management zones, the frontier is designed to be the safest high capacity seat in the industry. Loaded with comfort and convenience features, such as comfort foam, integrated cup holders and fixed armrests, the frontier is the ideal seat for the child graduating from their convertible car seat without compromising safety.

My daughter really loves her new car seat. I love how roomy it is and how soft the material is. I love everything about the car seat except the fact that it is not washing machine friendly. It recommends hand washing the car seat! The car seat is well made and safe for my child. I am happy with my purchase. Oh, and although it is large, it does fit into my tiny Chevy Cavalier!

My 4 year old is in the frontier and we love it! It fits him perfectly and it has cup holders! And of course nothing beats the safety features Britax offers. My daughter has a G3 Marathon and will either move into this Frontier or we'll get her a new one. Plus it's super easy to clean. We love this booster!!

We are very happy with our booster. This is our second one. The cowmooflage pattern is really cute and my son loves it. He wishes both were this pattern. It seems to be more comfortable for him to sit in than his Boulevard seat. He also likes to have his own cup holder. My only complaint is that it is difficult to install with the LATCH system due to having one long strap with two buckles instead of separate straps on each side of the seat.

This is the 3rd one of these car seats we have bought. If you are having a tough time with the long belt path install just search you tube and there is a video that walks you thru it.

This is the third Britax seat I have owned, so I obviously like them. However, I didn't realize just how much until I recently purchased a Graco Nautalis 3-in-1 seat for my daughter to use in my mother's car. This Britax is so much easier to install, the harness is easier to adjust, it takes up less room in the car, I could go on and on. I am a Britax customer for life.

My kids have been in the cowmooflage britax car seats for a long time. So when it was time to upgrade I didn't hesitate to buy the Frontier 85 one. In comooflage of course. I LOVE that print. Between now and 15 more lbs I plan on getting another one for my almost 2 year old. So YES I would recommend it to others. Only con is that it is a bit on the heavy side. Not a problem if you plan on leaving it in one vehicle and not moving frequently.

My granddaughter loves her new big girl seat. Her brother has one too. Although these seats are very pricey, I feel better transporting my precious cargo in our travels to explore their world. The seat arrived in a timely manner and was easily installed, even by this grandmother. It is easily cleaned when something is spilled on it. I really would like for someone to make a seat cover that would fit this booster seat.

With car seats, you definitely get what you pay for! For the last several months, we were using a cheap car seat but I wasn't happy with the way it was wearing and it seemed uncomfortable for my daughter to ride in. So we decided to spend the money and get a better car seat and it has been money well spent! My daughter loves her new seat! She is more comfortable, can see out easier, and loves her "big girl" cup holders. I love the safety rating and that it will convert into a booster when the time comes. Only complaint is if you are using the lap belt, it is difficult to string through the back of the seat. The opening is very small. But if you use the hooks, that isn't an issue. Other than that, it is a great seat!

After reading the safety reviews about car seats and trying out some of the competitors' car seats, it has become very clear to me that you get what you pay for... and these are the absolute best ones on the market today. When I consider how much time I'll spend each day getting children in and out of the car, I don't want to battle with buckles and straps. I just want a good product. And as an added bonus, they're made in the USA! I purchased 2 of these in "cowmooflage" and loved them so much that I purchased two more to replace the older car seats in another vehicle. Although it was certainly a bit of a stretch on our pocketbook, it's nothing compared to what we would pay if our children were to be injured in an accident. I also love that these will accommodate our kids as they get taller, so they will be able to stay in them longer. As usual, AlbeeBaby delivers. They were at my front door within a short time of placing my order. I always look to AlbeeBaby first for my baby needs!!!

Purchased this for my very large 2.5-year-old son when little sis took over the Marathon he had been using. My husband installed it with ease and my son LOVES having his own cup holder. I decided to get this car seat for my son after he out grew the Britax Marathon car seat. He absolutely loves it! It's a very comfortable seat, as he always falls asleep in it! Also its great that he will be into this seat until he no longer needs to be in one. The best thing I love about this seat is that it still has a harness on it, so he cannot unbuckle himself. It was important for me to know that he will stay securely in the seat while I'm driving, he is almost 4 years old. The material is really soft on this model also.

We have had the Britax Blvd CS that we ordered from here since my son was 6 months old & loved it. When he just turned three we ordered the new Frontier & we LOVE it. I got this seat in the cowmooflage for my 3 year old. (now 4). He loves the print and I love that it is so safe. Yes it is pricey, but safety is more important to us than the price. It fits nicely behind my drivers seat in my hummer h3, he has plenty of leg room. Its not a bulky seat. I will definitly be getting the same one for our baby when he gets older. Love that he can stay in the 5 point harness longer than any other seat, very safe!!
