The New Philips AVENT 9 ounce Natural bottle is the most natural way to bottle feed. The wide, breast shaped nipple promotes natural latch on so you can easily combine breast and bottle feeding and the unique comfort petals provides an extra soft, flexible nipple without nipple collapse. In addition, the anti-colic slow-flow nipple helps newborns feed comfortably and easily and the ergonomic shape makes it comfortable for parents to hold and easy for small fingers to grasp. Assembly is simple with only a few parts and the wide bottle neck makes filling and cleaning easy. This AVENT Natural bottle is made from polypropylene, a BPA-Free material and works with all nipples, rings, and caps from the Natural line.

Great bottle for baby to latch, but leaks!
August 21, 2018
My son loves these bottles, once I switch we never went back to another bottle/nipples. My issue though is the bottles leak and the tops do not stay on very well. I have bought multiple bottles from many locations and they all do it. This is something someone should look into or at the very least test.

Other than that it's a great choice! Just be careful of leaks in diaper bags and such!

Not for newborns
April 28, 2018
The nipples are too big for newborns mouths. I have twin boys and they have trouble latching on and making a seal on these. I like the idea of anti colic, but feel that they should have info about the nipple size. My boys were 6 pounds when born and we really wanted to use these bottles but can't. Most of the milk ends up all over the boys and on their clothes not in their tummies. Definately better for older babies.

Love this bottle
April 8, 2018
I received the Phillips advent natural baby bottle from the weeSpring parent panel. I had initially trialed this bottle when my daughter was around 4 months which seemed to be too soon because she drank it way too fast and was spitting up a lot. I put the bottle away for about a month and decided to try it again, and I am really glad I did. The flow must have just been to fast and now that my daughter is older and stronger this bottle has been great. No more spitting up and she can easily hold the bottle on her own. The bottle is extremely easy to clean with the removable nipple piece so mold collecting in it has never an issue. I will definitely be buying more of these and recommending them to others

Great bottles, happy baby!
April 5, 2018
Because I had to go back to work 6 weeks after having my son, I had planned to exclusively pump breast milk for him. I wanted a bottle that would offer a gentle flow and relieve any gas intake as he has acid reflux. He took to these bottles very easily and is still using them even though he is now 7.5 old and has started solids. The bottles are a cinch to put together and easy to clean. The nipple can be removed from the top ring for easy sterilization. Another great feature is that the bottle shape has been great for my son as he works on holding it on his own. Thank you to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me these bottles to try and review.

Worth a Try!
April 4, 2018
This bottle came with a level 2 flow nipple and for my baby girl that flow is still to fast for her to be able to drink comfortably.
She had a little setback at birth and the lactation consultant recommended a premie nipple to slow the flow of bottle milk to more closely mimic the flow of breast milk.
That said, we didn't try for more than 1 feeding with this bottle as it caused her to gag.
She did however, take to the nipple shape with ease - and it's quite different from the Dr. Brown we've been used too.
I love that it's BPA Free and the shape mimics a natural breast.
I think when she is more advanced she will enjoy this bottle.
Thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for allowing me to try this bottle in exchange for my review.

Baby and Mommy Approved!
January 9, 2018
I was given this bottle to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. My baby is 3 months old. She has been using bottles since birth as it took time for my milk to come in. We give her one bottle of breast milk every evening so my husband can have an opportunity to feed her. She is a very gassy baby and spits up a lot. We have tried a half dozen brands of bottles. We prefer bottles that pace how fast she is feeding and prevent her from swallowing excess air. The Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle met these requirements. We used the bottles with the preemie size 0 nipples. She was able to take 4oz from this bottle in about 20 minutes. With other bottles, we noticed that she would dribble milk out of the corners of her mouth and seemed to choke on the milk. With the size 0 nipple, we didn't have ANY dribbling. I think the Dr. Brown's bottles do a little bit better in terms our preventing swallowed air (I'd give them an A+ for this), but the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle did a pretty good job (I'd give them an A- for this). The anti-colic vent does work. I really like the shape of the bottle. It is easy for me to hold with small hands. My husband who has giant hands has no problem either. Once you know how to assemble the bottle it is easy. The first two times I used the bottle I didn't realize you had to pull the nipple through the ring up to a ridge on the nipple. As a result we had leakage around the ring. But, given that it was assembled incorrectly, it still did a great job :)! My husband has noticed a trade off between how tight the ring needs to be screwed on and how well the anti-colic vent works. He feels like the ring needs to be loose enough to let air out, but not loose enough to leak. I like how wide the mouth of the bottle is. This makes cleaning the bottle easier. The nipple is easy to clean if it hasn't been sitting around for a while. Sometimes my husband leaves the overnight bottle out until the next day and getting the fat out of the grooves in the nipple becomes a bit of a chore. No bottle is perfect, but I'd definitely buy this bottle to use in the future.

I bought 3 of these bottles and the numbers are coming off. I've only had the bottles for a couple months and I'm already having to go buy new bottles since I can't read the ounces. Never buying these bottles again. A waste of money.

MADE IN INDONESIA?
July 6, 2017
I have 3 boys and all of them used Avent bottles, my 2 boys used the classic bottles and now for my 3rd, I chose the natural.. As far as I know, all of the bottles I had was "Made in England" since the brand is Philips which originated from Europe so that makes it authentic.. I bought these bottles online, and im just concerned about the authenticity of these bottles so I immediately searched on here using the product number..glad to know it is! So far so good..

Tricky at first
February 7, 2017
I used the classic nipples with my oldest son and when I saw the new design I bought these for our new baby. I was having trouble with the nipples leaking and being sucked in. I looked it up and realized you have align the nipples just right with the rim. Once I did that everything has worked well. I don't really like that you have to align the nipples and the top is so hard to take off. If they could fix these 2 issues I'd give them 5 stars.

great bottles
February 6, 2017
Well, I'm truly surprised by the negative reviews here... We have 3 different brands at home and so far the avent bottles seem to be my son's favorite... I breastfeed and use formula on a daily basis and my son doesn't really mind the difference between the nipples (that is mine and the bottle's). We never had any issues with leakage or colic so no complaints there.

The Avent line is garbage!
September 8, 2016
I just threw the bottle in the garbage. It's leaking like a waterfall after 1 month of use! The cap is so hard to open one hand. The whole design is so flawed and user unfriendly! Who ever designed these bottle never had a baby. I really do not recomment any of the Avent products. Even my bigger sized bottle is starting to leak after a week of use!

Design issues..
September 1, 2016
The design of this bottle is very poor, I have bought 2 of them now thinking maybe there was a defect in the 1st one. However, the nipple constantly leaks and does not seal correctly. It's more of a hassle than not. I love Avent bottles but this design is definitely a down fall.

Not for Spit Up
August 2, 2016
This product was great but it's not for spit up. My son kept spit up after feeding. I tried to change the nipple level and still spit up. My older daughter had no issues with this product. But my son isn't. This product is great for babies who not have any issues.

The caps on the bottles will not tighten, they skip, and then leak. Extraordinarily frustrating for bottles as expensive as these. I will not purchase another product.

Good, but Nipple issues!!! :(
May 10, 2016
I'm a mother of two, && with our first son we used Avent bottles. That was in 2008 the classic bottles, we loved them so much. So when we had our second son I automatically knew I wanted to use Avent again. So I saw they had a new look && style for breastfeeding. So leaned towards getting Avent natural! At first it worked well seeming how I was getting to know the bottle better. As I used it I noticed my baby well take forever to drink & also the nipple would flatten then collapse. Then I realized that the vent needs to be aligned with the indentation on the ring, once I did that the collapsing stopped & my baby would finish his milk quicker. But, the problem that I'm having is that once the bottles are squeaky clean & nipple is placed correctly on the ring the nipple tends to move out of place when screwing it on the bottle. It is time consuming && annoying when your trying to move quickly to feed your hungry baby but have to keep readjusting the nipple to stay in place! Avent needs to find a way to keep the nipple tightly in place. Other then that the bottle is great.

This is it!!
May 8, 2016
I am a mom of five. I have tried every bottle available. These bottles are amazing! My babies go between bottles and nursing. I've had the most success with these Natural Bottles. I pump into these bottles. Pumping is quite a chore and it would upset me to see my milk spilling out when my baby used other bottles. My baby always had milk dribble down his chin and out the sides of his mouth. But not with these bottles! His lips create a perfect suction on the base of the nipple so that none of my milk escapes. I also love the petals inside the two-layered nipple. They mimic the feel of the breast. Also, the nipple is very flexible. I saw some people comment about nipple collapse. If this happens, a faster flow of nipple should be used. There is a vacuum system that allows air flow, but if the baby is drinking to fast, there us no time for it to work. Upping the nipple size is a quick fix. There are more holes in the faster flow that allow more milk to flow out. This means the baby doesn't need to suck as hard to get milk, allowing the nipple to work properly. The nipple double seals in the collar which makes it very secure. I wish these bottles were available when my first was born. I own 3 nine ounce, and 3 nine ounce with the cute elephant design. I want to get the cute monkey ones next!

Says it prevents colic but that's a lie!
April 28, 2016
I have wasted so much money on buying these bottles because they say that they prevent colic and it turns out these bottles were what was causing my baby to have colic. My baby screamed each day in pain when I was on these bottles. I thought at first it was the formula so I tried so many different formulas with no luck. I've even tried buying different style nippes and going up in the flow but they just kept my baby screaming. I highly dislike these bottles. I also dislike they leak terrible and I know I'm putting on the nipples right because I've watched videos on how to do it right. I had to switch my baby to mam bottles which are cheaper and make him a happy baby.

Nipples always collapses!!!
January 23, 2016
For my baby shower, I received the set that came with 2 each of the 4oz and 9 oz bottles and microwave sterilizer. My baby was 2 months when I introduced a bottle for her first time. The nipple immediately collapsed and even after massaging the nipple as instructed. The gifted thought it was a defective set! I bought an extra set of 4oz and 8oz bottles since I didn't want to buy a new sterilizer and was hoping it was just the nipples that needed replacing. The nipples for that set collapsed as well! Wish someone could tell me why because these bottles are not cheap. I feel bad that my baby always gets frustrated during her bottle feedings!

love the bottles unless using a bottle warmer
November 15, 2015
I love the neutral nipples and how easy it is for my baby to eat without having any issues. My only issue is using the large bottles with only 5 oz in the bottle warmer. The recommended time causes the bottle to get to warm and it feels flimsy like it's melting the small bottles did not do this when she was still eating only 4 Oz.

Easy to clean, my daughter chose this bottle over multiple of other brands!
September 10, 2015
My daughter went straight from breastfeeding to this bottle only. After trying out multiple brands, she seemed to gravitate more to this one- wider nipple and easy to hold. The bottle is so light weight and so easy to clean ! I also love that changing the nipple stages is so easy and there are so many other great attachments I could use along with this bottle like the sippy cup nipple . I don't have to go out and buy different bottles for each use!

Not as versatile as the 'classic'
August 27, 2015
I have always used avent 'classic' bottles and recommended them to other mums. I particularly like the way the bottles are so versatile with trainer handles and cup lids. On my third baby I purchased the 'natural' and was disappointed to discover that all my avent accessories were not compatible. When I went to purchase new accessories I discovered there aren't any for the natural bottles. This is frustrating and embarrassing as I just encourages my sister in law to invest in the new avent range. If I was back again I would stick with the classic bottle.

More expensive, and you'll have to throw them away after a month!
January 11, 2015
I was gifted a three-pack of the pink 9 oz bottles for my baby shower. I began using them in November, when we transitioned to bottle feeding. By December, the markers to indicate how many oz of water had started coming off! I use and wash according to the directions. I bought a second set, but in clear, before this started happening. Those ones were 30% less expensive, and have not shown any signs of fading. Do yourself a favor and buy the original clear ones. Great bottles, but rendered useless if you cannot see how much you're filling them with.

Leaks, leaks, leaks.
December 29, 2014
While the bottle is very easy to use and looks nice, they leak. A bunch. To me, it looks like the lip of the nipple that fits around the top of the bottle is a bit too long. If screwed on all the way the nipple interferes with the threads on the bottle, deforming the seal and causing the leak. Either the bottle or the nipple would need to be modified. Design flaw or quality control issue. Our baby did like the shape of the nipple and took to the bottles easily - it is just frustrating to see the amount of milk drips out. It's a steady stream. I will be searching for another brand of bottle. If these did not leak, I would recommend. Since they leak, a lot, I would not recommend these bottles.

Need to be improved
January 15, 2014
Love the bottle!! My baby had a bad colic but it went away as soon as we started to use this bottle. I had two issues I would like company to improve ( wish it could be done by now since I'm having a second child) 1. It opens way to easy, often while I'm holding it by its top 2. Numbers erase very easy and I couldn't see them after one month of use, which is a big issue at night 3. Numbers are small and crowded ( I like how numbers look on similac bottles) It was very uncomfortable, but it worked good for my baby, so I was putting up with it
