Worth the Money!

This stroller is simply the best on the market. Worth every penny of its somewhat above average price. The Rolls Royce of jogging strollers.... or perhaps the Ferrari since it is performance based. Get one.

Perfect for long and fast runs
September 12, 2016
I have been using this stroller (single and double) for five years, and it is perfect for the runner looking to go fast or long. The ride is super smooth ( my kids always enjoy it) and it is really easy to maneuver even with the fixed wheel.

Life Saver!

Even though my older kiddo was already 5 when I bought my double, it was the best investment. Bought it when my husband deployed and I went back to work with a kiddo and baby. I'd run with the Ironman single for 5 years so the double was a natural choice. The hardest part was when it arrived and I saw how pretty and new and updated it was and then instantly wanted a new single Ironman, too.

I wouldn't recommend the Ironman duallie for someone wanting an all-around stroller, since the fixed wheel does make it cumbersome to maneuver in everyday situations (stores, busy sidewalks, etc.). But for RUNNERS looking for a superior running stroller, this one is fantastic. I loved being able to run without constantly adjusting the direction or hanging on with both hands. It rides as smoothly as the single, and once you figure the handling it's not that difficult to turn--even with a 6-year-old and a rather large toddler. My kiddos bounced over curbs and other major "bumps" with no issues--not that I recommend that, but sometimes it happens! I was able to successfully push the double through several races and countless miles with both kids and both dogs (we were a wide load) and found it to be not much different than running with the single. The suspension and shocks adjusted well and made the ride better as my younger one grew.

The stroller was easy to fold and unfold, and it fit in the back of my Honda CR-V with enough space for one of the dogs if necessary. After using the older model Ironman single, I like the update of the tether to "clip" the stroller into a secure folded position to make it easy to pick up and move around. I also like the upgraded harness. I used the weather shield (still do) with the single but never purchased one for the double. Where we lived at the time we didn't really need it. But I'll toss this in: if you live in a place where rain, wind, or cold are factors, it's worth the investment. Overpriced? Sure. But I don't regret that purchase, either!

My only real issue was with the hand break, which didn't even remotely work. This could be user error, since I put the stroller together myself when it came. Never did have it checked out... (The hand break on my single works fine.) Otherwise I don't regret my purchase for one second. My oldest is now turning 8 and doesn't fit anymore (not that she really did for long!), and it's bittersweet to move on. Luckily I know the stroller is being put to good use by another family, hopefully logging many more miles.

Wife loves it

After months denying she wanted one my wife finally asked for a double jogging stroller. She had already asked around and wanted a BOB so there was no reason to shop different brands. Albee Baby always has the best offers on higher-end baby stuff. I checked other sites and once again Albee was the best. Shipping was very quick and assembly was simple.

Can keep up running!
March 4, 2012
I started using the double when my son was 6 months and my daughter 3 years old. I used Baby Jogger Performance when I only run with one of them (have had this for 3 years). I like that I can completely recline my son and my daughter can still sit up. The visor is very large, as is the window to see the kids. It is a little more difficult managing the fixed wheel with two, but it makes for a nice smooth, fast run. Overall, a very good stroller that I would recommend to runners!
