I'm going to start off by saying why didn't I get this 9 months ago when my baby was first born! I used a different model from Boppy and it just wasn't thick enough and caused a lot of slouching on my end. This made for a sore back, daily.

I love that there are two options for comfort, a soft fill or a firm side. My boy is 9 months so we use the softer side for feeds and it couldn't be more comfortable for the both of us. Bye bye back pain! However, keep in mind my baby is small for his age, if he was any bigger I'm not sure this thickness would be as comforting.

I also love the overall look of this boppy, it is so pretty and gender neutral and fits perfectly with my home decor.

There is just one feature I do not get a use out of and that is the adjustable belt. I am able to use the boppy perfectly without it and to be honest when my babes ready to eat I don't have time to mess with it! Luckily it is easily able to be tucked away.

Lastly, another important feature is how easy this is to wash! Upon receiving this we gave it a wash right away. After removing the foam insert and buckle we threw it right in the wash and came out just as it was out of the bag.

When nursing my first child I used the original Boppy support pillow but after a surprise C section for my second child I was eager to find a nursing pillow that provided more support. Insert, Boppy Best Latch Breastfeeding pillow. It's obvious this product was developed by a lactation consultant! I loved how it was contoured to fit my body's post C-section needs and also my preferred nursing positions once my abdomen was less sore. My husband used the pillow when he bottle fed our baby and appreciated the shape of the pillow because it allowed him to find a comfortable feeding position as well. I loved the adjustable belt which provided a more secure feeding experience. If you haven't used a breastfeeding pillow with a belt before, you are missing out- its a game changing. It really allows you to position and secure the baby to improve latch. The pillow is dual sided adding to its versatility. A structured and firm foam side which was perfect for nursing a newborn. This firm side might be my favorite feature of this pillow. It provided an ideal surface for me to position my newborn. It was firm and flat but soft enough for his delicate skin with its soft minky fabric. The reverse side of the pillow is softer fiber fill which is ideal for use as your baby grows. I found the plush side a great way to get super snuggly with a baby and read books while having the added support of the pillow. Let's be real, a mom's arms tired after a long day so both baby and mom loved this! The pillow is eye catching, the grey floral print is subtle yet beautiful. And with the easy care instructions you don't have to worry about getting the pillow a little messy, it can easily be cleaned by tossing the entire pillow into the washer. This was a perk for me because I dislike trying to get those tiny slipcovers back onto a fitted shape. This pillow could be improved if they tweaked the belt. The band is made from the same fabric as the pillow which can make it hard to easily adjust, especially when you're one handed holding a newborn. The buckle itself was large and made it easy to clasp. The placement of where the buckle clasped was also a little off. Both my husband and I noticed that when trying to unclasp it was a little awkward. The pillow would benefit if placement of the buckle could was more ergonomically located. Nursing a wiggly older baby can be challenging! However, this pillow provides us with all the support and comfort we need. It's super easy to strap the adjustable buckle around my waist and prop baby onto the pillow securely and comfortably.

One of my favorite features of this pillow is its two sides. The contoured foam is perfectly shaped to allow baby to snuggle in close and get a great latch without me having to do any extra work or hunch over. I use the more pillowy side while baby nurses at night.

Aesthetically, the pillow is a pretty gray and white with floral print that goes with any decor. I know I will get very good use out of this pillow for the remainder of our breastfeeding journey as baby and I love it! I received this nursing pillow from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I will start out this review by saying we LOVE the original Boppy pillow for not only nursing our baby but also how it changes its functionality as baby grows. My wife was excited to try out this new Boppy nursing pillow with our 6 month old. She loved the buckle that helped keep the pillow in place even with a squirmy baby. The fit was great and it was very comfortable to use. She loved that the pillow was reversible to allow for a flat surface of the contoured foam while also having a soft plush option. Since our daughter is now 6 months old my wife found the original Boppy to be a better fit, however she is excited to use it with our next baby in the early months as she feels like this pillow will be perfect with a more itty bitty baby and helping promote a good position and latch. We did love that this pillow was easily machine washable and that the belt could be tucked away when not needed. We would recommend this pillow for newborns and infants under 6 months old. We will be saving it for the next baby and will report back! We were given this nursing pillow to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel but all thoughts are our own.

I'm an IBCLC (lactation consultant). I use this pillow in my office and all my nursing moms love it. I can't even tell you how many I have inadvertently sold after moms have experienced the difference in my office versus their regular boppy at home. This pillow is so great. Throw out the original Boppy and get this one asap. No more baby falling down the center of the pillow. I just wish families could buy it on Amazon.

The only con about this product is that the pillow is sewn into the cover so you can't take the cover off and just wash that. You have to wash the pillow too! That being said, i have to give it a 4 star!

I have had my Boppy ® Best Latch™ Breastfeeding Pillow since 2015 and couldn't live without it. I love the way it attaches around you so that it doesn't move. I also love that you can throw it in the washing machine. I recommend this product to any new mom that has decided to breastfeed.

I bought this pillow and used it for the first few months of life when my daughter was first born. We were both nursing newbies and didn't know what we were doing. A soft pillow wasn't quite enough to keep her latched properly. I loved the firm side of this pillow and how it helped her to turn toward me to get the proper latch. Proper latch=happy nipples, happy Mama, happy baby!

Nursing is already hard on it's own, but now you have a pillow to complicate things. This pillow buckles behind your back, not on the side where you could reach it, but completely behind you. Leaning against the buckle is uncomfortable. The long straps usually get stuck under my but and pull the pillow down in the front. It makes feeding my baby easier, but I would do so much to change the design. I don't believe this is designed by a nursing mother or lactation consultant. Most times I want to throw it in the garbage.

I haven't actually used the pillow with my unborn child yet but I know I am going to love it because with my first just used a pillow and it wasn't very comfortable to breastfeed especially at night, also I have a long torso and the more squarer this Boppy Pillow is compared to the original I really like a lot better.

I struggled at first with finding a comfortable position to nurse my newborn in, as I had a C section and it all felt really awkward. Your arms are exhausted from the weird muscles you're using to hold your baby, all the while you're trying to perfect your "latch" at 3am in the morning. I had the regular boppy but it wasn't thick enough and the shape didn't snug around my waist-it always pushed itself out. I was desperate enough and gave this version a try and it changed my world! I wish I had this ages ago even before having a baby-it would've been so comfortable to read, write, and type on too! It's the perfect size and has a nice flat underside so it is firm on your lap. I wish I bought it early on for my hospital stay, so I'll make sure I have it for the future. I take it everywhere with me! And it's so useful for nursing in the car where it's impossible to sit comfortably. I love this so so so much! I honestly couldn't express it anymore!

This is a wonderful breastfeeding pillow. I have used many nursing pillows as a parent of three and love that this one has dual surfaces.. firmer for younger babies and newborn and then a softer side for when baby is bigger. I have used many Boppy products and loved them all. This one is a great addition!

The pillow is firm enough to hold my son in position, but it is also large enough for him to fall asleep on after nursing.

This is the best nursing pillow. I just love this one. I tried both my best friend and boppy but I feel boppy is better than the other. As a first time mother it just a life saver

I purchased this Boppy when I was pregnant with my daughter several years ago & I am so glad I did! It was a total lifesaver since I decided to breast feed her. It made each & every single nursing session a breeze! I would recommend this to anyone!! It's well worth the money spent.

I love this nursing pillow. I've used it for about 8 months now and I'm glad I purchased this one after countless hours of comparing nursing pillows. The firmer side is great for little squishes and the strap is great to keep it in place. I stopped using the firmer side by taking out the insert and removing the strap around 4-5 months. Since I've used the other softer side. It washes up very well just throw it in the washer and then dry it with a tennis ball or tennis shoe and it's ready to go. I highly recommend this to any breastfeeding momma!!

I bought this pillow when I first started having issues nursing my newborn and I have to say that buying it was the best decision I ever made when it came to being successful at breastfeeding my baby. The idea behind this pillow is amazing and the only flaw (and reason I gave it 4 stars) is that the strap is not very well designed. I had to tie to around my back for it to work but if the strap was better designed to securely hold its position it would be amazing. I loved the dual sides allowing you to position the baby correctly depending on where you were sitting at the time. I would totally buy this as a baby shower gift for any expecting new mom!!!

This is a nice pillow; the fabric is soft. Unfortunately, the sides are too short if you nurse in the football hold. The regular Boppy I use works much better.

Full disclosure: I'm not a mom, and am not using this pillow to breastfeed. I bought this pillow to use to prop up my arms while I drive on long car trips. I remove the insert, and I keep the pillow in my lap, around my waist, when I'm on long drives, and it's great. I'd actually like a slightly wider version, but as-is this pillow is a much better alternative to the makeshift pillow situation I've used for years. I love the soft suede-like side to rest my arms on. Very soft. I'm very glad I found this pillow!

I love the Bobby pillow but this design is my favorite.

I love this pillow because I am tall and have a long torso. The buckle feature allows the boppy to stay in place higher up on my torso under my breast during feedings. I also love how you can just thrown the whole pillow in the wash and clean it. The pillow stays plush!

Originally a friend of mine let me borrow her regular Boppy pillow. It helped but I was still having issues with her falling into the center and would try to shove stuff down to prevent that. And I would still have to prop her head up somewhat. So after being frustrated I decided to just spend the money on this 2 sided Boppy. So far I love it. I'm nursing right now as I'm writing this and she staying latched well and comfortably. I love the strap because it makes it fit snug and she can be right up next to me. My back doesn't hurt and my arms are free to relax. It's made breastfeeding much more relaxing for me. This is so much better shaped for nursing than the original Boppy design. Buy this one! I've also heard good things about the Breast Friend though I've never tried it myself. Hopefully this review helps.

This has truly helped me feed my baby with comfort! My c section has made it difficult to lift things and walk so holding him while breast feeding out a lot of pressure on my abdomen. Now he looks comfortable and so am I!

I Love my boppy! It was a shower gift. I use it when nursing my baby boy! It takes a lot of weight off your arms and stomach. It is very comfortable to use! I don't know what I would do without it.

I used other nursing pillows with my first and because they were thinner and flimsy, I had to hunch over or use additional pillows under it to make baby level with the breast. This is firmer and thicker and props baby right to the breast, less strain on mommy's back and more comfortable for baby.

This product is great and perfect for nursing. With it being firm on one side it holds baby up. So baby and mom are both comfortable.
