Baby slept 7-10hrs nightly at 7weeks in this with NO motion or sound on. Best investment by far.

This wasa gift for our baby shower and we used it the first 2 months and now the side to side motion won't work without making a very louding clicking noise !

I gave one star because my daughter loves the chair but less than a month of being used the swaying motion can no longer be used. It makes a loud clicking noise and if u put on higher speed the clicking noise gets horribly worse. I bought from Target and they no longer have available.

I bought two of these seats for my twins. They love them but the quality is poor. The machine won't turn on and I have to unplug it to get it to work again. I bought it before the girls were born they have only been using it a month. I'm very disappointed. I bought it from Costco and they don't even sell the product no more. If you look at stores in Canada they no longer carry this product. Such a waste of money.

I bought this 2 months ago and it was a life saver. But it has already started to slow. Especially the side to side I sometimes have to give it a little nudge to start moving. And the vibrate doesn't work. IT is beautiful and has comfortable material that is easy to keep clean.

I was excited for this and wanted it to be everything anyone would expect buying it. Our baby loved it while it worked. First the up and down started making loud noises and then completely stopped. Now the side motion is doing the same loud noises a couple days later. It was a gift so we don't have a receipt. I'm so disappointed. My husband was in a serious accident and is now unable to work, having an amputation so it isn't like we can afford to just go out and buy something else. Add in a colicy newborn and I'm completely frustrated. We needed this to be good working quality.

This was a gift and has been a life saver!! Love the neutral colors.

I bought this swing for my newborn. Horrible sound is played when the vibration bottom is pressed and swing makes awful clicking noise when side to side motion is pressed. I wish I chose a different model. I can't find the receipt so now I'm stuck with this thing just taking up space

I received this as a gift from my mom for my last baby when it first was released. I have three boys and it has been my favorite product so far. The motions are amazing and he really liked it. There are some issues that I have had. I am on my second one now because the buttons on the first seat started to malfunction. I would turn it on and try to adjust the speed and it would turn off. It would take a few attempts to get it started. I figured this was a bug in the design that hadn't been worked out yet since it was a brand new product. I called fisher-price customer service and they were amazing at getting me a new seat. Very friendly to work with. They sent me a new seat, but a few weeks later I started having the same problem. He is pretty much grown out of it now, so I don't really feel like going through the work of getting it replaced.

Bought this for our first child. He's now 4 months old. A month after having it, it started making nose and stopped running properly. Unfortunately we didn't keep the receipt. We are stuff with junk and our child can't even enjoy his swing! Let down for sure!! Would not recommendo to anyone!! Waste of money! A safety hazard!

We already had a similar product in our home but baby was not finding it all together as soothing as we hoped it should be. When this product arrived, what we noticed right away was that it has more features than the other brand and most notably a vibrate function. Our baby really seems to enjoy this part the best, she finds the vibrate soothing enough to get a rest. The features include an up/down and a rotate motion which isn't as intricate as other seats, but I like that you can adjust the speed of both. The overall footprint is the same aa comparable products but i like that this is much taller so we dont have to bwnd down so far to get her (we are both tall). The sounds are nice too with good volume control. Another notable feature is that the seat can tilt from flat to a little bit of an incline which is great for our baby with reflux. The newborn insert fits our 8 lb baby very well to keep her snuggled in. Overall, this product has been a really great addition to our home for our newborn.

This product has been amazing so far! Before receiving the Soothing Motions Seat, we had looked at another similar seat from a different baby product retailer-but opted against it due to the high cost. When discovering the Soothing Motions Seat existed, we had to try it and we are so glad we did. It is a much more affordable option and our new baby loves it! The modern and gender neutral design is great. The seat reclines and is comfortable. It is sturdy and safe which is important. We also have a swing, but this takes up less space which is a plus. The different motions seem to soothe our baby and the vibration option is wonderful to have. The variety of sounds to pick from are also nice. The overall features and design of this product were very well thought out. We have not used our baby swing since we started using this product because our baby loves this seat! I really don't have anything negative to say about this product and we will continue to use it as long as we can!

We love the Soothing Motions Seat! My daughter is 2 months old and wants to be held constantly. The bouncing and swaying motions of this seat comfort her and allow me some time to get other things done. The seat also has a vibration setting which is what she liked in another seat that we have. I’m glad we can now combine bouncing and swaying with vibration. You can choose to use just bounce, just sway, or bounce and sway together. You choose the speed for each motion and can add sound and vibration. I would love the seat even more if it had a memory so I didn’t have to set these options every time I used it as we mostly choose the same combination of motions. It’s just a small inconvenience, not a major issue. This chair looks so comfortable! It has a very soft and inviting insert. She has fallen asleep in this seat many times! The safety straps add protection without being too much in the way. I love that there is a mirror in the mobile attachment. My daughter looks up at herself and has started “talking� to her reflection. She loves it! I only wish the mobile had some way of turning without being manually spun. We don’t really use it because who wants to sit there and spin a mobile?! The seat was really easy to put together! It took me less than a half hour. It is very sturdy and the grips on the bottom keep it from sliding on our hardwood floor. I believe the height is perfect for setting a baby in the seat, especially a sleeping baby. One of the main reasons I wanted to try this seat over a few different swings was the amount of space it took up. This seat hardly takes up any space at all. When it is swaying back and forth it doesn’t really go past the legs so it doesn’t bump objects that are next to it.

I've had this motion seat for a month now and I really like it. The seat is soft, supportive and comfy for baby. It's very cute and gender neutral. I wish the seat was a little bigger because I feel like my baby will outgrow it before I want her to but she is a long baby. I love all the different ways this seat can move. The slow speed is perfect for when my little one is already asleep and the faster speeds are great for helping her calm down and fall asleep. My baby loves to be bounced so it's great that this seat can do that and turn her at to see around the room at the same time. We use it multiple times a day and it's held up great. It was easy to put together and I appreciate that the seat cover can come off easily for washing. The buttons are easy to use. It turns on and off quickly and easily. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the nature sounds. It says it has two setting but they are almost identical. It does also play music though. I love the variety of options this seat has and how comfy it is for baby. Overall a great product especially for when you need to put baby down but give her the soothing rock of being held.

This seat was easy to setup and took less than fifteen minutes. The seat is easy to use and has really nice features. Each motion speed is adjustable and volume as well. Vibration is not adjustable but seems to be right for its purpose. Only thing we'd like to see different is a deeper/bigger seat and increased weight limit (20 lb limit) to get a longer use out of it.

I had considered a comparable, but much more expensive product. This has the same features it is much more affordable. To start, assembly, like all my FP products, was a breeze. We decided our large kitchen would be the holding grounds because we tend to spend most of our time there and is often where I need a place to put baby down the most. I wish I had this sooner - my son is about 5m old and even he was happy to recline in here for a brief nap or for some mommy down time while I prepared dinner. He also didn't cry during our meals so it was nice to see him happy. It has a nice bouncing and rocking motion which is more natural than most swings which seem a little bumpy. It's also very comfortable!

This swing is beautiful and comes with many features for it's price point! My favorite is how compact the seat is and how beautiful the design and colors are; it truly blends in well with my home decor. My daughter really enjoyed the different motions this seat provides, and also found the mobile interesting. It is great for an easy nap time or just some much needed quiet, relaxing moment. At first I questioned the design of adding legs to the base - why not just make it more compact? - but I ended up LOVING this feature as it has saved my back from having to bend too low and it gave baby a different view! The only negative about this seat is the low weight limit (20lbs) and how many steps are required for assembly. My heart sank when I saw how many screws needed to be installed and how many separate pieces were in the box. Total assembly time was about 45 minutes from opening the box to plugging it in (I also have a curious, helpful toddler). This is definitely a before-baby arrives project. All-in-all, I love this seat and think it's a great bang for your buck! In comparison to similar designs from other manufacturers, the Soothing Motions Seat wins in both price and features, and is certainly worth the hassle of assembly.

I wish I had this swing when my baby was younger. My large for his age baby is 5 months old and will soon outgrow the weight capacity (20 lbs). He doesn't nap in it but he still enjoys getting sway and reaches for the mobile. At least he's not crying! It only took 15 mins to set up. The installation was easy and fool-proof: every part can only fit one way, and all the screws are the same. The seat is relatively higher off the ground compare to other swings. At first, I was afraid it may topple over, with my two year old and two dogs running around, but it is built very sturdy. The higher seat is also nice since it's closer to eye level so it's easier to watch the baby while I'm doing chores. Plus it's easier on my back when picking up the baby from it. The mobile swings out of the way so you don't have to worry about hitting it when placing or picking up your baby. The seat's motion bounces and sways so that it's similar to mom's rocking movement. My baby doesn't seem to care which motion(s) I turn on as long as it's moving. The music is soothing and isn't distracting for me. Pros: - AC adapter! - Seat higher off the ground - Easy installation - 15 mins - Mobile swings out of the way - Neutral colors Cons: - low weight limit

Best swing around. Easy to assemble and it doesn't take much space in a room. The motions are amazing and it helps soothes my DD who always wants to be carried. The padding is soft and has good support. It can easily be removed to be washed. The cons for this product is that it makes a weird sound as if the power will die when the swing is in the up and down motion. Also, it would be nice if there was an option for the mobile to automatically spin. Love the mirror on the mobile as well. Keeps my DD amused.

This seat does everything! It bounces up and down, sways side to side, vibrates, and plays music. Depending on my daughter's mood, we use any combination of those things. It has a nice soft insert that's easy to wash and the entire seat doesn't take up much room at all, it's very parent friendly. It also has brightly lit buttons that are color coded so you know what you're doing even in low light. It was easy to put together and overall has been great with my newborn. I would absolutely recommend this product!

I haven't had the seat for very long but I already love it! It was very simple to assemble, it took maybe 10 to 15 mins & all you need is a Phillips head screw driver . One of my favorite features so far is the the size. It's frame is small enough that it doesn't take up a ton of space like other swings do. Although the frame is small compared to other swings it has a lot of nice features. I like the fact that it isn't a traditional swing that sways side to side. Instead it bounces up & down & pivots from side to side, more like the motions you make with your own arms trying to sooth a crying baby. I like that it has 10 songs, which seem to be partly sleepy lullaby songs & partly day time fun songs. It also has 2 nature sounds, the only thing I wish the swing did have that it doesn't is a pure rain sound without any other noises (birds, frogs etc) with it. Although my daughter does enjoy the nature sounds so it definitely serves it purpose. One feature many swings do not have that this does is volume control (that actually makes a difference) for everything, which is wonderful & many different speeds for motion. There are some dangling toys too & a mirror above, all of which can be detached if you don't want them. The toys above the baby do not rotate around like on many swings, I believe they are more for the little one to play with instead of watch though. I do like that the bar holding the mirror & toys can not only be removed but also adjusted from side to side, which is nice if you want them there for the baby but not directly above their head. The swing does have a recline position but it doesn't seem to make too much of a difference. All and all I absolutely love the product & would definitely recommend it to others. Wish I would have had this for my first child!

First of all, assembly was quick and easy. All portions of the items lined up perfectly and the screws were easy to install. My only suggestion is that you need a long neck screw driver and I wouldn't recommend using a drill because the threads will strip. As we were searching for a baby swing, we needed something that felt like I was still holding her. Otherwise, she wakes up pretty easily as she's a very fussy baby. This swing is perfect for that feeling for a few different reasons. The pillows it comes with are soft and cradle the head giving it a snug comfortable feeling when she's in it. A definite plus is that the padding is washable. Also, the different types of rocking, bouncing, and swaying make her feel as if I'm still walking around with her, allowing me to get chores done around the house and spend time with our toddler. However, as I stated, she is a fussy baby and doesn't like to not be in my arms so we have to put her in the swing under the right conditions, like she's either already sleeping or really drowsy. She has not gotten used to being put into it while fully awake, but I'm hoping over time that will change. As for the look of the swing, it's adorable! The pattern is simple and not overwhelming. The swing is also smaller than most swings out there. It's compact size allows for us to have it in our living room without it looking like it's taking up too much space. Even better, it's not heavy so I can move it around the house with me if need be. There's also a wide variety of sounds to choose from and it plugs right into the wall so I don't have to worry about it running out of batteries while in the middle of her nap. The only thing I wish for this swing is that the mobile would turn or light up. I love the shapes on the mobile but it doesn't really keep our baby entertained while in there wide awake. All in all, I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

When I received this motions seat I thought it would be similar to the swing. I was wrong and pleasantly surprised buy all the movements it could do and better yet all at the same time. My little boy loves the swaying of the seat along with the vibrations. It's super comfortable and is easy to get him in and out of. The seat doesn't sit to low to the ground to where it would hurt your back, it's the perfect height off the ground. The only downside of the product is that the mobile isn't the most extravagant but none the less it's a great product.

This seat is easy to assemble, the fabric is soft and the motions are smooth. Its easy to clean when necessary. It takes up way less space than an actual swing. My son loves it because it gives him a more seated position instead of being on his back in the swing.I am very happy with my purchase.

I like that it plugs into the wall. The swing I have eats up batteries. Before I had this I would bounce my son on an exercise ball. Now he gets the same bouncing feeling without me having to hold him.

I like this product as it allows for various movements that our swing does not allow for. It has a cute toy bar that is removable and a mirror on it. It has various forms of music or white noise on it too. I also like that it has various speeds for movement. I dislike that when it moves from side to side, specifically to the left it makes a loud clicking noise. We tried to tighten and loosen the screws, but that did not help. The noise is loud and sounds like knocking or rubbing. Also, my son is average percentile for weight, but is above average percentile for length and he just fits in the seat. His feet are beginning to hang over.

The instructions are easy to understand and follow. Everything click and connects. It took me and my 2 years old 30 minutes to assemble. My 3 months old love it. It has options to either bounce, swing, or both. I just wish the mobile has a wind up key. Thank you Fisher Price!

Keep in mind that everyone needs different things. I will point out for you the various things I love and the things I would change. I have given it five stars because it has all the features I need, and it has beyond surpassed similar items I've tried. PROS: *I didn't even notice that it had a mirror on the mobile until my husband pointed it out. Nice touch! *Plugs in - no more pricey and annoying C and D sized batteries that you forget to take out between babies... *It has simple lines and a modern, current design. Has a soft pattern that blends in with decor. The mobile has a modern look, and since babies only see simple shapes anyway at this point, it's parent-friendly too. *It's not huge. It takes up little space in my home. *The buttons are almost fun to push - they have a slight colorful glow. It has very streamlined functionality for so many features. I was very excited to try this swing in exchange for an honest review. I have a 4 month old son who just loves this swing. First of all, it is small and does not take up lots of space like other swings. It plugs in to the wall instead of using batteries which I love! It has a few different motions: up and down; side to side or both plus the option of vibration. It also plays music. My son fell asleep in the swing withing 10 minutes of putting him in it. My only complaint is that I wish I had this swing sooner! Although my son will still use it for several months, it would be really nice for the newborn stage. I have tried a few baby swings in the past, and this one is my favorite because of all the options it provides. It was pretty easy to put together also.

We've had this product for about a week and we love it! It mimics a mothers motion very well and offers many features. The only gripe that I have is that it doesn't bounce faster.

I received this product for my 2month old son. Very easy to assemble, took me about 15-20 minutes by myself. It has a very clean, geometric design; but I think a darker fabric would be more practical due to inevitable spit up or diaper explosions. The seat has a reclined position and a laying down position, sways side to side similar to a swing or if you were swaying baby in arms, it also moves up and down like a bouncer. It also has vibration which I liked, as well as music and nature sounds. All of the motions have speed options which i liked and the music has volume levels. My son loved the mirror on the mobile but he kept looking for it to move - which it does but it is not on a motor so it is hand pushed and not continuous. Overall I think it's a great seat with a lot of options for use, doesn't take up a lot of space wither and easy to move if needed

We purchased everything for our 3 month old. However, the swing made her uncomfortable, the bouncer she didn't like too much, but this... She loved! She loved to look at herself in the mirror under the mobile. She would see herself and start to smile. She lays in there for a long time which allows me to get things done around the house. She is very comfortable when shes in it. She loves to be held and the way this soother is designed is if she was being held in my arms. She feels secure and safe. Putting this together was very easy. I wish all baby products were that simple. Overall wonderful soother!

I wish they made this in adult sizes! The music, colors, padding and movements are so smooth and comforting. My 5 month old son loves it and my 2 year old wishes he could use it! A solid and wonderfully made product. I feel safe with my baby in it!

I love this seat! I received this seat for free in return for my unbiased opinion. I love this seat, I only wish I would have had it when my son was a little younger. My only issues is that the seat cover is not more attached to the base. This seat has so many wonderful features, like up and down motions as well as back and forth, you can control the speed with an easy to use menu and I would suggest this to anyone with a newborn especially. My son is 5 months and he loves it. What a great product this is.

I received this product for my review. I'll admit that I was a little nervous at first because I had to put it completely together. Thankfully, the directions were really easy and it only took about 10 minutes. Make sure you have a Philips head screwdriver handy. The seat almost reminds me of an egg, and has a swinging/swaying motion, vibration and music. The music is either wordless nursery rhymes or white noise (like birds, frogs, rain, etc). The buttons that control the different features are camouflaged in with the base of the seat, and lights up different colors when turned on. I personally like that the buttons are harder-than-expected to press because it prevents my toddler from starting the seat. I also love that buttons are self-explanatory of what they do, so there's no second guessing of what you're pressing. I absolutely love the bouncing feature. My colicky son is only happy when someone is holding him, and it's really hard to get anything done during the day. I put him in the seat, started the bouncing feature, and he instantly stopped crying and fussing. This is definitely a must-have for all new moms! This is definitely a must-have for us!

Feature wise - this seat is everything you could ask for to make baby happy! With both a sway and bounce feature, it's the next best thing to mom and dad's arms. I appreciate that both the bounce and the sway features have their own settings, with 5 levels each - which allows you to customize your child's experience based on their preferences. My daughter loves to constantly be on the move, so having the ability to sway and rock together has been an absolute lifesaver!

I had bought top of the line smart innovation swing like the mamaroo and my daughter hated it! I saw this one advertised and it had amazing reviews. If your baby needs extra soothing, this is the swing for you! She immediately falls asleep in it.

I've had this soothing motions seat for nearly a month now, and I absolutely love it. It was pretty easy to put together and I love that it can be plugged in rather than requiring batteries to run. The different motions it goes in really soothe my baby. I have tried different swings and gliders, and this by far has been my favorite. It's a big space saver, which is nice in my small apartment too.

First thing I notice after assembling this swing (which only took about 20 minutes) was the bright pops of color and how little room space it takes up! It has a removable/washable plush pad, definitely a plus in my book! This swing sways side to side and can bounce up and down as well vibrate! I love the music, sound and lights. I received this seat for my daughter a few weeks ago from Fisher Price in exchange for writing a review. Although my daughter was nine months old at the time and very active, it kept her engaged and she enjoyed swaying in the seat. I only wish I had known about this product when she was first born so we could have enjoyed it longer. I think this seat would have been perfect for initial naps for her. This seat not only sways back and forth, but also goes up and down and vibrates as well. It also plays a variety of music and sounds. The mirror/toys dangling above also provide something for the baby to look at. I would love to have a seat like this for myself!

This product is great in the fact that it serves as a bouncer and swing all in one. Not only does that save on having to buy a separate bouncer and swing, but it also takes up a lot less space than some of the swings currently in stores. I also like that the color scheme is gender neutral so it can be used for multiple babies. This product was also easy to assemble.

This bouncer/swing/rocker was easy to assemble and looks very nice when assembled. It's fairly compact and lightweight, making it easy to move if needed. The seat and cushion material is soft and comfy for baby. I like that it moves up/down and side to side. All the different sound options are nice. The display under the swing is easy to read and push, although I prefer the display been top or side to avoid bending down too see buttons. The actual seat area for the baby isn't that wide or long so use of this swing may be limited to only a few months if your baby is long or larger in size than average, like my baby is. Overall is nice quality swing that will fit well anywhere and baby will like the movement of the swing.

Very easy to assemble. My 4 month old loves it. I highly recommend this product to everyone that has an infant.

Right off the bat, the thing I liked best about this product was nice design without taking up a lot of floor space. Even better then just taking up very little space itself, it also allowed me to put away my swing and bouncer seat because this product serves as both. Living in an apartment, anything that gives back a little bit of space is golden.
Besides the space, I really liked the variety of motions available rather then just back and forth or front and back like a traditional swing. And even my husband finds the sounds soothing!
One other aspect that I really liked was the height. With the bouncer seat being so close to the floor, it isn't always the most convenient, especially with a toddler around!
I could keep going on about every feature, but overall I think this is a great product on it's own and bonus points for space saving!
