A good, lightweight stroller
December 19, 2011
We purchased this stroller to take with us to Europe to tote our 2.5-year-old around. It fit the bill, in that it was lightweight, easy-to-transport, and traveled smoothly. I appreciate that the weight limit goes until 50 pounds and our child only needs the straps on the 2nd level (there are 3), so it's obvious we'll be able to use this for much longer. Neither my husband nor I are very tall, but we've experienced difficulty with umbrella strollers in the past - having to bend over to push the handles and our feet running into the wheels when we walk. This was not a problem with this stroller. The only complaints/improvements that I wish for this stroller would be some sort of tray or cupholder for the child, larger sun shield, padded straps, and more easily accessible basket, but all of these were issues I was aware of in advance and weren't deal-breakers. I do wonder, though, if the extra cost of this stroller over the Jet was worth it, as, in practice, I can't see how the features of the Ignite are different from those the Jet mentions (and the Jet is about $15 cheaper).
Pros:lightweight, easy to fold, high weight and height limits, 5-pt harness
Cons:small sunshade, unpadded straps, hard-to-access storage basket, no cupholder for child
