A great zippy little stroller

I was deciding between this stroller and the new City Mini GT2, and I'm so glad I got this one. Overall the Swift fits what's important to me - manoueveribility, compactness and balance. This stroller is so easy to push around and the large air-filled tires give me confidence that the stroller should last for a long time. It also folds down really well and I love that it can stand on itself. It is also super well-balanced - I know Mountain Buggy prides themselves on having an excellent 'kerb pop', and this stroller is certainly the case. Overall this works well for me as I was looking for something that wouldn't take up too much space but still be sturdy and would endure being used a lot. (For comparison, the City Mini is larger, has a better sun cover and larger basket, but tips easily.)
Some things to note are that the sun cover is small (I had read this in other reviews too) and that the basket is on the small side. Regarding sun shade, you can buy the additional sun cover that covers the whole front, and it even comes with a blackout cover that you could use for naps! For the basket, if you can manage with a smaller basket, this would be fine. It isn't tiny, but also isn't the biggest. But because the stroller is so well balanced, you can hang things off the back and sides so that does give you some extra space.
Another thing to note is that the seat can be reclined completely flat! I really like this feature.
Overall, I'm really happy with this stroller and can see us using it for many years.

FACTS:- My small 2 year old child hardly fits in this pram any more;- I have had to replace the tyres countless times;- the breaks just broke beyond repair;- my pram lasted a total of 2 measly years;- giant waste of A LOT of money.

It's ok, but overpriced for the build quality.

The overall build quality & material selection is a bit disappointing at this price point. Its main benefit is its low weight and reasonably compact size, but it's a bit creaky and flexy feeling. I especially don't like the material selection for the grip - it's cheap and nasty feeling. The clips for the carrycot and they way it attaches are also a bit questionable. As I said, it's 'ok' but it either needs to be cheaper or have its manufacturing tolerances sorted so i doesn't feel so cheap and rickety.

I brought this buggy about a month ago, great little buggy very pleased with it nice and light easy to use. Folds up nice and small and fits perfectly in the boot of my ka, the only downside of it is the basket underneath it a bit small but otherwise great buggy. Used it on and off road

I bought this now couple of months ago since I was looking for buggy that is more compact and easy to use for traveling. My main requirements were - size, being able to fold the buggy one handed, tires that can handle all terrains. I am well impressed with it as it ticks all these boxes. It is not the lightest buggy, but this also means that it is very sturdy and solid. I really do not like how some of the pushchairs can become bit rickety and loose after few months of solid use. There is no chance it will happen to this one. My only concern was about the canvas material as I was worried it will stain pretty easy and it has since our 1st flight, but it is also very easy to wash so not really an issue for me. I was extra surprised how easy it is to push it.. no issue grabbing a coffee on morning walks and pushing it along one handed. And to my surprise I am able to use this jogging too and my little Pixie has been loving it! It looks pretty great too! Definitely recommend it!

I absolutely love my new Swift stroller. We bought it because we travel a lot and needed a good sturdy stroller for our son to use. It's easy to maneuver, curbs aren't a problem and cobblestone sidewalks are a breeze with this stroller. The only thing I would like to see improved is the adjustment for reclining, you need two hands to do this and it can be tricky if your kids a light sleeper. This to me is a minor issue however.

Faulty break (and future designs improvements)I bought the mountain buggy swift in August 2016. It is a great stroller, very small and compact and easy to manage on both outdoor trails and shopping/street strolling. When traveling, the seat reclining option makes it easy for your child to take a nap and folds up quickly with the touch and twist of one handle. I cannot be happier with the look and the feel. Cons: At around 6 months the break started to falter. As I was strolling through the city the break wouldn't click back into place and the stroller would be half in break mode and making a continuous clicking noise. I tried taking the wheels off to see whether any pebbles had gotten lodged beside the break wires, but even then there seems to be some misalignment with the wire of the break and the break pieces connected to the wire that stop the wheels. I see this as the main issue with the stroller. The stroller has a water bottle holder, but I would have also liked to have an option for coffee cup. The storage at the bottom is a bit small, although that is one of the reasons that the stroller is more compact.

I love the Swift so much I have even been caught chatting to strangers in coffee shops about how good it is. It just does everything I need it to do. It's lightweight. It is compact and so so easy to fold up and store in the boot of the car. It is perfect for a newborn as the chair can lie flat. It grows with the baby, becoming a pushchair in due course. I have a mountain buggy sleeping bag & storm cover too. Both excellent purchases. I live in Cumbria so need a warm and waterproof buggy. I couldn't have asked for better. I've been up mountains (yes, really!), round lakes, through forests and along rivers. I whole heartedly endorse this product. Well done Mountain Buggy! :-)

I'm a first time mom and was struggling to figure out if there's a perfect stroller for me out there. I'm also short. When I say short, I'm talking about grade school looking, 4'10 short. I thought finding a stroller was going to be tough. Luckily I did my research and found this beauty! The Swift is a lifesaver! It's so light and compact! I also got the carrycot for it as well. Thought it was going to be hard to switch out the carrycot to the Swift's original format but t wasn't! I get so many compliments too! Definitely going to upgrade to either the duet or +one when the husband and I go for baby number two in the future! Hopefully it'll be as great as the Swift is!

All in all I am very happy. But we bought this a few years after some friends of us bought the same one, and there were made some weird changes. F. e. the system to attach the cover to the carrycot. It is now complicated to install. Before there were some push-buttons, now its a strange system with elastic-bands.

I recently bought the Swift and was to be perfectly honest REALLY disspointed. It's tiny despite the product information saying it's suitable to carry up to 4 years (25 kg) I'd like to see a 4 year old fit in without their feet scraping on the ground. its also very plastic and flimsy feeling unlike the sturdier older versions which I've used before. We will be lucky if it lasts one child. This really isn't worth the $700 price tag buy any stretch of the imagination. I'd never buy this product again. In my view, Mountain buggy is no longer associated with the great quality prams it used to produce.

Most importantly it is VERY easy to push and does great in all types of terrain. My daughter absolutely loves it and I can tell she is super comfortable in it! I'd recommend the Swift to anyone! Bought this even though I had a brand new traditional stroller and am glad i did. The hard rubber wheels of the traditional stroller made it impossible to use on any sort of uneven ground. Took the mountain buggy to flea markets in a field and it has been easy to push thru it all!

In love with this buggy!! Super compact but still capable of going off road. Fits in my boot with heaps of room to spare. Carry Cot is awesome and my chubby 4 month old still fits. I'm 5f6 and the handle is perfect height for me. Only flaw I have found is that the carry cot is a little tricky to take off, as you need to hold the clips on the sides open while pulling carry cot off all at the same time. But that is super minor and I'm really happy with my purchase.

This is my second mountain buggy, as we needed to downsize from the plus one to the swift on moving from Australia to UK. They are in my opinion the best prams around. So well made, simple to fold, easy to manoeuvre on and off road, even one-handed. Great features on the swift like the peep hole and handbrake. Love love love this pushchair and would recommend to friends.

I spent a lot of time researching strollers that are lighter but still good all-terrain strollers and narrowed it down to this and the Baby Jogger GT mini. Ultimately we went with the swift as it was on sale but love it! My daughter isn't overly fond of the front facing so lay need to consider another stroller that has parent facing option but hoping she will start to like it more and it is very light weight, easy to push and fold up.

I am now using the Swift for my second child and it still impresses me. I haven't had to replace a single item on the buggy and I have used it almost every day for 3.5years. Due to its size it is easy to get on and off buses and tubes and the manouverability is hard to beat. I also have a maclaren techno which I used for the nursery run as I travel in peak hour and the smaller wheelbase makes it easier to find space on crowded trains. However pushing it is like pushing a full unbalanced wheelbarrow in comparison to the swift! If you want a functional buggy that doesn't take up too much room or break the bank then this is the one for you!! I also used the cocoon for my 2nd child and it fit neatly and safely and much easier than using a basinette when I needed to let my older child use the buggy.

I am embarrassed to say that the 2016 Swift was my third pram purchase, but boy was third time the charm! The wheels are the best - I go from rough cobbled city lane ways to bush walking paths to the beach and they provide the smoothest ride for my daughter. The ease of fold-up / -down is amazing, and it sits safely up on its back wheels (we store it in a hallway) or lying flat (in the car boot). I love the hand-break (it's a much smoother mechanism than the others I have tried), and the padding / grip on handle is perfect -- and I love the adjust ability of the whole handle bar. Best of all for me (I am 5'3"), it is a perfect, manageable height and size.

Over the past two years we have purchased a double stroller AND gifted a single Mountain Buggy stroller. We just love the prams - they are excellent quality: sturdy yet agile, solid framing, all seating and sun cover made of good quality canvas that doesn't fade from exposure to the elements or stain from kids' messes! I highly recommend! Well worth the money. One thing to note: we have used the reclining regular seat from newborn to toddler. For newborn we purchased foot muffs which laid flat in the stroller with the seat fully reclined. The babies were snug and safe & it saved us the cost of buying the newborn baby basinnet.

I have researched seemingly thousands of strollers, and keep coming back to this model. The Swift is sturdy, light, versatile, and made of be ry high-quality materials. On top of all this, it fits in the back of my tiny car's trunk. I look forward to utilizing this stroller for our next baby, due in a couple of months, as my firstborn rides the Freerider behind!

We love our Swift! The Swift fits perfectly in the car, it is not crazy big, so it fits in the the tight gaps that you want to get through in shops. We use the Swift on gravel in the park and also on farm tracks. The Swift handles it with ease and still looks and works the same as the day we purchased it. We also purchased a rain cover and sun cover to go with our Swift, we would recommend doing that with any buggy you buy, anything to make your child feel comfortable, no matter the weather.

This stroller is the bomb! Super compact and lightweight, yet very sturdy. Perfect for the urban resident who sometimes deals with rough terrain conditions (like our notoriously long Canadian winter). The only downside of the Swift is that combined with the carseat (ours is a MaxiCosi Nxt), the stroller's canopy is pretty much useless to cover the other half of the seat (like most travel systems will do). But beside that, it's the good stuff.

This buggy is great, very sturdy and great for running. My little girl loves it. Only down sides are that its not perfect when it needs to be folded (quite cumbersome/doesn't fold down very small) - although I very rarely need to do this, so not much of a problem for me. Oh, and the tires don't last very long - would be better if they were made thicker/stronger, need replacing more often than I would have envisaged - although mine does get a lot of use. Even with these issues, am happy with the product and would definitely buy again.

Lots of great thing in this buggy. Really like the air tires on a lightweight stroller which is hard to find. Also magnetic peekaboo window instead of Velcro and easy to use harness. What I didn't like, the gap between the canopy and the frame. Seems some strips of Velcro would be an easy fix and make the stroller seem more finished. Also, the recline is unnecessarily fiddly. Lastly, the canopy has okay coverage, but not great. Fabric was really soft and plush but not sure how easy it would be to keep clean. Overall, a good stroller with just a couple of niggles that kept it from being perfect

I bought the Swift with the Carry Cot for my baby boy born in February of this year. It has been amazing. Pretty easy to assemble, true one step fold and open, great car seat adapter, and I can switch from car seat to pram quite easily. The tires are air filled and can go on gravel and grass without problems and as for around town, it can go into any shop, even the change rooms at some shops! I wanted a strong, sturdy, compact stroller that should go off road and that is exactly what I got! I also used the carry cot as the bassinet for our boy when travelling. And when folded it easily fits into my hatchback! Can't say enough about this stroller! And the price is better than many of the "designer" strollers out there! Can't wait to take it to the mountains.

We have had the swift for 2 years and it had taken us everywhere from the shops to off road walking tracks and has been consistently amazing. Would never buy another brand

Great pram! It is great on all surfaces. It never gets stuck on uneven footpaths. I find it easy to use on a few steps etc. Good storage underneath. Very durable. Would recommend highly. Only thing I can fault is the shade cover. I wish that the shade could extend further - as my child's feet and legs are often in the sun. I bought the sun shade cover but it's awkward to put on and child doesn't really like it.

I received this stroller with my first born and enjoyed the versatility and compact nature of it throughout our adventures. Looking forward to using it for my next born who arrives in June.

Great little buggy!

We have both the urban jungle and swift buggies. We use the swift for travelling and out and about at shops etc - it stays in the car usually. We love the buggy - it fits nicely in the car, is easy to pop up and down and is just a really nicely made, solid buggy while still looking great. We have had issues with the swift handle tearing and having to be replaced - which may have been an issue with our version rather than the buggies generally - but it's an easy replacement and so far this handle is lasting fine. I bought one of the buggy liners from the luxury collection to style up the buggy a little more when our little girl came along. The only thing I'd say about swift to be mindful of is that it is 'shorter' seat wise than the urban and I have tall kids so they're out of the swift before they're 3yrs as their heads touch to the top of the hood - but I have super tall kids! We love Mountain Buggy as a whole - never had any real problems with their buggies etc.
