Summer Infant Deluxe Day & Night Handheld Baby Video Monitor Plus Extra Receiver - Blue

Bought these to replace our white one which stopped working only after being dropped too many times. ( a day after we bought these it started working again- resilient). I love this monitor. The picture quality is a little fuzzier than our white one, but still great for the price and is interchangeable with that camera too, since just our handheld had broken ( if anyone is looking to buy it for that reason as we were).

I ordered the monitor because I watch my 2 year old grandson twice a week and needed to see what was going on his room without running upstairs every twenty minutes. It's been great. The quality of the picture is very good. Would definitely recommend this monitor.

We needed a monitor for 2 rooms that could be seen and heard simultaneously. Although there are just a few on the market that you can have one receiver and two cameras, I couldn't find any that would allow sound, and video from both at the same time. I had used this monitor in my daughter's room since she was a baby so with little alternative I am now using 2 receivers and two cameras to cover her room and my newborn's room. It works out fine. The only problems noted have been some feedback when one of the receivers is in the room with the other camera or sometimes when the receivers are too close to each other. Also carrying around 2 receivers is a pain, but I don't do that very often as I can switch back and forth between cameras when I am awake (needed the simultaneous feature mostly at night). We like this video monitor because we can hear everything including our newborn's breathing :).
