This seat is what we needed to make all the configurations possible when having a infant car seat. We like the tandem seat however it seems to be made less whole than the original seat. My toddler is petite short and slim and he is 3 and barely fits into the tandem seat. If you have a regular to a large toddler tandem will be snug and probably not comfortable. Overall this is a great seat as it comes with mosquito net and rain cover as well.

So we had the Silver Cross Wave for our first child and then when number 2 came along we added the tandem seat and we love it
Its slightly smaller than the original seat but its still very much a full size seat.

It does make a lot of pieces to unpack and fold to put in the car, you need a large boot space for two seats and a frame.
