This a beautiful car seat, that's functional as well. The color of the intense red is gorgeous. The car seat is light, reclines and it's very easy to install and use. We have Britax and go the Priori for second car. Well Priori iss being used in the primary car. Again, it's more compact, light, beautiful and easy to clean. Feel it's not at hot in summer time as the Britax which is a lot more padded.Overall, if you don't mind having the weight limit it's a great car seat.

Love this seat!

This is a great looking seat! It is easy to install for the most part, looks awesome in my car, and my son is so much happier with the huge recline feature. The straps get a little twisted now and then but it's super easy to fix. I love the red, however in my car with no tinted windows it has one little spot that is starting to fade after about 4 months of use. However, it is still great for my son, and fits in my medium sized sedan perfectly. Not to small to feel unsafe and not to big where no one can sit with him! I am very happy about the value I got in the seat!
Pros
  • small, nice to look at, seems comfortable
Cons
  • fading of color on the top

I know you're not suppose to pick a safety item by its looks but this car seat has both looks and safety. I love that it's not 'baby' colors and patterns. The strap hold hooks are nice.

Maxi Cosi Priori Convertible Car Seat, Intense Find
April 10, 2012
The Intense Red Convertible Car Seat is not my first purchase from Maxi Cosi; also bought the Phantom. I reviewed many different car seats before purchasing the Maxi Cosi Priori. Equally loved. They are a bit pricey, but worth the money for what it has to offer. Very secure when you figure out the straps for the buckles (in the back); cushioned for comfort; convertible for lasting use.
Pros
  • Convertible and awesome looking. 5 Star rating.
Cons
  • It's hard to alter the straps, or take off the covering to clean it, but the pros overwhelm the cons.

Great product. Great price

I have the maxi cosi mico infant car seat that matches this one, so I decided to buy this convertible car seat so they will match and the price was great. Now having used it, I am very pleased.
Pros
  • Recline
  • Little clips on the sides to hold back the harness when putting the baby in
Cons
  • Doesn't recline as far back as some other car seats I looked at

Great Car Seat for a Limited Time
March 24, 2012
Great quality car seat, easy to assemble and disassemble for washing as well as securing to car. Not too big in case you have a smaller car. When placed backward facing, it actually took up less room than our Graco infant car seat. The angle is easily adjustable and the seat is quite comfortable for our 6 month old baby. The only gripe is that we didn't notice it was only up to 40lbs front facing. We were debating between this and a Britax but went with this since it was on sale for half the price of a Britax and the color matched our Britax B-Agile stroller. Now it seems the life of this car seat will be half of the Britax as well. We will probably end up buying a carseat/booster convertible at 35~40 lbs which will end up costing us MORE in the long run.
Pros
  • Great quality. Easily adjustable. Prettier than the standard drab grays and blacks of other convertible car seats. Comfortable for baby.
Cons
  • Only up to 40lbs.
