We've been using our Clek Mat Thingy with the Foonf for 6 months now and I am happy to say that it is doing it's job well. I like that it gives our car's leather seats just a little extra protection.

I bought this to go with my clek foonf in a 2021 Nissan Rogue. I felt the car seat was sliding on the leather seats and would not stay in the proper position for the incline. So far I have not had any problems with it not buckling in as I read in previous reviews and the car seat feels very secure. it doesn't feel like its moving at all. I've had this for about 3 weeks now. Bonus part is that it is also protecting my leather seats. so all around I like it.

I bought this to help keep a car seat from wiggling in our parents car.

Clek products are very heavy so this has saved our seats. Though there is a little residual in-dent when removing it, the seat bounces back without time.

Used in my Honda Ridgeline, middle back seat. Fit well. I can still lift the passenger back seat up for extra storage. It’s a tight squeeze but it’s possible.

We bought our Clek Fllo carseats for many reasons but one of them was the Mat Thingy. There are very few carseats that per the manufacturer guidelines can be installed under a seat (want to see more about that ? I learned about it from @SafeintheSeat. I think she has a highlight about it). It's a nice quality rubber material and it extends over the front of the seat, which is nice.

If I could give it 4.75 stars I would. My only ding is that it's dimensions made it challenging to get to the LATCH anchors in my car (2021 CRV) because it's so wide on the seat. I was able to work around it but I'm not sure if I'd be able to have 3 carseats and 3 mat thingys back there because of it.

Upgraded our Clek car seat to a Clek booster and just got a new car. Decided it was worth investing in a cover for our leather seats. It's a narrow fit like others mentioned and we placed the booster in a smaller backseat, making the buckle a little challenging, but seeing how the weight of the Clek took a toll on previous cars we are eager for this protection. So happy with our Clek investments.

These are a must have when installing Clek seats on leather car seats. They don’t interfere with installing the seats and the flap on the front protect the seat from dirty shoes.

I had a seat protector for our infant car seat before purchasing the Clek Foonf. The seat thingy puts the last seat protector to shame! It’s a good weight and high quality rubber much like floor mats so it’s hugs the seat and stays in place and it even has a lip around the edged creating a spill reservoir.

These fit into my minivan great and kept my seats from getting destroyed. Also great crumb catchers.

Just like everything from clek, the quality of this mat is excellent. Very soft and pliable. One of our vehicles has a leather interior and we use it to keep the car seat from causing permanent marks.

This did everything I hoped it would-- catch crumbs/spills and protect my leather seats. It's installed under a Clek Fllo and the whole process only took about 5 minutes. The fit is really secure and the rubber traction is great so I don't worry about extra slipping/sliding.

This mat is great! It protects the car seats from spills, crumbs, and the damage done to the foam due to the pressure of installation. Additionally these are crash tested with Clek seats to ensure safety.

I'd never have a car seat without a seat protector and I'd never have a Clek seat without a Mat Thingy. It's a must have if you want to save your car's seats! It's not just about the mess either - our foonf puts some pretty hefty pressure on my car's leather seat, so having this in between the two makes me feel sure that the car seat itself isn't doing any damage.

I have three mat thingys and they do what they are supposed to do, protect the seat. Sturdy and appear to be well made. Easy to install mat and attach car seat to the car. No complaints.

We have had the Mat Thingy for over a year now and we've only had to wipe it down once a month to keep the backseat clean. Highly recommended.

I love that they exists and should have bought them for my first car seats but didnt... they probably text well they are a little to big and they overlap because I got three. They are wider than the actual car seats... but protect my car perfectly

Yes, it is a rubber mat that protects car seats well (as any rubber mat would). The drawback is that it fits too exactly. If it's off by even the tiniest bit, the raised back edge interferes with the rigid latch attachments. Because of the weight of Clek seats, the rigid latch, and the grip of the rubber mat, there is no shifting things around once you get started. My husband forced it once and the mat jammed up the latch attachment so badly we didn't know if we would ever get it back out again. So yes, I can recommend this product because it is as good as or better than any comparable product, but with a word of caution that it must be installed carefully.

Despite the price, I ended up buying a mat for each of my Cleks. This mat would probably be great for any carseat. The material is thick and helps protect the seat as well as provide a stable surfaceI haven't noted any black material rubbing off on the carseat, as has happened with cheaper mats. I think the material is likely to hold up well with time, although I can't say for sure yet.

We have two of these. One for our oobr and we got a new one for our new fllo. If you want to protect your leather, you have to get this. We have used it in black leather as well as almond leather and it has protected our seats well.
