Britax Boulevard 70-G3 Convertible Car Seat - Onyx

We've been using this seat since my son turned 1.5 yrs old. He's almost 4 and this seat is still going strong, materials have held up very well and they are very comfortable seats. We are in the car a lot due to S.CA traffic and my kids love their seats..forward or rear facing. We loved these so much that we bought one more last year for our #2 kiddo. This area STURDY, well built seats. We have a german SUV and these do NOT fit side by side (middle and behind the driver) due to the width of the seats. Also we travel but do not bring these along. Very heavy and we don't want to risk the airlines breaking these. I have suggested these sets to all our friends. Would buy again in a heart beat!! Well done Albee baby and Britax!!

My daughter-in-laws researched and selected this car seat for our 7 month old grandson and granddaughter who is on the way. It will remain at out home to be used when our grandchildren visit. Although, it did not look to be too difficult to install, I decided to take my car to the local police department where the officer did a marvelous job of installing the seat. We have already used the seat for our grandson and it worked very well. A Loving Grammy

Great item. A little big if your child is still rare facing

So far we love this seat other than the harness being so short. I call Britax and they are sending a us a longer harness. We have to bend our little one's hands to get in and out of the seat until the new harness comes. Otherwise this is nice.

This car seat has everything I want. I like that I will be able to use it fir a long time before my child outgrows it.

This is actually under the tree for our grandson but his 3 yr old sister has the same one and our daughter wanted one for him. Good quality and safety features. Thumbs up!

Britax seats install well in our cars and fit our children well. We bought this seat to replace an expired Boulevard a family member passed along to us (accident free) after their child outgrew it. We knew we wanted another Boulevard--they install easily in our Ford Escape and Toyota Sienna, the new generations have great weight limits, and our children are COMFORTABLE in them. This seat was no exception--and we look forward to using it for years to come.

We have used the Britex Boulevard Carseats for three grandchildren. They are comfortable, secure and look great after five years of use for one child.Have not experienced an accident with any child using them, but they are rated very well.

Love britax car sears have used them for all three of my kids. This one is REALLY hard to loosen the straps when you are trying to get your baby out. It kinda hurts her. It's also hard to get a tight pull on the straps when you are buckling them in. This is the first time with my 3 kids I have done rear facing past a year so it's a little tighter anyway and the straps not being as loose and easy to handle doesn't help.

we have the Boulevard 2010 for my daughter who is now 4.5 and have loved this seat. It has been great. She is now ready to move to a booster as is her big brother( His Marathon expires next month) we are moving them both up to Parkway SGL.

I ordered this car seat to replace my Boulevard 70-Cs (purchased in 2011) that was involved in a car accident. Overall I am still very pleased sight the safety features and the styling of the current model. I am satisfied with the color/pattern and felt it was accurately pictured. My dissatisfaction is in the functionality of the seat; there so no "click" while tightening so you are aware you are close to the safety snugness needed/recommended, and it is very difficult to pull to tighten. Now I don't "need" the clicks and always do my own safety check, but I felt like the clicks made it easier to tell that it was secure and that it was tightening properly. The "safety harness" took a bit to get used to, but I eventually found I liked this feature more than the old version which does not include it. Finally, I was really hoping the color/pattern came in "waverly", but only the Marathons and smaller models continue to come in that print. The comparable print (black and tan) color combo is no where near as stylish as the "waverly", and so I was really left with only one color that would work well in my tan/black interior vehicle. I realize some parents don't care if their seat matches their vehicle interior, but it was a purchasing factor for me. I simply returned to Britax, as I feel it is one of the safest seats on the market. Overall I have this seat a 4 star rating because I know it will keep my child safe, and I would have given it a 5 star, but find the difficulty in tightening the straps to be a nuisance every time I place my child in the seat. My entire family makes fun of me when I tighten my child into his safety seat because of how tightly I strap him in, but it kept him unharmed in an accident. I simply wish the ease of achieving this tightness/security was there with this car sea, but it is not. My next purchase I will definitely physically check the seat for this, and will consider buying the next model up that has this feature.

We are grandparents and this is not the first Britax Car seat we have purchased - we had our first set of grandchildren from our daughter 11 years ago. The Britax Boulevard was purchased because of it's high rating for safety for round #2 of grandchildren from our son. We are very pleased with it's quality and our young grandson appreciates it's comfort!
