Wonderful Car Seat
March 16, 2013
My son recently outgrew his convertible car seat, he is 3 yrs old, 42 pounds, and 41 inches tall. After searching every baby store in town and literally trying them all out, I pulled them down from the shelf and tried hooking them up on the store's bench seat and then proceeded to place my son in each and every one of them, I finally decided on the Recaro ProSport and I couldn't be happier. I was also very happy that I purchased it from Albee Baby's, their price was way below the store that I saw it in saving me about $80 and it came with free shipping and within 2 days after I ordered it, I am a very happy customer!
Pros:This seat is solid and very well made, the cover has snaps that attach it to the seat (my last one had cheap plastic clips that kept coming undone and they were a hassle to reattach), the quality of the fabric is very nice, the seat is well cushioned with memory foam on the bottom, the straps have covers that protect my son's neck and the straps also have an outer white stripe so you can tell right away if they are starting to twist. My son is very comfortable in this seat and when he falls asleep his head is well supported, not falling forward and hanging over to the side. I also love that it came with an emergency safety sticker to attach to it in the unfortunate event of an accident. This seat was very easy to install and only took me about 5 minutes to do so, just be sure to follow the manual's instructions.
Cons:The only negative comment I have is that the buckle is rather tough to take out and adjust which is really not a problem being that you might only have to do it if your child needs more room in the seat.
