I ordered this car seat as a replacement for my first Graco Snugride that expired. The car seat that was sent to me had a manufacture date of 8/2013, almost 2 years old already!!! As a car seat technician, I knew to look at the manufacture date and date of expiration for the car seat (most Graco infant seats expire within 6 years of the manufacture date). These dates are important for new parents to look at if they plan to use the car seat when they have another child. Albee Baby was quick to help me return the car seat, BUT I urge parents to not let this happen to them and be diligent in looking at manufacture dates/expiration dates of any car seats that are bought. It is important when planning to use them with multiple children.

Our last car seat was also a graco snugride and we were happy with it. It lasted well for 4 kids and still looks new. It's expired now so we purchased this one. This one is even better. Love the soft cushion and the built in padding. Our baby is only 1 week old but he seems very comfortable. Seat fabric is very cute!

Besides the buckle recall, the swap was relatively easy. The best and safest car seat available. Too bad they discontinued the best. My son loves the pattern too.

This is quite nice. ONly that the size cover lining will not stay once plugged out.

Graco is known for their world famous car seats and this one proves why. The seat is comfortable and yet protects the baby from any impacts. This has a decent weight range (5-35) so it remains useful for a longer period. Easy to install and to detach from the base. However the car seat is slightly on the heavier side. We got a great deal and the shipping was bang on time.

I liked my old Snugride for my last two children, and purchased this for our next baby since it's one of only a few models that will work with our stroller (Graco classic connect). I love that the canopy rotates around the entire front of the seat, so you can block the sun no matter which angle it is pointing. I haven't found that feature on any other car seat yet (not even on the new Snugride click connect seats). It is on the heavier side but overall I am happy with the features of this seat. My only complaint is that the seat (which I ordered and received less than a month ago) has a manufacture date of over a year ago. That is one less year I'll be able to use the seat due to the expiration date. We purchased our last car seat at a store and it was manufactured less than a month before we bought it. Buyers purchasing from this site should be aware of this. Otherwise the price was good and the shipping was fast.

I bought this car seat recently, looks pretty, can't wait to use it for my baby soon.
