Great, besides the leaking (i figured out how to..
I too had the leaking problem. But i finally figured out how to avoid it. You gotta watch and/or feel how tight you tighten it. TOO tight, it leaks. Too loose, it leaks. So you have to feel for it. Right when it closes, then allow it to close just a tiny bit more. Practice practice practice. if it leaks, try again, but remove the top, wipe away the rim of the bottle, and the inside of the top part. These are the best bottles, but i too dislike how much they leak. Again, i finally figured out go to stop the leaking. Hope that helps.

Do not recommend. It leaks!
I bought this 2 months ago for my newborn. The bottle leaks. And it's messy when milk is dripping on my baby's chest while I'm feeding her. Disappointed. :(

Leaks don't buy
This bottle leaks a ton of milk. Not just a few drops but a significant amount. I pump breast milk and feed through a bottle so I can't risk having precious breast milk go to waste. It's frustrating and I switched to Avent bottles and I could not be happier. I love the size and shape of the bottles but they should not leak...bottle 101.

Bottles Leak Very Badly
I have used these bottles for two months and continue to have problems. I actually thought the first set was defection and bought another set only to find they lead too. This is clearly a design flaw that needs to be addressed. I'm thinking of writing consumer services.

Amazing... would recommend to all parents
We are first time parents. Our son was born 7lb and was having difficulty with a lot of gas and stomach pains after every feed. He was never breastfed only bottle. At first I thought it was the formula but then u started to research more and came across many parents having issues with the bottles. That us when I read up on Dr Browns bottles and thought I'd give it a try what did we have to loose. From the first feed we noticed a huge difference. He wasn't dribbling out formula and his latch was amazing. By the second and third feed you could see the difference in his behaviour. He was not gassy or crabby. We would recommend this to anyone who is struggling with feed time.

Options have no options.
I bought the first set of dr brown bottles and they work good. Then bought two extra bottles at the time the options range lokked promising but in so disappointed. The bottles cant be used without the vent as the suction keeps on sucking the teet inwards. So frustrating not even to talk about the vents of options range that is broken after 2 months and heavy leakage. For my old dr brows bottles, ill stick with them.

Not too impressed
I bought the newest one of these bottles thats out. The options one with the green vent system. Havent had it two weeks and the vent piece is all bent and sits wrong in the bottle. Im a woman and i dont have super strength so obviously the fact it is like this is not okay to me. I love the overall bottles but not the vents on the new ones... so now i have to spend another $6.97 on one? And pray it doesnt do this in a week? Frustrating.

Dr. Brown's bottles is truly a lifesaver! As a new and young mom, I didn't know nor thought a bottle would affect a baby so much. My sweet baby boy was struggling with gas and a little bit of colic. After switching from MAM to Dr. Brown's, let's just say there was a huge difference! The vents are difficult to clean because it's very time consuming trying to get into small areas but it's worth the trouble! I just wished the clear bottles w/ blue vents was as convenient as the options bottle. The options bottle made it easier for me to mix powdered formula and shake without any spills. As for the clear bottles, I had to use a seal to shake the formula then place the vent and nipple then feed which took up too much time for a mom with a crying hungry baby. Other than that, I wouldn't want to switch bottles ever!

I bought these bottles literally 2 wks ago because they were recommended to help w. Colic. So I was all excited to buy them although there expensive. Come to find out they leak... I know the bottles says don't fill to the top because it'll leak but my son drinks 5oz. I've wasted so much milk w. These bottles. I'm highly upset. Won't ever buy again. & wish I could get my money back

Both my sons, 4 & 2 years old enjoy this bottle and feeding is so easy. The product is great for the kids, but as a Mom I would've enjoyed too if the tiet was leake-proof. Its such a pleasure when baby can keep his own bottle, but you have to be very alert when he's done, because when he drops the bottle (unfinished), it leaks at a rapid rate. In a matter of minutes the area (mostly my mattress in the cot) is completely soaked.

I have only used dr browns standard bottle with my 2 children. This second child does great with them except a few of them leak. The small bottlw always leaked and now the larger bottle are as well. So frustrating for a pumping mom to lose waste that hard pumped milk my baby needs. Wish they could fix this leakage issue. Otherwise these are fantastic bottles.

Leak, leak, leak!!
I tried a lot of different bottles which were not helpful with my son's gas and he often had latch issues. I tried these as a last ditch effort due to the price, the parts to clean, and the reviews by many of them leaking. Low and behold, my son was latching great and not screaming with gas pain anymore, yay!! They were great for a few weeks and then the leaking began. I read the suggestions to help fight the leaks from day one, but clearly they didn't work. Obviously, it's amazing my son has less gas issues and that alone is worth it, but I'm super disappointed that such a pricey, hard to clean bottle leaks the way it does. No matter where I set them down after feeding him, there is a ring of milk and sometimes they will leak after I take the bottle out of his mouth, dripping all over him and running down my hand/arm. Please consider redesigning your bottles and/or offer some kind of reimbursement/exchange for the leaky ones. Since they do help with his tummy issues I feel I will be stuck with these leaky bottles until he can drink out of a sippy cup.

I have loved Dr. Browns original bottles in the past so we decide to try these. Unfortunately after a month or so they started leaking. I have tried trouble shooting to try to see if we could fix the problem but nothing worked. We still use the original Dr. Brown's bottle's that we have had since our son was a newborn, he is now 10 months old, and have no problems These option bottles were a waste of money and I have about 6 of them.

Leaky bottles
o, I am confused on how to rate these bottles. I have worked in daycares for awhile now and always loved Dr. Brown bottles, never had a problem with them ever. When I became pregnant I knew right away I wanted the Dr. Brown bottles. We got the new Option bottles and figured the older ones work great so these I'm sure are just as amazing. I was wrong. The milk pours out of the bottle. We tried multiple different ways of putting the cap on just right, every time the bottle leaks. We tried them without the vent and you have to make sure the cover is on just right or it will still leak. I'm very disappointed in these bottles. We now use them without the vents and just pray we have the cover on right or we will get covered in formula. Just sad that the reason we bought these was for the vent and all the benefits of using the vent and now we just use it like any other bottle we could buy without a vent.

Amazing bottles!
Dr Brown bottles to the rescue! I used Dr Brown with my daughter 4 years ago and loved them! Had no complaints (other than all the pieces) and she was never fussy. I just gave birth to my son a month ago and just started introducing a bottle to him. This time around, I wanted to try Tommee Tippee bottles only because they're a lot easier to wash. Well, since I'm primarily just nursing my son; he had a really hard time latching on to Tommee Tippee and because of that he got lots of air bubbles which made him extremely fussy. I was really happy to find out that Dr. Brown came out with their new bottle Options! I ran to Target to buy one! I bought the Wide Neck because I figured it would be best for my son since he is a breastfed baby. Sure enough... He had no problem latching on and he is no longer fussy! This mom gives Dr. Brown Options two thumbs up!! I should of known since I had such great experience with these bottles 4 years ago that I should of stayed with them! I really recommend these bottles! I'm one happy mommy

Original is much better.
I just bought these and they're horrible compared to the original bottles. My daughter spits up a lot with this new venting system, I just bought these the other day from Target and the difference is major. Burped her after every 20 ml and would spit a majority of it right back up, then I used the original ones and nothing, she was just fine and full.

Leaky bottles! Design flaw
I really don't understand how the Option bottles aren't recalled. We bought a full glass set after trying the plastic, the vent system helped our one twin with gas. But at 4 months when he didn't need the vent we found that ALL the bottles leak without the vent! We've tried every combination but they all leak. Plus because they're Leaky the screwed cap holding the nipple get STUCK and are so hard to get off my husband has to do it. It is so frustrating because we can't return them and have twins so bought a large supply. I really do not recommend thelse and think there is a design flaw.

Dr. Brown bottle user for the first time
We have bought Dr. Browns bottle for our child as this seems to be the one that's easier. The problem we have found is that the Straw vent as well as the vent attachment at the top has become black. Not for lack of washing and scrubbing that's for sure. I find this a huge problem as these bottle are not cheap and we can no longer use these pieces.

The most basic function of a bottle should be to keep fluid in without leaking. I bought two packs of these for my one month old and two days in a row I have lost formula do to leakage from the cap. I have only hand washed these bottles and have another brand that I treat the same way without incident. The other issue with these is that the vent tubes aren't a universal fit. Some of them hit the bottom of the bottles pushing up the vent cap. I am dissapointed as I haven't had the same issue with the older models of dr browns. I guess they cut some corners when making these bottles. If you wish to uncomfortably feed you child with spilt formula on you and your child them buy these else choose a different dr brown's.

Leak terribly
I got these 2 weeks ago to try since my advent bottles nipples seemed to big for my 5lb baby, i was hesitant to spend more mony on bottles but figured i would try them. I like the bottle style and that it is easier for my baby to eat, but they leak terribly i am very disappointed in these for the price i paid i wish i could return them or try the original ones. Do not buy the Options bottles

I started using the original ones about 3 months ago when my son was 5 weeks old. They leaked all the time. Then i switched to options after a month. At first, they were great, no leaking, but now, 2 months later, they are starting to leak too unfortunately. I might switch to kiinde,├┬├‚┬«ve heard good things and there are less parts to clean.

We finally struck gold!
From day one my son had a terrible problem with gas being trapped in his body after feedings. We tried several different vented nipple bottles w. little to no help. I had received the 8oz options bottles as a baby shower gift but didn't bother using them until he was having larger bottles. From the very first use there was an immediate difference. he was finally able to have a feeding without the pain and crying due to trapped gas. I immediately bought additional bottles and we haven't turned back since. I have not experienced any leaking or any other problems with these bottles. BUY SEVERAL!

Great but....
I was recommended these bottles by a family member however, she used the original bottles, not the "options". While I do find that there has been overall improvement of the spits up, burping and colic, the construction of the bottles seems to have gaps. When the vents are in, there is a fair amount of leaking. This is problematic when traveling with the bottles. We've worked around this by waiting until we're just about to feed the baby before putting in the vent - we dont even have them in when heating up the bottle and testing it. It almost seems like the water collects at the top of the vent and then because the screw on top part is not very thick, the milk leaks out. However, without the vents, I do not have this issue. This website does offer some possible solutions to this in their FAQ section which we will try however, their solutions do not address why the bottles would leak (unheated) while traveling. I lost around 200ml traveling once. I do like the option of using the bottle with or without the vents. I tolerate the leaking because of the improvement I saw with the gas / spit ups. But perhaps the original bottles are better as my family member did not have this same issue.

Great job at reducing gas
Bottle does a great job at reducing gas for my son, but it comes with a price. Bottles LEAK like crazy! Luckily not while he is drinking, but as soon I flip the bottle down there is milk running down the sides. I always have sticky bottles, causing sticky fingers, rings on my floors, rings on my nightstand, rings on my son's furniture, bottle holder in the diaper bag is always a mess, my cooler bags have residue. That is a lot of cleaning for a new (any) mom.

Leaky bottles. Not impressed.
I bought 2 of the 4 oz options bottles because I liked the size and thought they would be great for traveling. Not only are they terrible for traveling because they leak everywhere, just on a daily basis, after pumping, I give the bottle directly to my husband to feed the baby and it leaks all the time. I am not impressed and would not recommend.

Used to be a playtex drop ins buyer...Not no more!
I received 3 of the Dr Brown's bottles as a gift and was gonna return them because I was dead set on using playtex drop ins. But I absolutely LOVE the Dr. Brown's bottles, when I feed my newborn he doesn't get the mess on his chin from the milk leaking out of the bottle. He seams to like them a lot too! And with me Breastfeeding he isn't getting nipple confused either! As soon as I can I'm gonna buy more!

Love the flexibility
My daughter was born at 33 weeks and the NICU staff encouraged us to buy dr brown bottles with the preemie nipples. My daughter had problems drinking from any other bottle or breastfeeding for months so we're confident the bottles helped her grown and come home faster. As she's gotten older, we don't need the vent system and so love the options bottles so we can keep with the same brand without needing to use the vents (they are a lot of extra cleaning but was worth it for all the early benefits!) I also like that I can pump right into these bottles with my medela parts. We never had leaking problems with neosure formula as long as we followed bottle directions.

Baby loves what more can you ask for!
I have used Dr. browns since my baby was born in July 2016. It is the only bottle she would take and I don't have to worry about leaks and such. I saw this version as we were buying 8oz bottles and knew I had to try. I love the bright green tube and how easy it is to clean all of the parts. We also found that she preferred the smaller green nozzle to the larger standard white nozzle, as she was able to feed with less mess. I can't wait to see what they come up with when baby #2 comes around!

We love them!
We tried numerous bottles with our 3rd child. What worked for the other 2 did not work for this one. In no time at all after using Dr. Brown's we noticed less gas, less spitting up & less fussing. We have a happier baby all together! We have had a couple bottles leak occasionally but I think was due to them being too full. Overall we love them though!

Best Bottle to Grow With Baby
It took me 8 long months to find a bottle that i liked. I had twins and thought that my list was pretty simple, easy to clean and doesn't leak. I was shocked by how many bottles leaked or the whole cap would fall off drenching the baby. I tried the regular Dr brown's and I loved it because i had finally found a bottle that didn't leak. But as i had older babies all of the pieces started to get to me especially the little disk under the cap to keep the bottle from leaking when not in use. So I took my limited funds and gambled on the options bottle and it paid off!! All of the benefits of the original plus instead of the disk to keep it form leaking the cap did the trick. Not to mention that i could skip the vent. That made Dr brown's the best bottle i had tried. OUr whole famly fell in love. They also have a preemie flow nipple that was suggested to us by the hospital but we weren't able to get. If i have another preemie this time that will be the first thing i buy. Preemie moms know how hard it is to feed your babies when they struggle to eat. A "simple feeding" turns into a long stressful event because you're so worried about getting the feeding done on time and keeping your precious babies breathing. The right bottle would have helped us in those early days with premature twins so much. This bottle has everything we were looking for and then some.We loved not having to wash all of the pieces that most bottles have. without the vent it is literally just the bottle, the ring, the nipple and the cap. I hate dishes so this ws great and my babies did fine without the vent. The only issue is that if held directly upside down it leaks from the nipple if the cap isn't on, but really that's such a small thing. With this next baby I'm hoping to breastfeed so will be trying the como tomo bottles, but if we don't love those i will definitely be using this bottle, or maybe trying the wide neck version.

Parts Not Interchangeable
We have purchased several Dr. Browns bottles from the classic glass 8oz, 4oz plastic, 8 oz plastic and then lastly, the options bottles. We love Dr. Browns and have many accessories for the bottle including a very expensive sanitizer. The bottles are good but, the internal stem does not fit the sanitizer. Additionally, we have to keep all items separate to ensure all items are used with their corresponding bottle. It's like having two totally different bottles which is very frustrating. Lastly, the oz indicator on the side of the bottle is difficult to read when filling unless you hold it close which can offer incorrect measurements. I would like the numbers to be larger. Cosmetically, it would be nice to have a wider variety of design options or the opportunity to personalize a bottle for keepsake purposes.

Great bottle! No dripping or anything!
I brought this bottle a few months ago and my son loves it and I love it. I brought the bottle with the basic nipple not the wide neck since my son didn't like the wide nick his milk always used to drip and fall do to the wide neck nipple. He loves the classic bottle that he already had 5 bottles of these!!! Love them! Love the brand! Keep up the good work Dr. Brown.!
