Great all-terrain stroller
By Lindsay

Bought this stroller for my twins. It wasn't great for the car seats. I bought the adapter and it worked, but it's not easy to use. I wasn't expecting to use this stroller much with the newborns, but it would be nice if it was a bit more functional. Now that the babies are older, it is fantastic. The stroller is easy to push and turns on a dime. Great for people of different heights as well as it has an adjustable handle.
Best Uses
  • Toddlers and older children.

I have an almost 2 year old and a new baby due any day now. The stroller was easy to assemble, and when I got the infant car seat, easy to switch and add the adapter. The adapter is no good, purchased clip 28 for my nuna PIPA infant car seat. It twists around on the frame, making it hard for me to click it in. And once I do click the car seat in, I can’t get it out! Not without a lot of struggle. Also, my 2 year old is a fairly small- to regular sized 2 year old. With the car seat attached, she has no room! It overhangs on her side. I have to recline the chair for her to fit next to the car seat. Cannot use the shade canopy with the car seat attached. The adapter came with a little funky one for the big kid seat... but doesn’t cover her from the sun at all really.
I’m really disappointed about trying to use it for a toddler and newborn.
It handles great, I love the hand brake and I like the storage underneath. And I like the shade canopy thing too! But can’t use it with the newborns car seat. This would probably be best for kids of the same age. Or maybe I should try the bassinet accessory.
I was just really hoping that I could click the new baby in and out of this stroller with ease and without losing space for my older one to sit.

Great stroller but on heavy side

We love the stroller - it’s easy to maneuver (even with one hand) and goes through most of doorways and elevators. However, it’s on the heavier side for me to lift and fold since I’m 5’3. Otherwise it’ll be perfect for us!

I bought this double stroller several weeks ago for our 5 month twins. I have 2 busy older children and wanted to get an all terrain stroller that would be easy to handle and fit through doorways.
All I had to do was attach the wheels and it was ready to go! Love the compactness of this side-by-side, we don't take up the entire sidewalk, it pushes easily with one hand and turns on a dime. Smooth ride over grass, wood chips and uneven surfaces. Looking forward to using this stroller for many years to come!

Great double stroller! Love that it is really as narrow as many single strollers but my girls don’t feel cramped or crowded. Only wish it was somewhat easier to unfold and store and was a little bit lighter weight. Otherwise, great, comfortable stroller with a nice comfy ride!

Excellent maneuverability. A little heavy when closed. Good storage. Perfect for our newborn (with bassinet attachment) and toddler. Only thing is installation is a little bit of a pain as instructions are not clear.
Horrible unboxing experience

I just got the shipment and was so excited to put this together. My excitement ended there. The directions booklet that comes with the stroller is absolutely useless. It took my husband and me 1-2 hours of frustration of putting it together and it's still not finished. We are doing the carrycot and one front facing seat configuration. We've had to put things together and then take it all apart multiple times because we realized we had done it backwards. I don't think we are dumb folks but putting this stroller together has made me feel like a total idiot. Haven't even started using it yet and am already beyond frustrated. In comparison, I have an easywalker stroller and when I unboxed that, I popped 3 easy pieces together and was on my way.

Mother of two (infant, large 2yr old) here. This is hands down the best stroller we have purchased. Fits through any door and allows us to get on trains, elevators, restaurants, etc. My 2 year old is ~30lbs and she fits comfortably with a winter jacket on. Great maneuverability. Very lightweight. Highly recommend.

I bought this buggy nine months ago for my twins and for this price I expected much more. The fabric looks really cheap and only nine month later first signs of damages are fact - faded and unstitched liner as you can see on the pic. Not torn but unstitched - really bad quality of the needlework. The big logo on the front panel got blurry on the second month and an it is supposed to keep feet - my kids' feet don't even get to there. Looks really ugly. Most of the parts creak especially the handle. The hand break doesn't work properly. I'm really disappointed with my choice. Very faulty product. The only advantage of the buggy is the size.

Extremely versatile narrow double stroller
By SwissDads

We got this stroller because of its narrow profile. And it does not disappoint. We have taken the stroller to many places, including many narrow openings which we thought we would not be able to get through, e.g. going through narrow ski mountain cogwheel car in Switzerland, narrow cobblestone street in Spain, narrow maze, all sorts of elevators, all sorts of restaurants, including a three-table hole-in-wall type causal dining venue (unfolded with our newborn twins sitting in the stroller next to our table)! So far we cannot think of a place where a single-stroller can go through but this stroller cannot.

Besides the skinny profile, the stroller is extremely well made (we also had a Peg Perego and we have tried Chicco). This one was among the best - the frame was extremely sturdy. We took the stroller through the endless steps of Granada (Spain) to the top of the hill without breaking anything. The fully lie-flat option is fantastic for newborns. The seat is fairly long when lie-flat - good for sleeping toddlers. The bumper bar in the front is equally sturdy. The fabric seems to be fairly durable. The storage basket at the bottom is also well made (much much better than the Peg Perego). Last but not least, the stroller was extremely easy to maneuver - we went through many super tight turns of a narrow maze with minimal amount of issues.

The only real downside is the weight. We lived on the third floor of an old building in Switzerland. It takes some effort to get it up and down the stairs. The narrow profile of course makes it challenging for bigger kids. Our 3-year-old daughter who is quite slim can easily fit in the seat and can comfortably sleep in there for hours. It gets a little bit tight with winter jackets. But it's still alright.

Overall, we are very impressed with the product. We highly recommend anyone considering a double stroller to get this. You won't be disappointed.

The best double stroller ever! The only thing to think for producers is the possibility to reverse a handle in order to give a parent facing position be possible even without carrycot plus... I wish you have done it by now, hope you'll think of smth till my next baby's birth;) About the size... I roll through doors without problems, and can not imagine how other double strollers enter through these doors..

I love having my Mountain Buggy to use at Baby Boot Camp stroller fitness classes. It's very maneuverable and light weight. Not to mention it holds my 5 year old comfortably when she comes to class with me. All of my equipment fits perfectly and zips in so I can run without worry of it all bouncing out. My clients often ask me to "test drive" my stroller when they're looking for a new jogging stroller. The quality and ease speaks for itself, Mountain Buggy strollers are top of the line.

We bought this stroller for our 3 month old twins and have been incredibly impressed with it. The seats are adjustable and the overall smooth performance makes it easy to push one handed.

We are excited to keep using this product as our girls grow and with the numerous accessories available, it will keep growing with us.

Tires are garbage and not covered under warranty
By Sylvie

on June 25, 2017
I suppose it is no coincidence that tires and inner tubes are not covered by the warranty. They are complete garbage. We filled the tires with the recommended 22psi during a cold Canadian winter day. Then a few months later during a hot day at the park, the two tires that were in the sun blew up. With two babies and no one to help me, I had to push the stroller home 4 blocks with the two flat tires. I regret not buying a stroller with solid tires. Wish that I would have read the reviews before buying this stroller. Very disappointed.

Does exactly what we wanted it for

We wanted a buggy that would allow our toddler to be able to see where she was going while we were out and about. Most it seems don't unless you go for the Donkey but it doesnt fit through many doors! Its easy to push and the steering is light and effortless thanks to the large tyres fitted. Easy to manoevre up and down pavements more so then our single bugaboo. Does what it says on the box, fits through all doorways we have come across and the little ones seem happy in it. We bought the silver cover which is nice but the carrycot is a different shade to the rest of the cloth for some reason which is a little irritating but livable!. Very easy to collapse once you know what you are doing, probably the esiest we have come across. Quality is ok, would be better with a more rigid mechanism to hold the sunshades up and maybe extend them a little more overall though we are very happy with our purchase.

After 17 strollers, I have to say, I might love this :D it beats other convertible strollers in the market! I have gone thru several side by side and single strollers. What accessories/upgrades I want to see in the future:- summer canopy/zip open panel for more coverage- smaller Joey tote, just not as long as current one, maybe more squore with lid and handlebar, almost like shopping basket- snacktray, specially when used as a single stroller. - carrycot+ when on seat mode, differen reclines!- better foam to the handlebar and bellybar. New model competes higher price class (baby jogger, bumbleride) so pls upgrade :) or have leather grip available as accessory. What I already love!- my 4 year old fits in!- smooth ride and turns in a dime- takes literally no space, width is amazing- love the new grid pattern- handlebar adjustment- footrests adjustable now- takes most carseat- single to double- easy fold

I bought the 2017 mountain buggy duet 2 weeks ago for my 3 year old son and now 5 week old daughter. It is wonderful so far. The bassinet was a bit of a struggle to assemble. But my daughter now loves it. The extra height in the seat makes a big difference for my tall son (he's in the 95th% for height). The seat is narrow but my son seems to like it. It is big when folded and heavy to lift into the car but it fits with room for groceries. I am constantly surprised at the spaces I've been able to push it through! It's no wider than my old urban jungle! It is very easy to push and steer. This is our third MB pram and we are just as impressed with it as the others. As you can see from the pic, the kids are very comfortable in it!
