LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!
April 18, 2011
After anxiously awaiting my UPS man's arrival for a couple of days now, my beautiful Silver Cross doll pram arrived this afternoon. I purchased it as a gift for my little 5 year old grand-daughter, Briana. I have been looking for a doll carriage of this quality for quite some time but resisted because the prices were very high and I didn't want to order from a company overseas. Though I have to admit I really wanted one in either black, pink or white, I decided the color wasn't so much an issue when I stumbled across the Albee Baby website and spotted this gem for $399.99 - and no shipping costs!! It truly is lovely, I adore it! I've assembled it and can't wait to give it to Briana for Easter. I hope she loves it as much as I do. By the way, it's staying at grandma's house so I can play with it too!
Pros
  • Everything. The quality is wonderful. The minimal assembly that was needed was very simple.
Cons
  • The only criticism I have is that the packaging seemed flimsy for such an upscale item. When I picked it up, I could hear things sort of shifting and moving around and I panicked thinking the body of the carriage would be damaged or scratched - but it wasn't, everything was fine. I just think that considering the price for a doll carriage, perhaps more substantial packing would provide more stability. Other than that, I have no negative comments.

Fifty Years Later Still Excellent!!
August 3, 2010
While living in England, Suffolk, in 1970, my daughters's grandmother purchased a Silver Cross Doll Pram, twin style, and they used it regularly fromj ages 4-10. Forty years later, my three grand-daughters have used it for their doll play for over seven years. I've spent the afternoon cleaning & polishing it , tightened and replaced a screw and am pleased to inform anyone interested in dolls and creative doll play for children that it is still in exelent condition!. It was never left outdoors overnight or in inclement weather. It has been a wonderful reminder to this American family of our years in England!
Pros
  • Classic style, substantial construction.
Cons
  • Nothing!!

dolls prams

I'm British from Oxfordshire England originally, and I own a silver cross baby pram that I had when my children were babies. Our oldest son is now thirty years old, and my pram is in very good condition considering it's age. I used it for the three grandchildren I'm raising also. I know the dolls prams are also quality items, and I'd love to own one for our grand daughters.
