This is a really nice car seat for the money. I purchased it for my Honda Civic to use for my granddaughter when I have her. I had it rear facing for a short time, which required a 3-4 inch boost to level the seat (noodle or the like). With that it seemed real secure. When the doctor told her parents they could make her front facing, I also turned this seat around. She has yet to ride in it, but it is very solid. It seems well-cushioned and thus comfortable.
