Good Full Size Swing for the Price
February 20, 2015
We just had twins and both love to swing, so we had to buy another so we could have two. Our older model is an old Graco swing that is out of production that we absolutely love with a tray, so we were looking for one that was similar. I really like the full size (we have two toddlers as well so a floor swing was problematic). The swing is very quiet which is nice. The song feature is fine, but only plays the same songs over and over so would get really annoying if you used it often, but we hardly ever do, so not a big setback. I like the speeds and the option to have a timer setting if I choose to do that. The speeds are nice and work well. The only thing we don't love is that the seat doesn't have much of a shape to it, it's more flat than our Graco, so when the babies are in it they don't seem to sit perfectly. They sit kind of flat. It works fine now that they are relatively small, but I'm wondering if the shape will be a problem with closing the tray when they're bigger, since there's not much room between it closing and our babies' legs. That said, it has worked for what we wanted it for, another swing to soothe the babies when they are cranky. It puts them to sleep or keeps them distracted long enough to get something else done for awhile. I've only had it for about a month, so I can't say whether it will last yet, but so far we like it.

Same Summer Infant Fox & Friends and Swingin Safari for a fraction of the price. The colors match our needs, and had all the function we wanted in a swing.

Cons
  • Assembly took a bit longer that I thought it would

Lull him to sleep

I have not yet assembled this item as one of the minor pieces was damaged when I received it. The plastic on one side of the pivoting toybar was cracked & now the bar can't be attached to the swing. I don't want to return the item since I live in Canada & that would be too much hassle. Is it possible to get a replacement piece instead?
Pros
  • I like the design & the fact that it doesn't take up much space.
