Sturdy, Functional, Good Value!
December 31, 2020
I was looking for a good sturdy jogging stroller to help me get back into the swing of exercising but I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on yet another stroller. I purchased the GB X1 and ended up loving it! So far, I've gone jogging with the stroller several times and found it very sturdy and responsive to turns. The area that I live has many cracks on the sidewalks/roads and the stroller handles these bumps much better than my $700 normal stroller. I highly recommend this jogging stroller. The only caveat to using this as a normal stroller is the small basket underneath.

Best lightweight running stroller (in the price range)
October 26, 2020
First of all, the brand is great which gives a good idea of the quality. Overall, this stroller corresponds to the expectations with respect to smooth ride and space under the seat. The bonus is the weight compared to other running strollers. The only downside I can see now after using for a few months is that it’s pulling to one side and there’s nothing I could do to fix it. I still recommend this product!
Pros
  • Lightweight
  • Folds compact for a running stroller
  • Good storage
  • Several pockets for the child and parent
Best Uses
  • City and countryside
Cons
  • Became unbalanced after a few months of use and can’t be repaired

Stroller somewhat disappointing
July 24, 2020
I was looking for a compact, lightweight jogging stroller and didn't want to spend nearly $600 on competition stroller Bumbleride Indie so I chose this one. Some things I don't like are:

**The narrow opening on the large storage basket makes the storage area nearly worthless; a diaper bag would easily fit if the opening was designed differently.

The stroller has some bounce/wobbliness. We'll have to be gentle with it. Feels like the middle hinge lacks strength. Hope it lasts for several children.

Clip on cup holder fits only a narrow water bottle.

**The back of the seat is lumpy and doesn't seem at all comfortable. I hope it smooths out.

It was easy to put together and is an attractive color. The ride on gravel is bouncy.

I bought this because it was on sale for $160. I feel I got what I paid for. It is not worth paying full price!!

This stroller is FAST!

Overall I'm pretty happy with this jogging stroller. I use it with my 3rd baby. He's 4 months old right now....a little too small for this stroller at the moment, so I make him a little booster seat before we head out on runs so that he fits better. Pros: the front wheel can swivel or lock in place, it has a hand break, the canopy is large, has an adjustable handlebar, and it's a fast stroller. Cons: no cup holders/tray on the handle bar for whoever is pushing the stroller ( it does come with a detachable cup holder but it kinda sucks), no tray for baby, there are no accessory options to purchase, I wish the handle bar was made of rubber so it would last longer with all the sweating and sun exposure.

Overall: great $ for a pretty decent jogging stroller.

Love This Stroller
July 16, 2020
The GB X1 Urban Jogging Stroller by Volt is a very nice one for the money. My husband & I take our 4 month old grandson walking with this stroller. The seat has three positions and a canopy with three positions and a see through mesh in the back of the canopy, which are perfect for our little guy. We wanted a stroller with bicycle like tires that we could put air in instead of plastic wheels that wear out quickly. It is easy to maneuver and has a holder for your water bottle as well as a small zippered pocket in front of the handle and one large pocket underneath the seat. The brake is easy to use too. We love this stroller!!!
Best Uses
  • We don't jog and this is a joggers stroller, however we walk a lot and needed something that handles nice & rolls without the wheels turning unexpectedly.
Cons
  • The only thing I miss about the stroller is a tray across the front, otherwise this stroller seems to have it all.

Great for the price!

First, if you're going in to this with expectations of matching a $500 BOB jogger, you're in the wrong place. The price point on this is markedly different and as such you should set your expectations accordingly. With that said, I'm pleased with this. My wife and I are casual runners and log a few miles weekly on the local "trail" AKA paved walking path and crushed, packed limestone. We wanted something a bit more stable that our City Mini GT. Initial impressions:

1) Extremely easy to assemble. Snap on the wheels and the cup holder and you're ready to go. Inflate the tires to about 35 PSI using a bike pump or air compressor.

2) Light weight. Considerably lighter than our City Mini.

3) Folding an unfolding is easy but you have to get the flick of the wrist down to get past the middle point. You'll see.

4) Really nice sun cover, hood, etc. that's just as good as the one on our city mini.

5) The larger, air filled tires do a great job of smoothing out bumps are easy to maneuver.

Cons:
1) The light weight comes at the cost of using heavier, more rigid materials. The frame has some side to side sway or flex that you can feel when running. This isn't necesarrily a bad thing since a super rigid frame would mean that every little bob while running would translate into a jerky back and forth motion for your child.

2) The shoulder straps have removable pads, which is nice, but I wish the pads were a little smaller.

Again, I think you'll be please with this if you go in with realistic expectations.

Awesome stroller

I am extremely impressed by both this stroller and this whole website. I bought this stroller here for about $40 cheaper than I found it on amazon.

The stroller itself is so easy to put together, very easy to put up and down, and glides so smooth it nearly drives itself. Very happy with this purchase!

Great buy for the price! Smooth and sturdy.

We bought this jogger for my husband to go on runs with our 20 month old. The stroller is big enough to hold our toddler comfortably. It is smooth and easy to push, amazing shock system. We wish the seat sat up all the way ( it has a slight recline even in the most upright position) but I think this is a thing with most strollers for child safety. Definitely recommend buying if you’re not looking to commit to a super expensive jogger or want to use it as a second stroller.

Awesome stroller

I recently purchased this stroller for use with my 7 month old grandson who I care for 2x per week. I didn't purchase it for jogging, I purchased it to be able to take my grandson on walks on our property; in the grass and field. I am soooo pleased with this stroller. It is very well constucted and I could put it together myself. The wheels make it easy to push through the grass and going up hills is a good workout. Also, it is a great price and great quality!
