Melissa & Doug Vehicles Jigsaw Puzzles in a Box

Bought for my 3 year old grandson. He loves it and we spend hours taking them apart alms putting them back together again.

My family and students love these puzzles. They are wonderful quality. They are built to last and enjoy.

These puzzles are great for beginners. Comes in a great wood storage box.

All products I purchased are actually for an 80 yr. old dementia patient, and he loves the puzzles. The pieces are sturdy, and a small number of pieces so he can put the puzzles together himself. He likes to take them out of the box and put the pieces back also. The Melissa & Doug toys are a real bonus for dementia patients. It's too bad they aren't advertised for dementia patients as well as kids.

The pieces are not from one solid piece of wood and would chip easily. Layer after layer, thin pieces of wood were breaking and coming off. It is very sharp and dangerous.

Small little box that contains 4 cute puzzles..Love that each puzzle is marked with a shape on the back to distinguish which belongs with which.

My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves these puzzles. He was used to the board puzzles but it didn't take long for him to get the hang of it.

I first found one of your wooden puzzles when I cleaned out my mother's house. It was named simply "Construction Box #26. My then 2.5 year old grand daughter fell in love with the puzzles, mainly because her daddy owns and operates most of those vehicles. She got so much fun out of putting them together I looked for other puzzles like that and found the Dinosaur and Vehicles jigsaw puzzles. She won't be 3 for another 3 months but she is already having success with the box of vehicles. She is a little afraid of the dinosaurs, especially the T-Rex with the big teeth. We both have hours of fun with these puzzles and are looking at more of your toys for future purchases.

Great for eye hand coordination, bilateral coordination, and etc. I love that most products a wooden making them durable, I just wish Melissa and Dough could come up with a clear covering/lid for all there board puzzles that include pieces so that the pieces are safe and secured after each use especially for traveling therapists. I hope this product last me a long time and I don lose any pieces.

Bought for my granddaughter for Christmas so hasn't been used yet but bought a different one last year and just brought it out again this year because she seemed too young for it last year. She is 3 now and loves it. Has been putting it together over and over so I'm assuming a different set like the vehicles will be just as enjoyable.

Great little puzzles, wooden container houses all of the pieces. There is a shape on the back of every piece so you can identify which piece belongs to which puzzle. Child can first sort by shape and then do each puzzle!

The jigsaw pieces get stuck and don't fit so well.

My 3 yold loves trucks and buses so he loves to play with this.

I like that 4 puzzles are contained so nicely in one small box. Our boy/girl twins can take turns and play well together (which is rare ha!). Our twins are 5yo now and do prefer larger puzzles, but this will be great for our 2yo soon.

Bought 1 of these for my 3 year old grandson's Christmas. He absolutly loves it. Plays with it every day when he is here.

I just happen to see this wooden puzzle on my way out of a store on Christmas Eve and grabbed it. My barely 4 yr old daughter LOVES it! She tends to rip the layers apart on cardboard puzzles and the one with knobs are too easy. I will be bookmarking this site and getting her more wooden puzzles. Thank you so much!

This set of puzzles was great to be able to take with us on travel. I fun, quiet thing for my 4 year old to play with. We also love all the other different sets.

I am a daycare provider. I have four children ranging in ages from 2.5 to 3.5. Everyday they request to play with these puzzles. I have the vehicle, pets and dinosaurs. Everyday they put them together for about a half hour in morning and a 1/2 hour in the afternoon. 12 pieces is the perfect amount for success. The wood pieces are very durable. Thanks for a great product!!!

I got this for my three year old son for Christmas, and what a hit! He loves the puzzles. I worried they would be too hard for him (other jigsaws made him frustrated) but he caught right on! Now to get the other puzzles boxes!

My son will be 3 in December and he LOVES these puzzles, we already have a couple of them and will definately buy him more. He started out needing quite a bit of help but can already do them all by himself, great product!!

My 3 1/2 year old daughter loves these puzzles. She loves to do each puzzle again and again (with some help at first, then independently). She is so proud of her 'achievement' every time she finishes a puzzle. Then, the 4 puzzles fit back into the wooden box...nice & neat.

My two-and-a-half year old LOVES this puzzle. He received it as a "big brother" gift when his little brother was born. He is addicted to this puzzle, and if we put it away he immediately wants to take it out and put it back together. After about 3 days of having it, he was able to put it together by himself without help. The shapes on the back are a good learning tool, too.

My mom bought this and the sea animal set for my boys 3 and 4. They spent hours putting them together and taking them apart. They seem to be high quality and are easy enough for my 3 year old to put together without help. I also like that each puzzle has a different shaped stamp on the back so if they get mixed up they are easily sorted, which also adds to the challenge for our 4 year old- mix them up and let him sort them as he puts them together as the puzzles are a bit easy for him. I love the little storage boxes!

My son is 2 yrs (26 months precisely) and he loves the puzzle. He selected it on his own and being a car/vehicle lover, he had to get it. We loved the wooden part of it. Initially we had to help him. But after a while (like 1 week) he was on a roll and started creating the puzzles on him own. He usually does it twice-thrice a day and its one of his favorite past-time. Love it!

My two year old loves to do do these puzzles over and over while he eats his meals. It's a great way to keep him at the table!

My son is 27 months old, I got this set for him because he showed an interest when his grandmother was doing a large puzzle over the holidays. He loves it, does them over and over for hours, it took him about 3 days to figure out the concept to be able to do it on his own, but he likes us to watch. I am hear to buy some other sets.

My son is 2.25 and he LOVES these puzzles. The wood pieces are more resilient than cardboard, the storage box makes for easy clean up but most importantly he LOVES to do them.

Love Melissa and Doug products, especially puzzles! Nice wood box and wood pieces. Pics are delightful to look at. The only thing I don't care for is that my son didn't really have a good pic to look at to try to copy to make the puzzle. The only pics of each puzzle is on the side of the box that holds all the pieces and we would have to hold up the box upright to see the pic of the puzzle. It's just a bit inconvenient, especially for my special needs child. But I would definitely NOT let that stop you from buying this puzzle!!!

My son is 2.5 and he puts your puzzles together almost every day.
the pictures are concise and easy to recognize.
He is able to recognize which pieces goes with which picture - without looking at the back label.
It is great the that puzzle pieces are not interchangeable with other pictures.
the Size of the puzzle is perfect for his little hands, not too big and not too small.
I am going to buy a few more for my friends and relatives.

we take this out to dinner. dosen't take up any room at the table and can keep a 2.5 year old busy until the meal is served.

My son, just turned 3, adores these 4 puzzles - he loves the pictures, and keeps wanting to do all 4 over and over again. I am thrilled he has managed to master the idea in about 3 sessions, and that he enjoys them so much. These encourage his visual development, creative thinking, fine matching skills, and fine motor skills (just putting the pieces together). We do these together for fun -he puts the pieces together and I comment as he does them, and only give him clues when he asks for help. This size is just right - 12 pieces, enough to challenge without overwhelming -then another 3 puzzles if he has the energy. His little face beaming with a sense of achievement every time he completes one warms my heart. EXCELLENT!
