Britax Advocate 70 CS Car Seat in Serene - 2012

This is an awesome deal on one of britax's best seats! This model is retired but you can still register it and order parts for it. Easy to install and baby loves it. Sits more upright than infant seat so putting baby in seat is a bit different but not difficult. Seat was delivered quickly with no issues! Thanks albee baby!

I've used this seat for over a year and it's still a great seat. I love the fabric colors of the serene and wish they'd make more seats with soft and gorgeous blues like this one. The click and safe snug harness is a wonderful feature and I really feel my child is safe in all of the Britax seats. I love how easy it is to take the cover off to wash without taking apart the seat to do it.

My husband is a Paramedic so safety was a huge concern when choosing a seat. We really like that it clicks to tell us it is tight enough and seems to protect our daughter well. We tried to use it rear facing but it didn't work well in our vehicles because of the top tether. We bought three of these so we wouldn't have to move them back in forth and will probably by three more for when my son outgrows his carrier seat.

This is our second Britax carseat. I have researched and asked several other mommies and they all recommend Britax! Love the colors, and the soft feel of the carseat. It is sturdy and durable. It fits fine in my small SUV, (if you're worried about the size).

Great car seat - so it's last year's model. Same great features as the other Advocate we purchased for nearly $400 for our other car.

Much sturdier than our previous Graco car seat and our son loves it so much more! I also love the many different options on attaching it and altering the seat to fit our son.

This is a beautiful car seat. It arrived quickly and was easy to install it replaced a graco model we had and seems much more secure. We love it!

It is a tad heavy to move from car to car but it's not hard to install and has great safety ratings

I purchased this carseat for my son. He's 7 months old and out growing his infant carrier. I read reviews and heard Britax is a great and safe brand. This carseat is very roomy.

the box is HUGE so it would have to be a ship to home thing! the car seat was a DREAM to put together cause it was all set to go from the box! install was a bit of an issue since it was going into a 2000 Jeep Wrangler and well Jeep Wranglers in 2000 were not so equipped for such an advanced car seat. After the police station couldn't assist me with the install the Jeep dealership sent a customer care rep to my HOME who quickly installed it .... and showed me how to adjust things with both seat and the jeep. So keep that in mind with installing ANY car seat ... dealerships pay a few employees to have such knowledge to assist us. Now that the top is off this car seat has been totally the best investment for my child safety and comfort! no question there.

We love this car seat! It is very easy to install and extremely comfortable. The colors are beautiful too! It is very large, but worth it if your car has the space. The safety reviews are wonderful. We also love the "Click and Safe" feature. It clicks when the straps have been pulled tight enough to ensure a proper fit on baby.

I read alot of reviews and Britax was rated high for durability. We are very happy with the car seat it is everything the reviews said it was. We would recommend it to others.

I purchased this car seat for my 19 month old daughter after much research online. I do feel this is a very safe car seat, and she will be able to grow with it. I also believe Britax has truly added great safety features that no other car seat offers. It was fairly easy to install in my Ford Taurus. I did watch the insatallation videos Britax has on their website, as well as read the manual. I did find that I needed to use the tether strap to get a secure fit. I installed it rear facing, and used all three methods for securing it: latch, lock off with seat belt, and the tether. I think it is very comfortable for her, and I love the design. I think it will be even better when it can be forward facing, as she will have more leg room. I was very pleased with the price I bought it at from Allbeebaby, and it arrived within days. Very happy customer, and I would recommend this seat and Allbeebaby to others. Make sure you read the manual and watch videos to get this seat installed correctly and so you are using it right. It is a big seat, but fits fine in my car.

I researched which car seat to purchase for our 10 month old twins for several months and kept returning to the Britax line of car seats, specifically the Advocate 70 CS because of its side impact technology, extensive safety features and use up to 70lbs. The Britax website had videos to watch about the safety of their seats, the testing the seats undergo and the quality of materials and care that is utilized in their manufacturing. Granted, the price tag is not small, but the seat can be used for several years and fabric is easily replaced if it becomes soiled or damaged over time. The seat is large so it may fit better in bigger vehicles. I liked the recline options and the padding is very comfortable for the child. The harness is easy to operate and the "click safe" feature is nice because it gives an audible click when the harness reaches appropriate snugness. I chose the Serene (aqua blue/tan) color because it was the lightest color option available. We live in a hot climate and the inside of the car is like an oven, darker fabrics become very hot. I really like the Serene, it is slighter darker than it appears in the manufacturers photo, regardless it is very nice looking. Overall, I have no complaints about the seat, and the kids seem to be very happy with it as well!
