Got it right the 2nd time
When this crib arrived, both the headboard and footboard pieces were cracked. I am guessing this happened during the shipping process (protective materials for shipping were very minimal). I was upset, needless to say. Thankfully, when I called customer service, they were very helpful and shipped out a replacement headboard and footboard that same day. I still wasn't real happy - after all, I would be getting my completed crib for my daughter about 5 days later than I had planned - but at least they did what they could to fix the problem. Maybe they could have expedited the shipping of the replacement parts, however???
