Poor product, Great customer service

When I got this gate from UPS and opened it, the hinges of the door were missing.. I could tell it should have been connected already. I first called the manufacturing company who said that this gate was discontinued in 2006 and to call the retailer. I spoke with a representative from albeebaby.com who told me to send an email with pictures and they will call me back. I got a call back the same day and they told me they would arrange for UPS to pick up the gate the following business day and they will be sending a new one out that day. The day after the first gate was picked up, the new gate came. I was excited to see that this gate was intact. However, one problem with this gate was the bottom locking mechanism was not unlocking so I diabled that part and just use the side lock. I wish it was working 100% but I am still really happy that albeebaby.com exchanged the gate without much hassle.
